Writer of "Mad Love" Plagiarized My Writing

From Chapter 41 of Mad Love which has just been removed. On the right is the original text I wrote in Chapter 60 of Losing to the Heat

Also from Chapter 41 of Mad Love and on the right is a screenshot of what I wrote 2 years ago for Fifty Shades of Pink Chapter 2.

Contrary to what the writer claims "This chapter was the only instance where I did this sort of thing." Readers have informed me that it happened before Chapter 41. As early as Chapter 23. Screenshots here. Link to my original work: Losing to the Heat

I don't know how many other chapters have plagiarized lines from my original work. But this is is hugely disappointing. I was ready to forgive and move on but the writer was not honest when they said about Chapter 41 "This chapter was the only instance where I did this sort of thing."

It was not the first time. I don't know which other original fanfics are victims of this too.

Please report the plagiarizing fanfic: https://www.asianfanfics.com/story/view/969444/mad-love-taeny

I can't believe there are people here who actually underestimated the idea of plagiarism here. Yes, you guys want to know the ending of the story and yes, unniesone might have written it well at some point of time but that does not cover the fact that parts of the story were indeed taken from other stories, other author(s). What's the point of reading something that was COPIED, and getting credits for it being "written well" when it wasn't hers in the first place. The whole point of writing a story is to deliver it ORIGINAL, if you are a respectful and passionate writer you wouldn't steal what's others and made it look like it's yours blatantly even with a writer's block (I mean come on, every writer probably has a block every now and then).

And what's worse was the dishonest apology towards itsakyo. I'm not being biased just because I'm a reader of itsakyo's productions. If one is in the wrong, you should have the decency to at least rectify the problem, and not think that you could scrape through with an "apology" and with the amount of blinded readers who were throwing hate at the victim just for their own needs. Don't victimize the criminal, don't criminalize the victim.

Imagine people stealing your hard work, in school or at a workplace, and getting credits for it without any remorse, are you gonna stay quiet and not claim what was rightfully yours?

Just here to give you moral support! It is quite curious though, how some readers react to plagiarism. Logically speaking, writers would be very protective of their work so I believe those who think it's okay just because the plot is different, are only readers. Following that line of thought, they are probably just thinking of their own interest i.e. to read both fics, without considering how the writers would feel. It would be a very different story if the plagiarism involved copying the entire plot and story without changing anything, because in this case, the readers still get to read the original story and are free to report plagiarism. That's rather shortsighted, cos they are encouraging plagiarism and discouraging originality, and going down that road just means losing writers who put effort into writing and eventually, all you have left are those who plagiarize in the fandom.

Anyway, I am glad it has been resolved! I really love your stories and I look forward to reading more of them! Kudos to you, Ak~! ^^

wow. both you and unniesone write stories that i really enjoy and im disappointed to say the least that she felt the need to plagiarise from your story when her story really, would've been fine without it and was doing well, anyway. id be lying if i said that im not a little sad that Mad Love was taken down but im glad you got your justice because plagiarism is any situation at all just isn't right :-/

And she said she'll explain it to us after she solve the issue with you.. Damn. I really love Mad Love and thinking that the story has many plagiarized lines makes me feel down. I really like her way of writing too.. I thought it was original, gosh. I love the fic but what she did is wrong.

it's not just about apologizing, she already did it and lied saying she did it just once. this is wrong. o followed the fic from the beginning but i was never able to identify smth like that, but the last chapter was a total mess. i am completely frustrated and disappointed. i hope you get some justice from that, author. i also hope that people become less selfish and realize how bad all this is.

Cmon guys but u are all acting and thinking like those bad-korean and not mind open people when tiffany made that mistake about the flag thing. What unniesone did was really really wrong but we should be available to forgive, now everybody knows she stole some stuff from itskayo let her take the credit scream it out loud whatever but dont ask her to take the fanfic down, thats really mean especially for someone who said sorry. Just think about the time when tiffany was kicked out of unnies slam for that mistake.

hate to be the one who says it, but in chapter 23 (and others, I've noticed) of Mad Love, there are some sick similarities with chapter 6 of Losing to the Heat.

I'm a huge fan of your work, and when I started reading Mad Love I was confused with some paragraphs and how alike they were to your stories. But I thought I was just seeing things.

Anyway, I am a fan of Mad Love as well, so I'm glad you guys cleared it up.

Lmao. Why? They literally plagiarized word for word. They added like two words of their own hoping that it'll help make it seem as if it's their work? Why do people do that?

Report her, plagiarizing is not funny and should not be tolerated in a community that is build on personal creativity.
