Personality 
Hyoshin is a kind person that easily befriends people. He comforts the people in pain and will make sure that every person around him feels at ease. He has a critical eye and will speak what's on his mind without thinking a lot about it even if it might hurt the person. He usually knows exactly what to say and is pretty good with his words, causing people to get charmed easily by him. He works hard to achieve his goals, though he tends to set them pretty high. He envies persons who have normal families though he tries not to think too much about that. He is pretty conceited as well, he is pretty used to getting everything he wants, which often comes from quite expensive brands.

 

 

 

Background 
                                             
Hyoshin is the only child of the CEO of a great video game developing company, Lee Hyojong, and well known trot singer, Na Shinhye. Due his parents busy shedules,the boy mostly got raised by the maids of the house. Though they almost treated him like a son, Hyoshin never felt real motherly love towards them and he longed for a father that played with him. From a young age he was quite a lonely kid. All he wanted was some love and attention of his parents, though he never really got it. His parents gave him the toys he wanted as some kind of compensation for the time they couldn't be there for him.

When he went to kindergarten, suddenly all kinds of people grouped around him. Though it was mostly because their parents told them to hang out with him because of his good status, Hyoshin didn't know that and enjoyed the attention he got from the kids. He played with all of them and invited them over a lot to spend his lonely afternoons with him. He grew especially close with Jo Sungjoon, a guy with even thicker eyebrows who would eventually be almost inseparable with.

Hyoshin was also know for his many hobbies, he started playing guitar when he was in elementary school, joined the swimming club when he was in middle school and when he got 12, he started with the hobby he liked the most: musical. One year after joining the small amateur group, he was able to start in his first musical ever. His amazing performance caused him to be one of the lead actors in the following productions. Some people often joked about him being a musical actor, especially Sungjoon, but he kept doing it, knowing the others weren't really serious about it.

Hyoshin starring in musicals became quite an success and he even got recommanded to become a professional. Though he was still young at that time, he declined the offers kindly. When he was old enough, his plans of the future had changed a bit. He wanted to focus on singing rather than singing and acting. He moved with Sungjoon to Seoul to study. That time his parents still thought he would go for translator in a university  closer at home. Though Hyoshin had different plans. He got accepted in SOPA and auditioned at some entertainment labels in the mean time. He eventually got accepted in WA Entertainment, which later would merge with RBW, where he is currently a trainee.

Trivia

— Rumor has it that he can't watch romance movies longer than 10 minutes, he cringes so hard at them that he would even clean other peoples rooms to avoid watching them.

— He left for Seoul without aby of his parents knowing as some kind of experiment. It took them about one week to notice he was gone.

— Hyoshin dislikes cleaning so much that they still have to force him in doing it, even when there would be cockroaches running around, he woudn't do it out of free will. It never actually happened though.

— He might look like a disney prince but would rather play a villain, he thinks it would be interesting to understand how a villain thinks. 

— His but is his best feature according to himself.

                           

Relations 

 

                             

Best friend / Jo Sungjoon / 23 / playful, bright, humorous, dorky, inteligent/ university student, secretly stand up comedian / Sungjoon and Hyoshin have been friends since kindergarten. Though Sungjoon is from a relatively poor family, he never took advantage of Hyoshin's wealth and solely hang out with him because he wanted to. The two shared a small apartment when they both moved to Seoul, Sungjoon to study, Hyoshin to become a star.  

 

                                                

Labelmate / Hong Jaejin/ 22 / see app / fellow contestant / Jaejin and Hyoshin are friends, but can be pretty awkward around eachother, probably because Hyoshin's friendship with Jaejoon is a little bit better than with Jaejin.

Mother / Na Shinhye / 55 / supporting, kind, emotional, critical / singer / Though Hyoshin and his mother didn't share a lot of time together through the years, she is the one who's the most supportive in him trying to become an idol. She understands his hardships and tries to give him tips and tricks while standing on stage.

                   

"Adoptive daughter"/ Cho Miran / 15 / see app / fellow contestant/ Once again, Hyoshin shows his easygoing character and caring nature. He would comfort her when there are tears welling up in her eyes and support her through the journey.

Trainee life After auditioning with the song Hope by H.O.T he got accepted in WA Entertainment, which later merged with RBW. He was originally accepted to be a soloist, but Hyoshin really wanted to be part of a group. His danceing skills were seriously lacking in the beginning but slowly start to develop more. He is quite a loved person in the company because of his kind and easygoing personality.

What was your reason for joining produce 101? 
I would be lying if I said it wasn't for personal gain. It's taking a step closer towards debuting, if you make it in the final 11 or not. Also I want to bring honor to my family and show my father that he can be proud of me.  

What was your main focus when training? vocal? dance? rap? 
Since I'm vocally pretty strong, my main focus is dance. To be a succesful idol, dance is very important

 

What class are you expecting to enter in the first episode? 
Of course I'm hoping for A, but I think C would be more realistic. B would already be a huge achievement.

 

What do you think your final rank will be? 
Around 20-25, I still need to improve a lot, but I hope thanks to the competive character of this survival show, I will learn a lot.
 

Do you think you'll be able to make it to the final group? if so, why? 
Like I said, 20-25 would be the rank I expect, it all depends on the other contestants, I heard there are some seriously talented kids between them. Also the national producers their votes. I hope I'll be ale to catch their eye.

 

What do you think sets you apart from the other trainees on the show? 
I hope skills. And my voice is pretty unique, I hope people will remember it. Plus I can tell the twins apart, which requires special skills, and that's just one of my talents.

What song do you plan to perform for your first evaluation in front of the judges? 
Jaejoon and Jaejin didn't tell you already, right? We're planning to perform NCT U's Without You.

Are there any final things you would like to say?
