Dropping Writing Performance

Have you ever feel that your writing performance is not as par?

Eventhough fanfiction is not really a medium or tool to judge your performance in writing, but as an author or writer I can feel that my performance is dropping tho I don't get a direct response from my reader.

I admit that I am an amateur writer and still learning in creative writing. My motivation and drive to continue writing and explore more is my readers. Their comments are the key factor that keeps me going.

Lately, i seldom get comments on every new chapter or new story I post so i can sense their amusement to my story has drop. Besides, it's hard to get new people subscribing to my story to lately.

That is why i think I want to take a hiatus to study more on creative writing rather than keep updating chapters but not up to my reader's expectation. I plan to take a break but some of my readers don't want me to so I still continue as I know some of them still expecting stories from me.

Hmmm ottokaji? What should I do?  Should I update less? Now i updated once or twice a week (every ff) should I update once every 2 weeks (per ff)? to have more solid and better content? What do you think my darling readers? Should I? Or I should take  break and write my story offline and upload it once it's completed? The later will take much longer time cox I may take 3-6 months (or more) to finish one story.

I am in serious writer's dilemma.

Ciao. XOXOXOXOXO

Hi. I always be here waiting for your writing. Some says "practice makes perfect". Maybe by continue in writing whatever happens, you can learn how to be a better writer. If you love writing, then just do it. Oneday, people will know who you are. Fighting!!!

I don't think creative writing is your answer, to be very honest. Took it once in first year of university. It bored me to death. The topics and subjects you'll mostly write about won't be what you enjoy. If you enjoy writing for your idols, then just write. Do not mind about viewers or such. I know it's discouraging, but if you have a story to tell and have characters you want to enjoy your time with, then that's all you need. Basically what I want to say is, you should look to your stories and your characters in the story and see if they entertained you first. If you are entertained, you'll feel less in need of viewers comments and supports.
