He's slim with toned muscles from years of swimming and running. Elliot weighs 58 kg and stands at 175, which he would acknowledge that he thinks he gets his height from his mother more than his father. At the moment he has shaggy brown hair that can be described as bed head most of the time because it's messy.
 

FASHION STYLE — Polos, khakis, cardigans, stripes, and sweaters. This  is basically what Elliot will wear, which is commonly known as the next door boy look.

PERSONALITY — "CREATIVITY IS INTELLIGENCE HAVING FUN." Elliot Lang is a compassionate person. Whether it's motivated by compassion or concern, the boy will do anything for a good cause. Elliot believes that helping people is the way to go and when people hurt, then Elliot feels compelled to help. Feeling compassionate, usually means Elliot will encourage others to do their best or he will do kind gestures, like bake extra cookies for someone. Elliot has one wild imagination. For a kid who loves science, he has a lot of creativity. He really loves coming up with different codes and ideas for a invention he has for the lab. With a dozen notebooks crammed with facts and different experiments, Elliot is always thinking outside of the box with something and is always thinking of new inventions to create. While Elliot is compassionate and imaginative, Elliot is an observant person. He's quick to notice things and watches anything for detail. If, someone got a haircut then Elliot would most likely notice. Elliot pays close attention to how someone acts if their behavior is irrational. Lastly, Elliot is very intelligent. Things do come easily to him when applied to acemidic nature but they also seem to work when he is in his element. Which means anything to do with science or cooking. 

"I'M IN, WAY OVER MY HEAD." Elliot is unrealistic at times. Sometimes, he thinks way too much of possibilties that can not be nor are they sensible. This can cloud his judgement and even cause him make wrong decisions. What's his is his and what's yours is his too, that is according to Elliot. He is a selfish person who doesn't want to share what he has. Especially if it's his notes or even his thoughts sometimes, he would rather keep them to himself. Combined with being unrealistc and selfish, Elliot is alos stubborn. The addition of stubborness for Elliot is on another level, if his mind is really set on something then it will be difficult to persuade him other wise. His stubborness will cause others to argue with him. He's one not to back down easily. Lastly, Elliot is a chatterbox. Once you get him going on something and it peaks his interest then get ready to not hear the end of it. This is a negative because he talks constantly and it doesn't matter the time or place.

— Art | art is very fun and intresting to elliot. he likes how any emotion can be expressed through it.

— Pizza | one of the best dishes ever invented to man and something that elliot has most days when he is stressed. Although the greesy goodness is elliot weakness but it's something that stains his worksheets too.
— Books | books are simply part of elliot. he has them piled high in his room and vary in different lengths.. he loves books because they bring him to another world and they either fill his mind with important ideas or pleasurable moments.. old worn books or new cris p pages, it doesn't matter to elliot he really loves books.

— Rubarb Pie | it's completely awful to elliot and he has eaten a lot of different foods. but the bitter taste of rubarb is completely unfavorable to elliot
— Math | unlike his parents, he really hates math and even doing it. he just .. can't with all those numbers.

— Clowns | makeup + clothes + laugh = this is all too creepy to elliot.

HOBBIES — 

— Experimenting / Engineering | like his grandfather and father he likes fixing and tampering with things. he also likes testing things like make his suit a little more comfortable when he wants to increase or decrease his size. he likes to try some new things like making the teammates upgrades.
— Cooking | it's something that elliot really enjoys because it brings people happiness and that makes elliot happy. he really likes food and cooking to him is something that is expressive and artistic.

