MBLAQ APPA 03'

I enjoyed watching this 3rd episode as much as the previous. This season of Hello Baby is really the funniest ever, because we can see more interactions with the kids since they are older and there are three of them so of course there is always something happening.

While watching on YT, I read some comments of other viewers, I agree with some remarks like I desagree with others.

Firstly, Hello Baby is a reality show, so of course there are cameras, a crew with a lot of equipments that the child aren't familiars with so they needs time to adapt, but after I watched those three episodes, I don't see when the child were disturbed by cameras.

Some comments said that Dayoung is shy because she might not be used to it, I disagree with them because when she is alone with Lauren and Leo or the woman asking questions, she just talks normally, just watch the 2nd episode, when MBLAQ was still asleep. She is just more reserved when the MBLAQ members are around them, and as soon that all their attention are on her when she does something, like laughing or speaking, she just stops, and withdraws herself.

She might not talk a lot but she knows her surrounding, she understands fully the situation, she is very sensible and considerate. Her personality is obviously different from Lauren and Leo and we can suppose that she gets a different education than those two.

I was really feeling bad for Dayoung when Mir put her aside without thinking, I have nothing against Mir (he is still one of my favorite member), but at this moment I was kind of shocked and disappointed of what he did, I don't think badly of him, I think that Mir shouldn't have act so quickly without considering Dayoung feelings, this method of teaching isn't for her, it was too harsh, she is already sensible of her environment so I wasn't surprised that she started crying.

I really felt like it was unfair for her because she did nothing bad, we can't force someone who doesn't have appetite to eat, it isn't a caprice it's physiological, moreover It seems that it was time for her to sleep, MBLAQ totally forgot about it.

Secondly, I notice that Seungho only cares for Lauren, I know that he is her appointed dad, but I never saw him interact with Dayoung and Leo. It is true that Lauren is so adorable, nice, lovely, cute, considerate... we can add a lot of other compliments, but she isn't the only child here, Mir and G.O too there attention is often more on Lauren than Dayoung, all because she is more easy to deal with and is always doing cute things (I think that their reactions when Lauren does something are too exagerate sometimes, Mir is really biased lol), while Dayoung isn't that easy to understand.

I think that they will need a lot of patience and persist more to enter into her world, they shouldn't give up as soon that she say no but ask her why she is saying no, just like for the toys, they didn't ask her why she doesn't want those toys or what kind of toys she has at home. The same when they were in the aquatic parc, even if she was shooking her head no, I'm sure that she would have love that one of the member even more G.O, take her in his arms and go with her in the big pool, it would have lessen her fear if she was scared, and she could have enjoy like the others, but it seems that the "adults" were enjoying themselves too much to think about it.

Cheon Doong and Joon are doing a great job so far! I know I'm kinda biased because Cheon Doong is my favorite member but he is still dealing with the unstoppable troublemaker Leo, and show interested for Dayoung and Lauren, as for Joon, he was far from being my favorite but I'm seeing sides of him that I didn't know and I'm really appreciating it! Joon is really interacting with all the kids, even if sometimes Mir and him act like kids themself mathing perfectly their mental age, he is doing his best to act like a Dad for Leo and for Dayoung, I would like it if Dayoung choose him as a Dad, he is always the one comforting her and It seems that he understands her the best.

Like I said in one of my previous blog, Joon and Leo are bounding in a more than funny way, their moments are the best parts of the episode, when Joon and Leo are together something is always happenning. Leo seems to be a child that likes to play around very active, and play a lot with his punch like a boxer or some wrestler, I think that he might be used to play like that and he isn't aware that is way of playing might hurt others and that he needs to control his drive. He isn't a bad child, he just need to learn and someone to put some limits to his actions, like Joon and Thunder are doing, they make a great pair to teach Leo; Cheon Doong is more smooth and Joon is strict in a good way.

Leo is really a clever child so he knows how to manipulate them and have his way, his favorite weapon are his tears, as soon something doesn't went his way, he cries.

For the shark, I think that he was angry because Lauren took is toy, when he is the one that wanted the shark, and he didn't get to play 1st with his toy, so in this situation he couldn't understand why he was in the wrong, and doesn't see why he should apologize, since no one talk to him to make him understand why he shouldn't hit Lauren.

If I was him me too I would careless of those stickers, seriously, I was laughing when G.O came out of nowhere, talking about stickers, as if at this moment it was the essential for Leo who wants his shark. And as soon Mir took the shark, he cries lol, he is really smart, its totally automatic. I wasn't impress by Leo' excuse even if he is super cute, because he did it only to have his shark back, but It's still a beginning, because before he wasn't even saying sorry.

