Roleplaying is Dead.

Finding a new hobby is difficult. I've been roleplaying for maybe more than 12 years now, and now it's no fun anymore. I can't find a community to stick around in -people are unwelcoming, too lazy to write literate replies, they're dead and inactive, filled with cliques, and are just no fun anymore. One on one stories don't last long and good luck finding someone to write them with.  Friendships made online don't last either -roleplaying really isn't like what it used to be.

Trying to create them yourself isn't any better; people join and don't want to -do- anything in it but squat their characters, other people won't join unless the rp looks like it has a lot of people -so you're better off keeping the inactive squaters just so people can join instead of kicking out inactives. People aren't reliable enough to make good admins and help you out, because they lack self responsibiity.

Unfortunately there aren't any other hobbies that resemble role playing and the next thing I have to distract myself is playing video games. I don't know if I'm falling out of love with the kpop fandom, roleplaying in general, both or just with the people who've really ruined the experiences of it.
