BACKGROUND + CURRENT EVENTS — keimi's stubborness came mostly from her parents disapproving of her lack of enthusiam towards battling. her dream is to become a pokemon performer... however, when her parents discovered this they forbade professor juniper from giving her a starter as in their eyes, the starter was supposed to be for battling, not performing. this led keimi to run away with a pidove that she had befriended and, in desperation, she stole a snivy from the professor's lab and went to nimbasa city to visit the pokemon musical. elesa took care of her for a while before she decided to travel to kalos. to learn about performing.although she was succesful there she missed unova and returned shortly after. although she dislikes battling in general she is good at battling double battles as she knows many move combinations, being a performer.
she strongly suspects she is adopted. elesa later confirmed this, perhaps explaining why her parents never seemed to show affection with her.
RELATIONSHIPS — elesa- the gym leader was very kind to keimi and they are still very close.
note: keimi has cut off all contact with her parents. she has heard rumours that they buy the most expensive tickets to her performances, but this is most likely untrue, even though keimi wants her parents to be proud of her.
TRIVIA — keimi is allergic to oran berries. she only found out after wearing a dress dyed with them, after which she proceeded to break out in hives and sneeze uncontrollably.
she doesn't feel guilty at all about stealing snivy from the professor.
her parents had another child, called misaki, a lil boy, and keimi suspects they named him partially after her. and she only heard about her brother from elesa, showing how disconnected she is from her parents.
STARTER NAME — male unfezant, level 35. his ability is super luck, his nature is bold and his characteristic is "somewhat vain". he cares a lot for his trainer and is very sociable with other pokemon. his moves are fly, air slash, detect and roost.
BACK UP STARTER —female servine, level 32. her ability is overgrow, her nature is quirky and her characteristic is "mischievous". servine took a while to warm up to her trainer but after that, they became best friends. she enjoys performing and likes meeting new pokemon, but not as enthusiastically as unfezant. her moves are leaf tornado, wrap, leaf blade and toxic.
PKMN #1 — pidove started visiting keimi after she threw some oran berries out the window (if you remember, she's allergic.) they soon became good friends and he later ran away with her as her first pokemon.
PKMN #2 — snivy was stolen from the lab. she was kinda surprised but didn't really care. she didn't obey keimi until pidove told her what a good trainer she was.
PKMN #3— minccino was a wild pokemon living near the musical. she liked listening to the music and one day, when she though there was no one inside, she went in. keimi was practicing and caught her. her ability is technician, her nature is sassy and her characteristic is "scatters things often." her moves are swift, sing, tail slap and bullet seed. she is level 31.
BOX POKEMON— keimi doesn't use the PC a lot, so the only pokemon in there is a level 15 purrloin who refused to obey her, even after a pidove-pep-talk, and keimi didn't have the heart to release him.
COORDINATOR —uhh i'll just use this one i guess
her performing style is very bright and elegant, and most of her pokemon's moves are special attacks. usually she'll uitlise minccino's swift, servine's leaf tornado and unfezant's air slash. one of her favourite combinations is minccino using swift and bullet seed, then unfezant using fly to shatter the attacks into sparkles.
