As a Writer...

Things I Like:

  1. when i re-read something i wrote before and it's like...how did i write something so amazing??

  2. when readers yell at me/cry because i killed their fave character/ruined their ship because i'm a sadistic piece of sht

  3. LONG AND RAMBLEY COMMENTS OMG LOVE

  4. comments in general tbh

  5. friends who get excited about your story

  6. brainstorming and coming up with amazing (read: angsty and messed up) ideas

Things I Dislike:

  1. getting no comments

  2. getting no loveeeee and support

  3. people who misinterpret the story (which may be my fault but whatever)

  4. extremely smart readers who guess all the plot twists lol

  5. when extremely ty fics get featured/popular and i feel bitter

  6. re-reading old writing and seeing the cringey a/n's i wrote before


As a Reader..

Things I Like:

  1. ANGST. DEATH. TRAGEDY.

  2. the ocassional fluff

  3. accurate representation of minorities

  4. beautiful writing with beautiful words and beautiful metaphors and everything is beautiful

  5. unique writing styles

  6. well-researched sci-fi/historical fics

  7. mindboggling plots with twists and turns


Things I Dislike:

  1. exo things: xi luhan / wufan / emotional diva princess kung fu panda tao / high dazed pothead innocent unicorn lay / troll chen / "gege" . . . and the list goes on

  2. stereotypes

  3. glamorized and romanticized ed up things

  4. mary sue's

  5. where the person is a grownup with the actual mentality of a 3 year old

  6. bad grammar

  7. poorly executed unnecessarily dramatic plots

  8. korean words

  9. chinaline/china-au fics where everything is wrong/based off of stereotypes

True !!! I am a writer and a reader too... I really appreciate comments bcz that's the only thing that make me so happy. . So I know someone enjoyed my writing.
And my grammar Is bad so yeah.. but um trying
And yesss! ! I don't I've when people say Tao is a cry baby like can't they see the truth he works so hard he has so much strength you might me blind not to see..

I also can't stand it when people portray Tao as this weak little diva who will just burst out crying if fanfan gives him a scary look T_T Like did these people not watch taotao do sixty push-ups in fifty seconds on "It Takes a Real Man," or perform any of his badass wushu, or, I don't know, manage to repeatedly break Chinese music records through hard work and determination?
It seems like many people think that being the submissive in a story equates to being a delicate little flower with a fragile psyche. But even if taotao is submissive, that doesn't mean that he has to be an incredibly girly diva *sigh*.
