SUMMARY : mahogany curled locks stick to flushed peach colored cheeks, pale tinted lips pouting at nothing, eyes shining bright with stars, the smell of the ocean and morning dew on soft petals, waves crashing against sharp rocks, moonlight reflecting off of calm waters, a setting sun.

CHAPTER ONE : CRY ME A RIVER

SUMMER / JUNE

001. hands reach up to touch the surface, feet kicking rapidly. visions blurred, streams of light leading her way as her lungs constrict inside her chest. it was a cruel joke to throw the nerdiest girl at the party into the pool- even crueler when they found out she couldn't swim afterwards. heavy gasps, tears mixing in with chlorinated drops. ' it was just a prank, loser, get over it. '
002. packed bags and closed boxes litter the empty room, eyes scan for loose items. ( if there are any, she just tosses them into one of the open boxes. ) only a week after the incident and her mother thought it'd be better if she was sent off to live with her father back in seoul with the news of her being able to get a better education at one of the most prestigious school's in seoul. ( of course, strings were pulled by her fathers hands but she's not sure that's something to be proud of just yet. )
003. a month and a half to get settled into a place she hadn't been to in years, a month and a half to visit relatives she hasn't seen for a long time and a month and a half to panic over the fact that she was going to a new school, going to meet new people and start over once again. she paces back and forth, the walls of her new room feeling as if they were closing in on her although the room itself was quite spaceous. she mulls over what to do in her situation, freaking out almost as badly as her mother had when she came home shaking and in tears over her near-drowning experience. it's not that big of a deal she decides after half her day spent, starting over means a new her - right? a new her.
