appearance blessed with a small face and pale skin (among other things) nam yuna is arguably a very pretty girl. at least in south korean standards. yuna is not very tall. in fact, she is a rather petite girl, standing only at 155 cm.

style yuna keeps up with the latest fashion trends, and for the most part follows it. so you'll see a lot of cute skirts, crop tops, nice dresses in her wardrobe. just think of a normal, korean teenage girl, and that's probably what kind of clothing yuna is probably wearing.

magick powers
yuna and her own powers have been at odds since, well, forever. coming from a long line of combatant witches, she knew since day one that she the most powerful aspect of her powers would be her combat magick. when she finally gained access to her innate powers, she got what she expected, but not what she had hoped. you see, she has had this delusion that she would somehow be the lucky, and be more of a healer instead of a combatant. but no, she was a combat witch.

every single day after yuna gets home from school, she heads straight to their special/magical training room at the basement of their house to train her powers. it's her brother, yunsung, who teaches her.

her raw power is very strong, thanks to having two combatant parents, but she doesn't do much good at using it. even after three odd years, she still shies away from using her powers, no matter how hard her brother pushes her to do it.

now, she sticks to just mastering other branches of magic, even though her combat magic is still stronger than the others. other than combat magic, she's pretty good with the alchemical branch of magic. pretty surprising seeing as she can't cook anything edible.

yunsung

admittedly, there is quite an between yunsung and yuna. ten years, to be exact. that's bound to make things a bit weird, right? well, not for the two of them. yunsung basically raised yuna, and they are very very close with each other. sure, they get into fights often, but that's just what siblings do.

yewon

yewon has been nari's best friend since primary school. surprising, seeing as they are polar opposites. they do get into a lot of arguments with their conflicting beliefs, but their friendship often prevails. yuna has been wanting to tell yewon that she was a witch for a long time, but she has never mustered up enough courage to do so ever.

nari

nari has been the nam's next door neighbor since before yuna was even born. the two of them have a friendly enough relationship, often would pass each other in the hallway with a smile, but they aren't really that close.

mom&dad

yuna loves her parents, really she does, but she never really gets to see them much, thanks to their jobs. if you cast an honsesty spell on yuna, she would admit that she feels that her older brother was more of a parent than her mom and dad ever were.

jinah

jinah is yuna's black cat. it's very stereotypical of her to have a black cat, seeing as she's a witch, but she found jinah one night on the dark streets of seoul, and decided to adopt her for herself.
back ground
story of her life
in her life, yuna has only known her brother. sure, her parents are alive and well, but they were never around. they were mercenaries, taking one job after another, most of which are very far away from korea. it's only yuna and her older brother. so you could guess that growing up was a bit weird, what with your older brother acting as your parent and guardian.

despite the weird childhood, yuna turned out to be a pretty good kid. she even inherited her brother's assertiveness and leadership instincts. since she was a child, yuna has known that she was a witch, and that she was going to inherit her parents' powers, just as her older brother had. now, yuna had absolute no problem with inheriting magick from her parents because magick was cool. her problem was the strain of magick that she was going to inherit. it's combat magick. now, yuna isn't really a pacifist, she's gotten into a handful of fights in past years, but she feels as if combat magick goes against everything she believes in. combat magick was designed to hurt, and yuna would never hurt anyone if she could help it. so there's a lot of animosity between her and her innate powers.

in school, yuna acts as if she's not constantly repressing a big part of her. she actually acts like she has her together. she's constantly elected as class president, and she's pretty active in her clubs. she's pretty popular within the freshmen because of her looks and her involvement with pretty much any club, but her popularity isn't like nari's who's popular to the whole student body of gildong.

perso nality
who she is
ENFJ; altruistic, charismatic, reliable impatient, impulsive, bossy

yuna is the type to jump in front of a bullet if she sees a stranger about to be shot. heroic and well-meaning, but incredibly stupid. and that sentence basically describes nam yuna to a t. yuna is very selfless, and would often put  others needs before her own. it doesn't settle well with her to be an unreliable person, and most of the time, she would be the type to the one who finishes a group project entirely by herself. and she would be the type to be okay with it, and not hold a grudge over her groupmates, unlike most people.
