I’ve had writer’s block for roughly 2 months. Now, after a lot of struggle and losing my “voice” I think I can finally commence my work. One of the projects I was working on was a fanfic prompt/challenge. One of the suggested genre combos I was challenged to were unfamiliar so I decided to take it on. This fanfic will be an attempt at “unreliable narrator” and “horror”. I feel that this is going well so far so I decided to share the intro. Tell me what you think in the comments. It’s hard for me to begin, because I don’t want this to end. Rather, it simply can’t. I can’t think of being apart anymore. We’re tied together by the red string of fate, whose thick silk thread is fastened to our wrists. It pulled him towards me. My frightened Beau. He quivered like a leaf when I reached into my pocket, his delicate features contorting in fear. In this isolated space, a realm I created for us; we can finally be together. With pen in hand, sitting across the room from him, I will tell our love story before we disappear into our promised forever.

I should tell you how we got to this point. I do hope he stays quiet while I recollect. It’ll be hard to focus on writing if I have to fasten the ropes again. He also bit me when I tried feeding him so I had to gag him real good. I fear my penmanship will suffer greatly by the injury. But the sting of the open wound, and his hot mouth clamped onto my fingers is such a fresh thrill. That will be the momentum that drives me forward through this story. Though, the pain in and of itself presents an entirely new thrill and makes me want to express my love in an entirely different way. My breath quickens just thinking about it.

But I digress. Let me resist that twisting of my gut and the thundering of my heart just to tell this tale. You must know what led him to me. You must know all the ways my soul craves him. I’ll try to make this quick. My love is waiting.
