YooYoo - When Yoomi was younger, her parent used to call her YooYoo, though now they only use it sometimes. Though, as soon as the girls overheard her mother call her that when she was on the phone, they never let her live it down and call her that to annoy her sometimes.

appearance

— Yoomi is quite a small person, especially when she sand next to anyone remotely tall. She had a petit, girlish figure, which only adds to the fact that she looks like a doll, with her big eyes and round cheeks. Her hair is cut in a short bob, that ends above her shoulders, along with bangs. Yoomi has only ever dyed her hair to the dark brown color she has now, but she would love to have her hair dyed a crazy color in the future.

style

— Yoomi has a very laid back style, she never really goes out of her way to dress up much, but she always manages to look presentable. You will never see her walking around in skirts because she thinks it's too difficult to manage, she prefers jeans and sorts because to her it's much easier. She loves to wear oversized sweaters and layer her clothes up as much as she can.

personality traits Positive: Hardworking, Cheerful, Passionate, Creative, Reliable

Negative: Critical, Disorganized, Loud, Obsessive, Anxious
personality

— Yoomi is a cheerful person, almost to the point that people think she never get angry or upset, which she does but it's mostly at herself. When everyone is practicing, Yoomi will cheer everyone on (maybe a bit too loud, but she's always had that problem, her mom says it's part of her charm) and makes sure to help anyone that needs it. She will never get angry at one of them for messing up a choreography, instead she critiques herself thinking she didn't teach it well enough or she made it too difficult. When things go wrong, Yoomi only ever blames herself and work extra hard to improve on her mistakes.

Yoomi also works hard at everything she does, she makes sure that anything that needs to get done will get done even if it means extra work for her. Yoomi's passion for dance and performing can often be thought of as obsessive, especially the times she refuses to leave the practice room until she get a choreography right, it doesn't matter if it takes all night, she needs it to be perfect.

Working with Yoomi can be seen as a challenge from time to time, because she can never keep anything straight. If you ask her where her phone or notebook is, she probably lost it, all of the other girls have to pick up her things for her half the time so that way she won't lose them. For some reason, though, despite her unorganized and forgetful way of life, she manages to get everything done perfectly to a T, without anyone having to worry about it.

Yoomi has been creating dances for a huge part of her life and loves every second of creating them, though when it come time to preform it, she gets super anxious and worried about how people will react to it. She knows the dance is good because the girls have told her hundreds of time that it is, but she can never shake off the nagging feeling in the back of her head that people won't like it. As soon as she starts to perform, however, all of her worries go away.

background

— Ever since Yoomi was little, she loved to move around and could never sit still, so her parents signed her up for dance classes, like her older brother, Insoo, so she could get rid of some of that energy. As soon as Yoomi started the classes, she fell in love with dance and knew that in some way shape of form, she was going to be dancing in her future, there was no question about it.

As she and her brother grew older and became more advanced in their dancing, they started to create their own choreographies and would put on special performances for their family and close friends. Insoo would always tell her that she was becoming a better dancer than he was, but Yoomi would refuse it every time and tell him that he was the best dancer she knew.

Yoomi was never one to have many friends growing up because many people thought she was too loud and strange. This lead to her and her brother doing everything together from making choreographies to watching anime (always a favorite pass time for the two). Insoo was the one to put the idea of being an idol into her head, though she protested quickly saying that she couldn't sing, she could only dance, though Insoo still managed to convince her that her voice was decent enough.

When the two went to tell their parents, Insoo was there for moral support, her parents weren't too happy about the idea, saying it was a lot for someone her age to handle. Yoomi was heart broken after her parents told her that and she continued to work hard at her dancing, even practicing her rapping and singing so she could be more well rounded. A year later, she went back to her parents showing them her improvements over the last year, and her parents realized that they couldn't keep her from her dream.

At the age of thirteen, she started going to audition for many entertainment companies and all of them turned her down for various reasons, but finally after a year of trying Pledis accepted her and she was ecstatic to move towards her dreams of being an idol.

trainee life  When Yoomi first became a trainee it was difficult for her to adjust, since she'd never been away from home like this before. She missed her mom and dad and especially her brother. It took a bit for her to get her bearings, but as soon as she did she became as loud and cheerful as ever. Yoomi loved what she was doing and enjoyed going to the intense days of training because she knew that it would lead her to her dreams. She worked as hard as she could pushing herself to do better then she ever thought she could. When Pledis placed Twoteen together, Yoomi thought that this was it, that she would finally debut soon and her hard work will pay off, though when their debut was postponed shortly after Seventeen's debut, she was heart broken and even thought about leaving the company. Yoomi continued to work hard after that because she knew her debut could be right around the corner and she wanted to be prepared for anything. After she heard Pristin would debut, she couldn't help but be a little jealous and she thought it was finally the end, that she would never debut under Pledis, until they told Twoteen that they would debut, making all of her dreams come true.

love interest Seventeen's Minghao (The8)
back up love interest NCT's Sicheng (Winwin)

personality

— Whenever anyone first meets Minghao, they always assume that he's nice, sweet, and cute, but that couldn't be anymore wrong. Though sometimes Minghao is those things more often then not he's actually super sassy and sarcastic. He never misses an opportunity to tease anyone for any little thing and now that he's become more comfortable in Korean, he can now joke around with everyone and has overall become more comfortable.

love story

— When Minghao joined Pledis, Yoomi was super happy to have another person her age in the company. As soon as she saw him, she introduced herself thinking he looked like a cute lost puppy. When she went to introduce herself, she quickly realized that he had almost no clue what she was saying, so she tried her best to get him to understand, though her efforts failed miserably.

After that, the two avoided each other and would look the other way when they saw each other walking in the halls. One night, however, just as Yoomi was leaving to go back to the dorms for the night, she heard music coming from another practice room and went towards it figuring it was Soonyoung, Junhui, or Chan working on a new dance and she wanted to see what they were working on. When she got to the door, she realized quickly that the person dancing was none other than Minghao, and she couldn't help but admit that he was really good. When the music turned off, she clapped and he swung around his eyes widening as he saw her. She quickly explained why she was there and that she thought his dancing was good, but when he looked confused, she explained it again, slower this time, and he smiled thanking her.

After that, the two of them became very close thanks to their common interest, often times they would practice some dances they found online together or even create some of their own. Yoomi found herself helping him when he slipped up in Korean and even begged him to teach her some Mandarin. The rest of their group of friends would roll their eyes at their antics and tell them to just date already, which caused the both of them to blush.

When Seventeen debuted, Yoomi was ecstatic and when to support her friends at their debut showcase and afterwards she gave Minghao a big hug. When Yoomi was told that her debut date got pushed back, Minghao was the one that was there for her and was the biggest reason she chose to stay at the company. That was when Yoomi realized she had a crush on Minghao, but she refused to do anything about it in order to not ruin their friendship.

When Yoomi was told that Trideca would debut, she ran to find Minghao as fast as she could (which is impressive because she doesn't run) and told him the news. Minghao picked her up in a big hug and spun her around, congratulating her over and over. When he put her down, Yoomi couldn't help herself from confessing her feelings for him and telling how she's felt for him over the past year.

ending

— Minghao confesses back to her, but says they should wait for her career to get more stable before they start anything so she can focus on her debut. (You can choose whatever you want after that, I'll leave the rest of it up to you)
