What Kind Of View Is The Best?

Hey~ So, I have been reading many fanfics, books etc and I notice every author is using the different kind of view.

Some are using the first person view, some are using the second, and some are using the third person view. Me myself is using the first person view for my fanfics. Sometimes I use the third one.....

But what I really really want to know, is which view is the best one to use? Cause when I use the first one, I just can't express my thoughts and feelings the way I wanted it in the story.

I really want the best for my fic, so I'll really appreciate it if you tell me your opinion in the comment section below...

i agree that there's no definite answer, it depends on the writers and i wouldn't use 'the best' or worst for something that depends on personal preference and not fact. For me, first person pov allow me to go into my characters' deepest thoughts and feelings without feeling unrealistic that i know too much while being an outsider(third person) n i especially dislike using omniscient third person pov...but generally third person is i guess the most commonly acknowledged pov in fiction writing though i could be wrong...i've been trying to go back to third person but i just keep struggling. with first person...the challenge is to reveal things only known by the character narrating the story...it kinda feels like a limitation...but i like how grounded and realistic that feels. As for second person...it's hard for me to take it seriously...maybe i can try to use it for fun sometime...but it just feels awkward for me to use second person pov. then again, it's all my personal preference, i'm unable to give the answer of what's best or not, only what works best with me.

I'm like you too. I used to mostly write in first person pov but then I had to switch between the characters pov frequently to show what they felt in that situation. so these days, I started using third pov most of the time while going onto to first person pov in some chapters if needed.

I personally think that there is no definite answer to this question. Everyone has different opinion on what point of view is the best. As for myself, I prefer third person pov. I have the freedom to express my thoughts and dive in other characters' thoughts as well. Maybe you should try explore both pov to find out which one works the best with your style :)
