• Megan was born in Bejing, China but moved to Singapore shortly after ad her mother was being relocated there. Megan is a legit ball of sunshine. She can be seen smiling all the time but this is only because she tends to bottle things up and not want to let others worry about her. She is a very cheerful girl and is friendly to many. Even so, she keeps her social circle really tight and this makes her have life-long friends. Megan can't help but be competitive when it comes to sports or any other thing actually. BACKGROUND —
• Early Life (Before SM)
Megan was very talented musically, being able to play the piano, guitar and viola. She was in her school's string orchestra. She has been performing on stage ever since she was 2 years old. And this kick started her childhood dream of performing on stage. Megan has been a model since she was 8 years old. She love having her pictures taken which is probably the reason why her brother, Luhan, signed her up as a model. She found her love for singing when Luhan forced her to sing a duet with him during his school lunch concert.
• Trainee (SM)
A year after Luhan debuted in EXO, she went to visit him and was scouted by EXO's manager. Since then, she has been a trainee in SM. She took half a year break from training due to a major fight between her parents and brother , and her when her parents tried to force her to leave SM by bringing her back to Singapore. Fortunately, they have reached a consensus and Megan is now back at SM. She did a number of cameos in music videos during her trainee period.

TRAINEE LIFE —
• She was very popular among the trainees due to her friendliness. During her trainee years, she usually hung out with Yeri as they were in the same group. She was a jack of all trades but a master of none. She can do well in her trainings but the teachers had a hard time placing her into her role as she was good in all of them but not outstanding enough to be the mains. In 2014, when her brother left EXO, she was being discriminated against amongst the trainees as they called her the 'sister of the traitor'. Despite that, Yeri stood by her through it all. A few months later, she almost had to leave SM as her parents brought her back to Singapore. A year later, she returned to SM with the help of Yeri and is currently waiting to debut.

• It all started during the filming of Mansae, when Megan was the female lead in the MV. The moment Seung Cheol saw Megan, he was attracted to her. During the filming of the MV, the scene when he dived in to save Megan from getting hit by the ball was impromptu. It was supposed to be Vernon. Vernon was distracted during the filiming and Seung Cheol dived in to hit the ball away. After wards, he approached Megan and asked for her number. Since then they have been dating each other
RELATIONSHIP — Unlike other couples, they do not show their affection thorugh words or social media. They prefer to do it physically, through actions. They act like a married couple with lots of skinship going on. Though they rarely see each other due to Seventeen's busy schedule, they still talk every night over the phone.