— "DID YOU SEE THEM!?" | okay, so forewarning you, elliot really admires jane foster and colonel james rhodes. no one knows why but he thinks they are intelligent and awesome indiviuals. he admires rhodey because he finds his personality fun and his knowledge in physics and aerodynamic physics extensive. if he ever has a question about the flight or how high one can go then he would mostly likely ask rhodey. he actually wants to go to MIT like rhodey has done. he admires jane foster because of her love for science is amazing. plus, someone who got to travel to other universe, he would love to do that too. he loves that she knows so much about physics and stars, a expert in astrophysics and is always willingly to tell him about it. he finds both of these people to be really knowledgeable and willingly to speak about subjects.
— "HI, WELCOME TO BASKIN AND ROBINS" | the irony of his first ever of job was at a baskin and robins. his dad still laughs at the mention of him bringing it up. unlike his dad, he did last more than a few days. elliot did enjoy the job for a few months with getting free ice creams and discounts on cakes. 
— Bees | he allergic to bees, like severely allergic to bees. it first starts out with itching, then the swelling comes but mostly his face swells and after it gets worse. 
— Hop in my 'mom mobile' |  elliot has his license and he does drive often. as a gift from luis, one of his dad's best friend, he was given a mini van as a starting car. apperently to his bestfriends he can pickup single soccer moms. he just shakes his head and says he wants another car.

— Nice tan bro | he was a lifeguard for two years before quitting. he did like it because it did give him a nice tan but really hated the humid days. he also didn't like how he had to kick out some people who peed in the pool.

BACKGROUND
Welcome to the world

 

Elliot Simon Lang was born on a warm September day. During the first three years both parents decided that they would help the Avengers from the sidelines. so they could spend more time paying attention to Elliot. Elliot had a simple childhood, regardless of how rich his family was, he did grow up in a comfortable lifestyle. As soon as Elliot learned how to walk he was taken to work with his parents. Somedays he would spend days with his father in the pym tech labs or he was always in his mother's office. Often times he was watched by his grandfather and they would look at different types of insects. Elliot had an interest for building and experimenting like his parents. So he would sit in his mother's office drawing small patterns. Amused Hope and Scott hung up his little blueprints on the fridge where they still are.

When Elliot was old enough for school, Elliot's parents went back to saving the world with the Avengers. While in school, Ellliot breezed through most of it and finding it easy for him to understand things. In middle school he was bullied for a litle while which seemed to affect Elliot. He started to act different, he was less cheerful and more quiet. Until, a girl with scruffed up pink sneakers stepped in and defended him from his bullies. Elliot knew right away who it was, since there had been some chatter about the new student  around school. It was his best friend Valerie Hernandez. She has swtched school and ever since then has been by Elliot's side. Since then no one has picked on Elliot which he is grateful for. While being best friends Elliot has learned many things from her,  one was being more of himself. 

In high school Elliot again breezed through most of his classes and even made a few friends too. Since school came easy to him, Hope did not want her child handed everything and made him work for the things he wanted. Like any other kid in high school, he had gotten a job to earn money to spend on his inventions or anything else he wanted. Besides school, Elliot would spend his time making and upgrading small inventions. Inspired by his parents to help people and save the world he would keep creating blueprints to his inventions, experimenting and inventing. Often times over dinner he would expressed his thoughts about being a hero to his parents who weren't really thrilled about that. They didn't want their child to be involved into something just because they were. However, Elliot is persistant on his stance and was allowed to help his father in pym tech labs. 

It was during the tme that Elliot learned more about the particles his parents and grandfather used. After learning more, Elliot basically talked nonstop about trying it out and the only one on board was his grandfather. It took a few days for his parents to adjust to the idea of Elliot actually using the Pym particles. Deciding to allow Elliot to use the Pym particles, they asked Elliot if he really wanted this. Which he replied with a huge smile and due to his talkative nature, he gave a million answers. While in his last year of high school, Elliot has known about the Young Avengers project from his parents. Although he's not moving to New York because of school, he is really excited about being a part of it.

— Hanging out with his dad always brings out the goofier side of Elliot. They spend time pigging out in front of the tv and watching anything. It's always fun when around his dad, if Elliot has anything he wants to test, then you can find Scott right beside him. Cheering him on, helping him fix something or ever being the test dummy.