Moreover the members were watching so they should have step in sooner as soon that Leo pushed Lauren the 1st time and talk to Leo to make him share his toy, it wouldn't have gone so far as making Lauren cry.

Now he knows how things works, he keeps on saying sorry when he did something so they will let him go, but Joon isn't dupe and didn't let him go when he started crying because Joon asked him to say sorry. Mir was too funny pushing away the others so they won't comfort Leo when he is in the wrong. It's good that Joon took him apart to talk with him and explain to him that he shouldn't hit people like that. I'm sure that Leo isn't going to surrender that easily.

Apart from those scenes, there is a lot of other great moment with the kids, as:

When Cheon Doong and Joon Hugs tightly Leo who was crying because he got scared of the shark.

In the beginning when MBLAQ was doing funny things before the kids, I love how Lauren and Leo was laughing so much. And Leo playing with Joon in the car or when Joon was talking to his mother.

When Leo said that they where fakes Appa and choose Joon as a true Appa, Joon was so happy or when Hyorin said that he was the best Appa and poor Cheon Doong she said that he was the worst lol It was really a great episode!

Being Parent is a processus constantly in evolution, that includes mistakes and success, no one is perfect, Parents tries to aim for it. I hope that Joon, Cheon Dong, Mir, Seungho and G.O will learn a lot from this experience.

Yeah each of them shared a special link with Yoogeun especially Key Appa, who wasn't hiding the fact that he was proud of it lol, but since I'm so biased lol I like more Minho Appa! Taemin was a cute Appa and Jonghyun & Onew they were Childish Appa, even if they are my favorite members of SHINee, lol.

It's true they never had to change a diaper lol like SISTAR and Leeteuk, I didn't watch the one with T-ARA and SNSD yet.

Yeah MBLAQ is doing is best I'm sure they will found their way with each of the Kids.
It is for that I'm not judging them, and I don't like to read comments like "I hate Mir" because no one has the magic solution, Mir is perhaps clumsy but still trying all of them.

I think Yoogeun always had the upper hand and SHINee did compete a little too much haha. But that's what made the show more amusing. It was more of a fun show about them really getting close to Yoogeun but not necessarily having to do the dirty work real parents have to do. They never even had to change a diaper...

I guess I kind of dislike that MBLAQ is the group that has to deal with problem children and a complicated situation, though T-ara kind of was too. I feel like MBLAQ gets the short end of the stick in every thing they do, nothing is easy for them and so they hardly ever succed...sigh...I hope they try their best! I'm always proud of them, whatever little achievements they have.

SHINee Hello Baby was great, they were very funny and entertaining, to see them try to be a good Dad for Yoogeun, but at some point I was a little annoyed of all the competition between them of who was the best Appa, always interpreting what Yoogeun is doing to put it in their favor deciding for Yoogeun who he loves the most. It has been awhile since I watched it so I doesn't have in mind all the episodes.

Like you said, it was great when they were teaching Yoogeun and doing a lot of nice things for him. At the same time they were doing a lot to please the child, Yoogeun was really in a almighty position. SHINee didn't really had a lot of trouble with him because he was far from being a Troublemaker like Leo is.

Its for that I like this season with MBLAQ, I feel like they really have to educate and teach all the kids and not in the same way because the three of them are really different. And It is always an amazing experience. Like you I really expected a lot from them, they are learning too, It isn't an easy thing. Sometimes they are like a Kid, sometime like a Brother and finally a Dad.

I finished the season with SISTAR and Leeteuk, they didn't had the same trouble because the age was really different only a 14 months Baby, who doesn't talk yet and is learning to walk, so the feeling I had while watching wasn't the same.

And I just want to say that I'm really looking forward to something. I loved SHINee's Hello Baby but they gave up on really teaching Yoogeun anything that would change the bad parts of his personality. I don't want MBLAQ to give up and just do whatever to keep the kids happy. I want them to really change the kids like the parents asked.

I just read your comments and they are so thorough and thought out. I was really impressed! Most peoples comments on these kinds of things are really meaningless, but yours felt like I was listening to a psychologist or something haha. I'm going to think deeply about what you were saying as I watch the show now! I think MBLAQ is going to have to take this more seriously than the other people had to, because these kids have a lot of growing and learning to do and they seem to be at a very sensitive age.

I'm going to watch it right now! I'm really enjoying being able to see the kids actually talk to MBLAQ often. It makes it more enjoyable to watch. I'm still in the middle of watching this one and a little through the other 3 seasons. Still, SHINee's has been the best I think.
