– Emily :: During her third year of being a trainee under Star Empire, one of the newer girls from America had made the observation that Emiri's name sounded quite similar to the English name "Emily". Emiri thought it was a cute little play on her name so she stuck with it.
– Okasan/Umma :: Due to her protective nature over her small group of girls at their agency, she was infamously known as their "Umma" although she preferred to be called "Okasan" as that was the same title in her mother tongue.

– Korean :: Emiri has a decent grasp over the Korean language, although there are times where she does struggle with her words and will need prompting from another if she doesn't know how to go about saying a certain phrase.                   – English :: Thanks to having a few English classes back in Japan, Emiri is able to say a few basic things in the language. An entire conversation is well out of her comfort zone - however, Emiri does hold pride in having mastered saying certain sounds that many words in English contain, making saying the occasional off-word in a rap quite easy.

Appearance. 172 cm & 50 kg. Emiri takes pride in both her tall stature and slim figure, despite some being able to claim she is "not entirely healthy" due to her proportions. Some at her company have described her as the perfect member for 9Muses: a height that puts her well above most female idols, a slim figure that would drive male fans insane, and an overall aura balanced evenly between sultry and mysterious.

Her chestnut colored hair sits a little ways past her shoulders, needing minimum effort in styling due to the fact of its natural straightness. Emiri's main focus however are her eyes; while simply dark in color, their intensity contrasts her pale skin, adding on to her undeniably sensual aura.