MOTHER | HOPE VAN DYNE-LANG | 35 | CEO OF PYM TECH| SNARKY, DETERMINED, ENCOURAGING
— Elliot loves his mother as much as he loves his dad. The woman is always telling it like it is. She makes sure everything is in check and always encourages Elliot to do better with anything he is pursuing. Hope is the mother who does the discipline in the lang household. With her, she lays down the iron fist.

 

GRANDFATHER | HANK PYM | 62 | RETIRED| PASSIONATE, DISTRUSTING, AGGRESSIVE
— Now that Hank is retired, he has a lot of time on his hands. when he's not bugging Hope or Scott then he is always keeping Elliot company. When Scott's not around then, Hank will teach and help Elliot with engineering and experimenting with his suit. When he thinks Elliot is doing something to easy, then he will challenge him into thinking more outside of the box. 

 

STEP-SISTER | CASSIE LANG | 8 | STUDENT| LIVELY, OBLIVIOUS, LOVING
— Elliot adores his step sister and loves her dearly. He treats to almost anything and is constantly teaches her new things, but mostly about swimming, since that is what's she's interested in at the moment.

— Valerie and Elliot grew up together considering their dads are literally best friends. being the children of Scott and Luis is super fun but sometimes exhausting. Valerie is quite bossy, she pushes Elliot outside of his comfort zone to try new things. Elliot knows she means well but sometimes her bossiness can lead them into petty arguments, like fighting over what color the cake frosting should be. When she isn't pushing Elliot to try new things then they actually talk about anything and everything. Ranging from science, cooking to a new movie coming out. 

BEST FRIEND | CALUM SCOTT| 17 | STUDENT| FLIRTY, WITTY, ARROGANT
— Calum and Elliot became bestfriends when they had the same chem class and were lab partners. The captain of the football team and the kid who fixed stuff bonded over covalent bonds and scientific notation. When they're not in Chemistry class them you can expect Calum to drag both Elliot and Valerie out to Friday night football games and aftergame parties. Calum actually considers himself to be Elliot's permanent wingman and thinks Elliot needs to meet someone. So he tries to hook him with someone. Elliot and Calum also go to trivia nights at a local lounge. Usually it's Elliot and Valerie versus Calum and Melissa. 

 

BEST FRIEND | MELISSA HOLMES | 18 | STUDENT| HONEST, RESPONSIBLE, FRIENDLY
— Melissa is in the same year as Elliot but has already turned eighteen. Elliot met Melissa through Calum, they went to one of her volleyball matches. Whenever they're at a party together than she looks out for him when Valerie isn't there. When she can't figure out a homework problem then she always asks Elliot for help. Melissa and Elliot usually watch differen cooking shows together, their favorite cooking show is Chopped.

After getting ot know each other, Elliot asks her a dozen questions about her homeland, royalty, etc. Yeah, Elliot is cool with Zuri but he is still kind of starstruck by her.

DRAGONFLY SUIT — there are two versions of the suit. (without the helmet or wings x ) when it comes to none combat, a stealth mission or a repair job then elliot will wear a light jacket with a sleeveless shirt. a utility belt with cargo pants and black boots. even if elliot doesn't have his suit with the helmut then it's not far away since elliot always places it on the quinjet. (with the helmet & wings x ) this suit is used for combat or mostly all of the missions in general. the helmet is actually made out of thick metal which is made to protect the skull of elliot. the helmet actually protects the brain so that when elliot shrink, it won't effect the chemical matters of the brain. within the helmet, it is equipped with a emp communicator. it is held in elliot's ear. the communicator uses electromagnetic waves to stimulate their olfactory nerve center and pheromones of insect-sized organisms. the communicator elliot uses requires concentration, as well as mental and emotional commitment and devotion. the lining of the suit is a bit thicker than his dad's suit which it holds better against moderate temperatures. 
 

POWERS

FLIGHT — since there are  four artificial insect-like wings on the suit's upper back, elliot can fly at impressive speeds and maneuver with great ease and agility. when the wings are not used or are damaged then they can be compressed and hidden inside a backpack. 

