A Werewolf Boy
After a day full with drama, waiting until I can watch Battleship Island, and I’m looking for a distraction from finishing LAAO, I decided to watch this movie. Actually, I already had the files months ago in my laptop, but never got the chance to see it and so, tonight is the time.
Aigoo..I think I chose the wrong movie for forgetting my bad day...lmao. What attractted me to watch this movie were, of course, Song Joong Ki, who will get married next month and I’ve read a fanfic in my former fandom with the same storyline, so I wanted to know how this movie unfolded.
A Werewolf Boy tells a story about Kim Suni, after her father’s passing, she moves to a house in a small village. One night, she meets with a creature which resembles a wolf. Apparently, when she sees the creature again, it’s not a wolf, but a young man instead. Due to some circumstances, the young man lives with her and Suni becomes close to him. But, not everything goes smoothly.
This movie starts with some kind of horror movie, and then turns cute, and then becomes half-thriller, and then drama plays along. The latter is the part which I started to cry alongside the movie, and also it’s very different than a fanfic I’ve read years ago. A Werewolf Boy is a very touching movie about pure relationship. The boy just protects what he wants to protect (wolf is known to be faithful to its mate) and a lot of people often misunderstood him. Joong Ki’s chemistry with Park Bo Young is so great, hopefully they can work together again in the future.
If you want to see Song Joong Ki in a very different role than Yoo Si Jin, you better watch this movie. And yes, prepare for some tissues (highly recommended).
