My second entry for the second round!! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
The second round is all about Brothers Grimm's folktales, which is both quite challenging but pretty fun so far!
I chose the prompt that featured animation for this one, something I've loved doing recently.

PROMPT 3 - STORY LINKED HERE

It took me some time to figure out how I wanted to work on this prompt, although I did know I wanted to submit for it mainly because it had animation as a bonus, woops! ｡◕ ‿ ◕｡ Ya'll know I'm a er for animation. Like all the other prompts, we pretty much had free reign with what we wanted to do for it; the genre was just Fantasy, but based on how the story went it felt like there was a thriller feel or even slight horror, hence why I made the poster have a darker theme overall. The rose is in bloom and when it's finally in full bloom, the eyes close permanently to show how the girl dies by the end of the story! I hope that bit's obvious HAHAHAHA. I absolutely can't do a super clean poster, I can't take it for some reason, so this has a lot of elements and a lot of animation and thus, way too many frames to work with HAHAHAHAH ಥ‿ಥ  I genuinely concidered scrapping the whole thing once I saw I had a lot of frames to work with, but it was worth it in the end. I'm really happy with how this turned out!!! ╮(─▽─)╭  There are, as always, stuff I may want to work on more—like could it have been better brighter? more elements? less elements??—but again, I'm stopping it here.