SIZE MANIPULATION — elliot is able to reduce himself to approximately the size of an insect, though he can also grow his body to giant sizes as well. he still maintains his regular-sized strength and resilience when shrinking; while in reduced scale, this translates to granting him inhuman effort and exertion capabilities. also, obtaining momentum and kinetic energy in small scale and exerting it immediately while returning to or right after returning to normal size can result in a feat of inhuman effort and exertion, and therefore, momentarily give lang enhanced strength while in regular size, enough to send a man flying while attacking and enlarging himself at the same time. the process of altering size compresses force and energy, manifesting as brief shockwaves of vibration around the target that charge the target with momentum. 

SUPERHUMAN STRENGTH — elliot possesses superhuman strength due to his increased density, effort, and exertion, enabling him to take out multiple opponents of normal human size while shrunk and use the physical force and momentum attained from changing size to simulate superhuman strength directly after returning to normal size. this strength also extends to legs, allowing him to jump, spring and leap across with great force, allowing him to move through the air like a bullet to strike and impact opponents and incapacitate them instantly or move halfway across a room in a single bound. this strength is possible through force being compressed by the process of changing size, as well as his density and resilience being enhanced along with his momentum and acceleration. however, exerting too much force into impacts and physical attacks can accidentally kill an opponent, due to the force of attacks being comparable to that of a bullet. the process of altering size compresses force and energy, manifesting as brief shockwaves of vibration around the target that charge the target with enough momentum that can briefly enhance the target's strength while enlarging or immediately after enlarging. in his enlarged form, his strength rivaled even that of thor and hulk, enabling him to lift and crush huge vehicles with ease. this enormous mass comes at the cost of his speed and balance however and the anatomic strain exhausts him. 

ENHANCED DURABILITY — when elliot increases his size into a giant-sized man, he becomes far more tougher and more durable than normal. this is due to his increased density and muscle mass. however, this enormous amount of durability comes at the cost of his speed and balance, making his movements somewhat clumsy as a result. 

INSECT MANIPULATION — through the use of radio and electric waves and signals accessed with the suit's helmet and can affect the pheromones of insect-sized organisms and stimulate their olfactory nerve centers, allowing him a rudimentary form of control over ants.

GRAPLER ANCHOR — the suit fires a grappling line that can anchor and tether elliot to the surface he fired at, with the line then being attached to the waist.

 

ABILITIES

LIFEGUARD — due to his skill in swimming. elliot is like the life guard on the team, he is well prepaired and is extremely well at swimming as well as diving. so if someone is stuck underwater then you can count on elliot to come save them. he can hold his breathe for a total of six minutes. along with swimming really well, elliot knows cpr from days as being a lifeguard.
 

COMPUTER PROGRAMMING — similar to his dad, he knows about computer programming and hacking, he has learned a huge amount of programming and hacking from his dad. to him, computer programming and hacking is like fitting together different puzzle pieces. 
 

PICKING LOCKS — a lot can be learned from scott lang. elliot learned how to pick many different locks and other things from his dad. just give him the right tools and he will pick a lock or elliot will find tools to use to pick a lock, like a bobby pin. 

 

MARTIAL ARTS (ADVANCE) — elliot was trained by his mother in martial arts. he's not as good as her but he is good at holding himself against 

 

WEAKNESSES — when fatigued elliot has the hardest time and it feels like the suit is heavy on him, so it's hard for him to shrink or control any insects. his suit is water repellent to an exent, which means, if the water is contaminated with bad chemical toxins then it will damage his suit and make it very hard for him to move. If he is shocked then he is most likely to fry out everything in his suit and that will make him useless.

 

 

THE TEAM — elliot thinks this team is going to be good. Ever since, his parents were out saving the world he always wanted to do something similar to them. By nature, Elliot is a chatty person so when his parents told him about the possibilities of Young Avengers, he was really excited about it and rambled for days about it. He hopes this team will be just as good as his parents team or better.
