BRING. IT. ON.

I stole this from Andreacnushin...again

1.How did you come up with your user name and what does it mean?

wait let me think...I was writing a story that I never finished (big surprise there) and the female protagonist's middle name was Amaryllis...amaryllis has grown to be one of my favorite flowers...and my first and middle initial are AC

2. Which is your most subscribed to story?
C H O C O L A T E, which is a king daddy Jonghyun story. Along with Daydreams of Bali it was one of my favorites to write. I really...really...severely like Kim Jonghyun.

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

...what is my thumbnail? Oh lol well it's my face...and it was the most recent picture at the time. I'm gonna go change it now though

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

SerpentineFire...she's also my bestie in real life

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

I barely have time to write my own stories, let alone read others.

6. How many stories are you subscribed to?

Please refer to the previous answer.

7. Which AU do you find yourself writing the most?

I write in the real world, I guess? Honestly I don't consider any of my work  to be fanfiction, because i always change names in my original writing. I change it back to the person's name for the sake of posting here.

9. Is there something you'd like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

Right now I'm working on an entirely new universe, and one of the stories includes a 20 year age difference. I regret nothing.

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on aff? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?

Lord knows I need to update regularly

11. How many subscribers do you have?

Unique: 1392

Total: 5031

Yall the real MVPs for putting up with my

12. How many stories have you posted online to this day (finished and unfinished)?

Heh heh...27 -coughs-

13. How many stories do you have saved in your writing program?

You really want to navigate the labyrinth that is my writing folder?

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

I write everything down. Everything.

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

I have. I don't recommend it. The ain't easy.

16. How did you discover AFF?

I was looking for a place to post stories, where people would be more open to reading about AMBW (regular fanfic boards are somewhat obsessed with people I really have no interest in). Bam; here we are.

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?

Lmfao child please

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

Lol that's very presumptuous don't you think?

19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

I've been writing since I was in the fourth grade, so I'm going to have to say no.

20. How many karma points do you have?

6208

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

Write what makes you happy. 80% of my stories take place in San Francisco; do you think I care if anyone notices? Make a happy place for yourself. Oh, and probably the most important thing I can say is readers will believe what you tell them, if you believe in it yourself. Paint your picture how you see fit.

22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

I don't start a story without a fully developed, 4-5+ page storyline. You would think that that means I would finish more stories.

23. Have you ever gotten a bad review or comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

Define bad? I think that depends on the perception of the recipient. I consider a lot of comments to be bad; I usually ignore them on the site

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)

Those kinds of scenes where there's nothing big happening. Filler scenes. I'm pretty bad at fluffing a story in general.

25. What story(s) are you working on now?

Are you TRYING to have an angry mob at my doorstep?!

26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Why do you think that I never finish stories? I'm always planning; I've planned four stories this past week alone.

27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

Not at the moment. Maybe one day?

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

Oh God yes. I would like to think that I've progressed swimmingly since the fourth grade.

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

C R U S H, if I'm being completely honest. It was my first intentional novel, and I freaking love Kaito.

30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?

I had a B2K fanfic I wrote back in the 9th grade. People still won't let me live it down.

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

Hopefully still as full of inspiration as I am now. Hopefully with at least two more stories finished?

32. How many upvotes do you have?

Wait, do I have to go count them all? Oh no, there they are. 281. It's a nice Houston reference

33. What is the easiest thing about writing?

I'm not quite sure how to answer this. I think it's when I have a full grasp on the personalities of my characters, and I can let them go, and talk to each other through me. I'm technically not doing work; I'm just a vessel.

34. What is the hardest thing about writing?

Sticking to a story when it's been 6 months-a year and you keep getting bombarded with inspiration from every side.

35. Why do you write?

I needed a place for myself to play in when I was younger and growing up an only child. As I got older, and became exposed to the hideous stereotypes, judgments and injustices that Black women suffer from on a daily basis, I cultivated it to be a place where Black women were well rounded individuals; educated, confident, beautiful, revered, admired, respected, and sought after. To run the risk of sounding cliche, I write because Black women matter, and that's all that matters to me.
