Nikki is very kind to everyone she meets and gets along with people very well. friendship is very important to her, and she treats her close friends like famiily. she would do anything for them. she works hard in everything she does, because she has gotten where she is due to her family's support and she doesn't want to disappoint them if she fails at anything. Nikki loves to have fun and play around. in her group, she is the mood maker/life of the party/ "the vitamin" that brings joy and energy to those around her. she had self esteem issues as a child due to obesity, but went under a huge lifestyle change when she decided she wanted to be an idol. she lost all the weight and became a trainee at Yg ent., but the self esteem issues followed her. only until her sunbae, top of bigbang, gave her advice to stop doubting herself since she worked hard to get where she is, did she finally get to the confidence level she is at now. which is pretty dang high considering she is a member of one of the top girl groups.
She loves games and the satisfaction of winning, so she is extrememly competitive. but nikki can also be quite a sore loser. Being under the famous yg label and surrounded by such inspiring sunbaes and labelmates, nikki has gained a chic and glamorous attitude towards life. her taste in fashion has reached designer/right-off-the-runway levels and the way she carries herself and the way she acts and speaks usually leaves people, who have never met her before, intrigued and slightly starstruck. people who know her enough, know she's very elegant and classy. but very sarcastic. although, never in a rude way. she's sassy and frank, but she knows her limits and when to pull back.
Although, nikki does have a sharp tongue when she gets upset or disappointed. for example, whenever her members aren't practicing seriously or are just playing around, she isn't afraid to reprimand them or tell them off for not focusing. she also has a reputation in her company to call people out on their poor attitude or actions, like junhoe of ikon. she once put him on the spot for being rude to his hyungs. although she does these things, nikki always makes sure to fix the situation without stepping on any toes. so no one ever holds a grudge against her for calling them out and they're all friends so they'd rather hear it from her rather than their boss/managers anyways. Nikki is also very possessive of her things and doesn't really like sharing unless she has to. sometimes, she'll share if she's feeling nice. this is also the same for relationships, her members have once revealed about her that she gets jealous when they leave her to socialize with other idols. nikki has also stated that in her recent relationship, which was also her very first and during her pre-debut times, that she would always get jealous when the guy didn't spend time with her or when he talked to other girls even though they were just his friends. Which also shows how nikki can also be a little selfish. in an interview, she told the reporter that in a relationship, she would want her boyfriend to give her most of his attention and not look at other girls, and because nikki was obese as a child, she always regretted not being able to do things she wanted to experience when she was younger, like cheerleading, ballet, and sports (i.e. basketball, soccer, and swimming), because she was afraid of how people would see her and think about her. so she always jumps at the chance to try new things, which is also one of the reasons, she was so excited to be cast on Romantic& idol season 3.
background nikki is the leader of blackpink (I would be jennie). they debuted in 2016 and 3 out of 4 members are 97 liners, she is the youngest/maknae, but when they formed the official group they decided she would be the leader due to her authoritative, but caring attitude and personality. since yg ent. hasn't been known to take part in a lot of variety/reality shows, nikki reached out to her manager and ceo, asking them to allow her and her members to partake in any show that invites them. soon, her members were busy with being mcs on music programs, doing special stages with other idols, guesting on radio shows, etc. nikki took a semi-permanent position on running man, and showed enthusiasm and variety skill. so when romantic & idol was casting from yg, they recommended it to her. the show appealed to her because she has only ever been in one relationship since birth, and since they just debuted, it will be 3 years before the company's dating ban lifts and she wants to experience dating while she has the chance.
trivia Nikki likes to eat a lot, but due to diet restrictions, she can't eat much. But when she gets the chance, she tries to sneak as much food as she can. nikki is also afraid of all types of rodents (even bunnies) and flying bugs, but can handle spiders, ants, etc. her favorite foods are jajangmyeon, dukkbeokki, fried tofu, salad, ice cream, pasta, and MEAT. she doesn't like hot drinks and is obsessed with milk tea and boba, and starbucks. since she is from california, there are times where she messes up in speaking korean and there are some words she doesn't know. Nikki has one older sister, one younger sister, and a twin brother, who all live together with their parents in california. nikki has many friends in the industry, some are bts jungkook, ikon chanwoo and donghyuk, twice dahyun and mina, got7 mark and jackson, and jeon somi ( former ioi member), but she is closest to jungkook, mark, and somi. nikki is a semi-permanent member on a variety show called running man, alongside got7 mark.
What do you think about this program? i'm very excited to be a part of it. i watched the first 2 seasons as a trainee and i always thought about how fun it would be to take part in it once i debuted. I hope to make new and fun memories on this program and hopefully form new friendships, and who knows...maybe start a relationship.
ideal type? my ideal type would probably be zion t. sunbae or dean sunbae. they both have a nice voice, whether they're rapping or singing. they seem shy and quiet, but are actually fun to be around, at least that's what i've heard. hehe. i've met them both on music programs and award shows, but never had the chance to talk with them. it would be funny if one of them were casted for the program. /blushes/ hahah.
what did you hope coming to this show? yg papa, our ceo, told me if i end up being paired with someone at the end of the season, he might just lift the dating ban or shorten it from 3 years to 2 years. my members are excited about it, so i will try hard for them. /laughs/. but to be honest, i'm just looking forward to the experience. if i do end up finding someone, then it'll be a plus. /smiles/

min, yoongi
personality yoongi seems to have a cold demeanor, but is actually a warm hearted guy who is more action than words. he may come off as a boring person, but he's really fun and silly. yoongi is up for anything, but if he had to choose a way to spend the day, he'd much rather spend it lounging at home, relaxed and comfortable. he pretends to not care about what others think of him, but he doesn't want anyone to think badly of him
first meeting yoongi and nikki met through jungkook. when nikki would see bts at music programs or award shows, she would greet them and talk to jungkook, who introduced his hyungs to her and her members. they never really talked that much, but did appear on running man together when bts guested on the show. during that episode, they played a game against each other and yoongi ended up winning. nikki was a little upset and yoongi noticed. so he went up to her and told her that she did really well and started complimenting her. since then, they became good friends and usually greet one another when they see each other. and they also talk to each other when they get the chance, and that's how they got to know one another better.
interaction at first, nikki found it a little awkward to be partnered with yoongi, because she never saw him as more than a friend. although, they did have fun together and she saw how he would be a good match for her, but she still wanted to see if she would match well with others too. yoongi was the same at the beginning, because he used to see her as just jungkook's friend, then as his own friend, then now he started looking at her as a potential love interest/girlfriend. but after they spent time together and he saw how it would be like to date her, he realized that she was the one he wanted to end up with. even if he went on other dates with the other girls, he couldn't stop comparing them to the time he spent with nikki, but he would have fun with them still. during other times, whenever the whole cast is together, yoongi, discreetly, takes care of nikki. but everyone notices how his attention is mostly focused on her. nikki realizes that yoongi is the one she wants to end up with when they get matched for a night challenge, and they have a heart to heart talk about their thoughts during their first date.
