+ more (useless) info about mcm ent

the building was set up in 1989, with a small warehouse type space with lots of rooms dedicated to study halls to learn lines, practice spaces and offices for the staff to work in. when current ceo min took over and it became a full fledged entertainment company in early 2009 leading on to 2010, she moved the company to a large four storey building that could've easily been mistaken for a simple indie office space. it's on the outskirts of seoul, so getting there is simple and doesn't require much time as the train station is nearby.  each level is unofficially labelled by the people who work there. one. the first level is the 'concentration floor' as behind the receptionist's wall, there are many rooms for composers, scriptwriters and lyricists work in as well as many rest rooms and lounges for the staff and trainees alike. there's also a small cafeteria area for the trainees there.  two. the second level is the 'dance floor' as many dance practice rooms are on that floor. there is a smaller, separated section specifically for idols on that floor. the idol's practice rooms are significantly larger there. monthly evaluations take place in the trainee dance rooms for all trainees in mcm. three. the third level is the 'music floor' as the recording studios, instruments and vocal training rooms are all located here. four. the last level is the 'paperwork floor'. it serves for the office space for all the mcm staff where all the meetings, conferences and interviews. it is also the place where all their editing in their photos, profiles and videos take place. this floor is either heaven or hell for trainees as the only time you've been requested to the fourth level is either when you are granted your debut or if you're being dumped as a trainee.
