"we're never gonna wake up" her aura while onstage can shift with the changing concept, but she's able to keep a innocent and girlish appearance with a captivating stare. her shortness and slim figure aid in her "good-girl" persona while on stage, but what sets her apart from the rest is her strong vocals that is within a alto-soprano range with a slight husky undertone that can be hypnotizing. her overall look and that way she acts off stage has labeled her as, "the good girl" or, "the girl next door" label that she's grown into and play with over the years. with some effort, she can pull off a more classy sensual style but it's easiest for her to return to a kind and angelic style. STRENGTHS ♡ as a vocalist her obvious strength is her voice along with a wide range and seemingly effortless control. she's shown to have a strength in dance as well and has talents in playing musical instruments. "the reality that my parent's dream for me" Hiroko is the daughter of famous Japanese enk singers Masako Mori and Shinchi Mori. having two older brothers and one younger, she was subject to teasing by the boys as the only girl. Her oldest brother Takahiro was the hardest towards her. The second oldest, Tomohiro was the quiet genius and didn't pay too much attention to Hiroko. while the youngest hiroki was the nicest to her but still annoyed the out of hiroko whenever she just wanted some alone time. with almost two years apart from each child, usually, all the kids got along well but strangely, while the meanest, takahiro was the closest to hiroko. "and my own dream did not intersect" As a child being surrounded by music, she grew to enjoy it as much as the rest of her family. She and takahiro even sang in the school talent shows together. growing up her parents fought endlessly and brought a lot of stress and truma to the kids, and for hiroko, it was sometimes too much. she seeked comfort from her oldest brother despite being him being hardest on her. takahiro was the first one to inspire her to sing and helped her find her talent as a singer. while they both had different styles they preferred, they still found mutual likes in music and when hiroko brought up the idea to got into the korean entertainment industry, he was the first to know. "realizing how scattered i became" when hiroko was 13 her parents got a divorce and her mother became much more strict with the children as she was given full custody of the four kids. takahiro, now 17, became rebellious and moved out to their grandmothers house and later joined his own band. as hiroko watched her brother become a rock singer she was sure that she wanted to go through with her dream of becoming a korean pop singer. If that idiot brother could do it, she could too right? When she told her mother, she was scolded but was given the chance like her brother and by the time she was 16 she had signed a contract with her first korean label. PRESENT ♡ "throughout our time apart, i never wavered" after the disbandment of iris, hiroko began a career as a solo artist under sunset entertainment. she released both korean and japanese versions of her songs and promoted in their respectful countries. she appeared on variety shows in both korea and japan and held concerts in small venues and even had fan meetings. to say that she was as successful as she was with the rest of the girls would be a lie, but as a solo artist, she was able to put herself into her music and composed her own songs. she also appeared on soundtracks for tv dramas both japanese and korean. LIKES ♡ ( bears. ) they're her favorite animals ( tea. ) she'll drink tea non-stop to stay awake ( noodles. ) in any kind of dish made in any kind of style ( honey dew. ) her favorite fruit and will always get drinks, candy, etc. in honey dew flavor ( rock music. ) you'll see her listening to her brothers' music mostly ( horror movies. ) especially really low budget movies that aren't scary but try to be ( skinship. ) she loves hugging, hand holding, kisses, etc. - although she can be a little shy DISLIKES ♡ ( arguing. ) it triggers memories as a child that she wishes to forget ( her height. ) she knows she short and hates it when people will tease and point it out ( misunderstandings. ) going along with arguing, but also dislikes to be misunderstood which is often the cause of fighting ( caramel. ) it doesn't taste bad, she just hates how sticky it is ( cigarettes. ) it's bad for your lungs as it is, and has a terrible smell to them ( coffee. ) she can't stand the bitterness ( heat & humidity. ) she sweats easily and even the slightest bit of humidity becomes like the plague to her ( flip flops. ) they're uncomfortable and dangerous to run in TRIVIA ♡ she has three other brothers, two older and one younger as a skill that has been passed through the siblings, she has the hidden talent of scream she took piano lessons at a young age she grew up in a wealthy family her oldest brother takahiro, is the lead singer of japanese rock band one ok rock, while her youngest brother, hiroki, is the lead singer of my first story she was diagnosed with depression at the age of 10, but tries to keep it to herself. however when under pressure or is reminded of the parts of her childhood where her parents fought her depression can get the best of her her ideal type is kim jonghyun from shinee as mentioned in an interview because of her past, if there is ever a fight going on between two members she's the first one to try and break it up to be quite honest, she really does enjoy rock, punk and metal, but it was the fashion sense that korean pop culture as opposed to japanese had that drawn her in she's a huge cuddler |

as two women often do, hiroko and her mother got along well enough with some feisty moments every so often. her relationship with her mother though is stronger than that with her father who she has some remorse for. masako was the one who made hiroko be a studious "good girl" compared to her brothers who were all trouble makers. she was a lot tougher on hiroko to be mature and ready for the real world but would come off as naggy and strict. masako believes in tradition is had no problem living under her ex-husband's shadow which never sat well with hiroko. however as she matured, hiroko has grown to only love her mother and forget about the times she was a "mother" towards her.    — brother / morita takahiro / 32 / goofy, bad-tempered, rebelious
as the oldest of the bunch takahiro always felt it was his job to look after his younger siblings and looked after them when their parents were way with business. as children, takahiro would tease hiroko; pull at her hair, steal her things, and point and laugh at her if she made a mistake. however when tension was high he became a true big brother and was the best at cheering her up when she felt down. he has always had a bad temper and gets angry easily and has lashed out at his siblings, especially hiroko and hiroki since he was around them the most. he was never one to follow the ideas of his parents and wanted to inspire his siblings to do the same.    — brother / moriuchi hiroki / 26 / aloof, stubborn, hyper
