Dumbest feature yet

Okay, so, now here on AFF before you unsubscribe from a story, it asks you if you want to leave a comment before unsubscribing, because the author would appreciate it. Here is what it looks like:

 

Omg, I'm sorry, but that would have to be the dumbest feature yet on this website. I love AFF, but really?

Am I the only author who doesn't care why readers unsubscribe from my stories? 

If you don't like my story, then leave, I don't care. If you tell me the reason why, I probably would still not care. 

I might sound like a whiney little , but why would I want to comment on a story I want unsubscribe to? I don't care for it anymore, so why comment on it?

Tell them that their story is and not to my liking anymore, but keep on writing? 

I swear, there are like so many restrictions on this website now.

Instead of 'can you leave a comment to the author?', I see it as 'can you tell me a reason of why do you want to unsubscribe this story?' :/

That is rather lame in my opinion. However, I did see an author whining recently about people unsubscribing but not telling her why. What does it matter? I mean, the person could just be done reading the story. Maybe they didn't like the direction. Maybe their tastes changed. They went as far as to say that they will block readers who subscribe, unsubscribe, and then subscribe again. What a crazy person.

wtf? i didn't even know it did that. that's ridiculous. if you wanna unsub, do so quietly, i don't care. T_T

I'm with you, I feel like it doesn't really serve a point and almost even encourages complaining about the fic.
