PERSONALITY:
if you ever hear loud ruckus occuring somewhere within the practice rooms of JNC, that's more or less Choi Nell. she's an energetic kid who either eats too much sugar for breakfast or was dropped as a baby. Nell has too many sides to know and to count; one moment she could be mucking around in practice and the next she'd be completely focus on dancing as if her life depends on it. however Choi Nell isn't just your noisy girl-next-door, learn more about her and see for yourself.

a slight social butterfly who bows, waves and grins at everyone she makes eye contact with, Choi Nell is well-known within JNC for her chirpy demeanor and the huge ruckus she creates with her fellow members. she gets along with trainees and staffs because of her polite and friendly attitude towards the people around her and is basically a little ball of sunshine who laughs at everything she finds amusing. she's very affectionate towards everyone, especially to her brother and her members, giving them equal love and shows it through numerous ways whether it'd be her constant warm hugs, boosting confidence, being supportive and encouraging words. when it comes to others, she will never hesitate to help them out and simply look out for them and was the type to ensure that those dear to her gets enough attention and care, dropping everything to be there for her beloved ones and help them in any way possible that it's no surprise that Nell's tender hearted and cannot say no as an answer, she will give in to them even if it does seem rather reluctant.

Nell's brain works like lightening speed thus why she always has something witty to say and can quickly latch onto things and was able to pick up what was going on around her to the point where there's nothing to hide from her, she even goes to the extent of being able to read others through lips, expressions and body language. with such a trait like this, despite numerous attempts to cover it, one cannot hide from Nell. she'll eventually persuade people to vent out their feelings to which she attentively listens, makes a few comments and show that she's trying her best to understand the situation and so information that is required confidential stays that way; Nell can be within that room and everything said is to be left in there for no one to see or hear off. however even with that trustworthy side of her, Nell has the great tendency to tease them because hey, that's what friends are for right?

although Nell seems like she doesn’t give a care about the world with her free-spirited demeanor, the girl can be quite stubborn. once she needs to do something, she won't stop till she finishes it especially when it came to her dreams. being an idol is her life and it's the only times when you can see her so focused and serious—there are moments when she forgets to eat or sleep because she's completely immersed in finishing practice or choreography. Nell stays grounded no matter how much you bother her or tell her off and words don't hurt her. at times like this when she's being stubborn because she needs to complete her tasks, Nell becomes hard on herself and forgets about her own well-being in general; she won't leave the place, she won't sleep and she certainly wouldn't eat in which she risks her health. the reason being is due to Nell and her perfectionist side, she's highly critical when it comes to work related things and she won't stop till she finds it perfect.

her strength (emotional, physical and mental) is covered by her weak appearance whilst on the other hand, that strength is covered by the fact that she's easily scared. never in a million years can Nell be like those who seem to have no fear in the world because this girl is practically a chicken. her concerns can range from one subject to another and if she was ever told to write down all her worries and fears, it'd be as long as GD's hair extension in fantastic baby thus there has never been a day where she isn’t overthinking situations that haven’t even occurred and basically everything that comes to mind because this girl has the tendency to stress herself for no apparent reason. Nell may act like a tough girl however you place her into a haunted house, she will cling onto the person beside her as if tomorrow will never exist and before you know it, all sorts of screams, cries, wails will be heard throughout the vicinity. so don't be surprised if she comes out like a wreck with tears all over her face and the person she was with inside, all ruffled and exhausted due to her .

this or that, who cares she goes for both and if she can't have both then expect to hear an answer in about ten years. never trust this kid to make a certain decision right away, Nell is like every fangirl you know in life; they like one person in this group but suddenly there's like three other more who interrupt her feelings and they become an emotional wreck because who to choose?? her mind will cross loads of thoughts but in the end, won't have a single clue on what to do as Nell has the worst decision making skills throughout the entire universe that not only does it annoy her but it annoys others as well. she has no idea when it came to deciding thus grew up to be rather passive and went along with what others wish to do because she does not give two cents and refuses to decide. this trait was a huge reason on why Nell has a difficult time when it came to serious situations where deciding took a toll on the path she takes that'll lead to another chapter in life.

BACKGROUND:
Nell was born as Choi Soojung on spring 1994 in Seoul. She uses the name Choi Nell as they fits her persona better rather that Choi Soojung.Her family consist her eomma, Han Sohee, her appa, Choi Minjae, her two unnies, Choi Yeonhee & Choi Yeonmi and her brother Choi Dongwook or many knew him as Se7en. Yes she's the baby sister of the world-known idol. Nell and her siblings had a large . The Choi siblings adored Nell a lot escpecially Se7en. Se7en cherishes his sister a lot like his own daughter as their parents were too busy with their own career. Se7en was labeled as dongsaeng babo as he showered Nell with a lot of love and attention on and off camera.

Nell's passion towards music was quite influenced by Se7en. I mean she grew up with his musics and dances.she looked up to her brother. Her parents put her in a dancing and vocal academy when they saw Nell was talented in those areas. In no time, she was acing both of the classes and her family was proud of her. Because Se7en couldn't be apart from Nell, he took her with him to America for 2 years as he have to promote there. There, Se7en puts her in a dance academy for her to continue her practices that she had done in Korea. She joined dance competitions since she just had this confidence to stand on the stage and shows off her talent.  

In 2006, JNC scouted Nell at one of her dance competition. The CEO himself scouted Nell as he saw her bright future as an idol. Se7en and Nell came back to Korea that year so Nell can be trained at JNC. when she first got into JNC, many knew that she was Se7en precious sister, and some trainess would try to get closer to her because of that. there were even some who would think that the trainers were showing favourism towards her when she was praised, yet it wall all due to her hardwork. this continued, she started getting insecure about certain things, fortunately, it all soon stopped after a while and she made a lots of friends easily, being the social butterfly that she is. more people liked her for who she is and acknowledeged her of her dancing skills.

when she was well adjusted to how things worked around the industry, she focused more into her trainings. she wasnt one of the best singers but her singing was decent. her dancing however, was what she was most confident in. her singing have improved since she began taking lessons but no doubt that her dancing was better.

LIFESTYLE:
   — she was offered to be an actress in 2011. and since that, she lives as Choi Nell, the actress. she lives with Se7en in a 14500 square feet penthouse. after she graduates from highschool, she still continuing in her acting career and in her free time, she will dance. eventhough she didnt dance as much like the old days, but she still got the skill. Se7en said that she was gifted to dance. A collaboration between SM & JNC formed "2Stars" composing Nell and EXO Kai in 2014. They're like part of the project. She enrolled in Seoul National University majoring fine arts. she's now in her 3rd year. she take a hiatus in her acting career in 2017 to prepare herself for Impact's debut.
