I knew it wasn't a good idea from when my friend first mentioned it. "Lets play marry kill among the four of us!" Because that wouldn't go wrong. Yeah right.

The awkwardness kicked in immediately. I'd realized she'd pick me to kill about 3 seconds after the idea was mentioned. To make the blow softer my friend changed "kill" into "kiss" but everyone knew those two words technically meant the same. I desperately tried to stop my friends from doing this, but they didn't listen. Because they wouldn't be the ones to be killed, and they knew it.

"Of course I'd pick friend 1 to marry, bro's for life!" This choice was easily made, after that there was an awkward silence.

I was expecting it from the very first moment but it still hurt when she said: "and I'd friend 2 I guess."

That left me.

There was a dull ache in my heart, what was left from my non-existent confidence now shattered.