as the youngest, hiroki was subject to so much babying he never knew what to do with it. however he was a little stain to hiroko sometimes. he would barge into her room as kids and scare the living day lights out her whenever he got the chance. he would sometimes play pranks on her or if he broke something would point a finger at hiroko to get her in trouble instead. but if someone were to ever pick on hiroki she would be the first one to call them out if takahiro wouldn't do it first. — father / mori shinchi / 72 / dynamic, smart, direct
in hiroko's eyes, her father was the one who started the fighting in the family and began to hate him when she was growing up. although he cares for her, she would avoid him at all costs and ignore his presence if he was in the room. however as she grew to be an adult, her remorse for her father lessened and she now visits him when she can and is making efforts to create a new and healthier relationship with him. kwandi and hiroko met when they were both trainees under sunset entertainment. kwandi noticed hiroko looking lost in the building and when she spoke to her, picked up quickly that she wasn't korean and din't speak a of it. thankfully for hiroko, kwandi knew some japanese and helped hiroko through the first few weeks when she first joined. they would often practice together, and sometimes give tips and tricks they learned. but soon kwandi was offered a modeling career by a different label. since kwandi wanted to be also in the acting field she hope that being a model might give her a better chance at being casted. so she dropped out of sunset and joined the new label. since then, the two didn't have much contact until hiroko debuted where kwandi caught her at a music show and they got talking again as friends.    — brother from another mother / lee hongki / 30 / aloof, thoughtful, funny,
while not being the same close as he is with takahiro, hiroko and hongki chat a lot when they can and like to share funny things on off the internet and hangout together if they're able to. hongki helped hiroko a lot with learning korean as takahiro had asked him to do when she left as a trainee. there's never been any attraction romantically from either side, despite them admitting that they would date either other. the biggest factor that keeps them from actually dating is how close hongki is with takahiro which would just make things awkward if the relationship would take a turn for the worse. however, they sometimes have in-depth conversations about life like, "why are we humans here?" or, "what do you think happens when you die?", etc. OTHERS ♡ — rival / kim 'saiko076' rika / 23 / daring, obsessive, posessive
it's easy to figure out that the relationship between a sasaeng fan and an idol can never turn out well. under the anonymous name of saiko076, rika is worshiped within the saseang community because of her connections with idols like hiroko due to being a former trainee of many companies who all dropped her after a couple of months. hiroko had met rika when she auditioned for sunset and they had both been in some ways, acquaintances just barely reaching the line of "friends". however after sunset had dropped rika because she didn't fit with the concept of iris hiroko saw what rika's "side job" was and dropped all contacts with her. |

FIRST MEETING ♡
"i can't go back" hiroko and jonghyun met as rookies at a music show back in 2009. both being new comers they bonded through their innocence and excitement to make an impact on the world through their music. being the kind of go-getter he is, jonghyun was the first to introduce himself to iris and took a liking to hiroko. because they didn't know each other on a personal level, their attraction was mostly based on appearance, meaning face and body. she stuck out as one of the shortest girls, (if not the shortest) and her heavy japanese accent made her strangely charming. at the time, both groups shinee and iris were not allowed to have cellphones so their only interactions were to be through face-to-face meetings which would only happen by chance if their schedules crossed paths. once they both could have their own phones they could swear they nearly crashed sns severs from how often they chatted back and forth.    RELATIONSHIP ♡
"i don't know why, but you saved me" like most stories, theirs started off in innocence; as fresh idols just getting to know the world of fame, then turned to something much deeper and more meaningful then they ever planned it to. for hiroko, jonghyun reminded her of her brother who she missed, a lot, only he was much nicer to her than her brother was. for a long time it was more of a one sided love where jonghyun was the casanova that always seemed to swoop in whenever she was feeling down. but as time went on she learned his true colors as a man who is full of insecurities and criticizes himself for the smallest things, and he saw her own fears and what her childhood was like growing up. as broken people often do, they try to fix each other and take on each others pain that caused them to grow even closer. "maybe it's too late" there were times that jonghyun's anger got the best of him that caused rifts between them. if he had ever attacked hiroko personally, her depression would consume her quickly and he wouldn't hear from her for weeks. deep down, she knew he would never want to hurt her which caused her to come back and mend herself with someone who she felt was the only other person that would understand and cheer her up (besides her brother). "we'll carry on" their love of skinship goes hand-in-hand and if they're left alone can get very hands on. there hasn't been anything ual mind you, however there have been times that the air has gotten tense enough that it might as well as had happened. the first person to break is usually jonghyun, which is common among most couples, but their mutual agreement was to wait when they were both ready, and hiroko has yet to reach that point. while in public they try their best to keep some distance to keep everyone else comfortable but that's never stopped them from holding hands, giving a quick peak on the cheek or locking eyes from across the room. CONCLUSION ♡ "i've decided to live only for you" since feburary of 2015 hiroko and jonghyun have been in a relationship that has had it's fair share of ups and downs. they choose to keep it a secret from the public, allowing fans to talk among themselves of whether they are truly dating or not.     |
