APPEARANCE 

taehoon is... plain. apart from his giant height, the boy has short black hair, simple brown eyes and is all lanky. he can't pretend to have muscles though his body is naturally muscular somehow, even he can't explain this. his body is slightly tanned because of his tendancy to stay under the sun for too long. other than those characteristics, the boy looks like any random korean male - and he intents to keep it that way. even his clothing style is pretty normal, since he doesn't like standing out. dark jeans and plain shirts are what compose his wadrobe. he does like wearing black, white and grey and he's not fan of colors. his favorite style is a plain t-shirt covered by a long-sleeved shirt with black pants and comfy shoes. many would say he looks like a typical student, which is fine by him. his faithful glasses are always in the pocket of his shirt or on his nose. the only moment he actually makes an effort to dress up more stylishly is when he has to go meet the godlings. maybe his ego makes him want to look more like a leader? he doesn't know.

angel by day, demon by night. being the head of the sears is not always easy. it's a challenge for taehoon to work on and the game he has been playing for two years now. climbing through the ladder of the gangs was like chess. controlling people is his talent, knowing everything his hidden card. behind a soft smile and a gentle gaze, a cunning fox is sleeping, ready to pounce on his target and tear it to pieces. once he sets his eyes on a target, he doesn't back down, he attacks. don't mistake image with reality - for oh-so-sweet taehoon is a player and he hates losing.

PERSONALITY 

taehoon has been used to take care of people younger than him. living without a family made him yearn for one and he found the sears. they're his family and he treats them like the most precious beings in the world. he has the image of the perfect big brother : caring, loving, protective. he always makes sure everyone is comfortable and is always ready to help them if there's something wrong. he has a huge soft spot for them and they could do anything, he wouldn't mind. he would probably sigh and hope for the best, but a worried scolding would be the most they would receive.

 

he watches over them with paternal eyes, helping them rise up and face the world. he can be quite forceful sometimes but it's only to help. he can't hurt them. he's always smiling softly at them and he is always ready to lend a helping hand, to listen to their problems. he's almost a father more than a leader and he trusts all of them. he'd do anything for them. the sears are his priority and he's extremely dedicated to them. he doesn't like hurting them so when they betray them, he can't seem to be able to punish them too harshly. however, they're also his biggest weakness : touch any member of his gang and you'll see who he really is.

taehoon is a puppet master, someone who controls the game he plays. he knows exactly how he should act and how he should hide. when he's not with the members of sears, he is a different man. he shows himself as someone plain, someone random you'd meet on the street and forget a second later - people think of him as an innocent lamb who's still a child in an overgrown body. but oh, taehoon is far from being innocent. he is the head of sears and knows how to act as such. he's been given this role by the previous head because the man knew exactly what he was capable of. he is extremely intelligent, more than usual being as he's categorized as a genius. his ability to analyze things is more developed than other people.

 

he's a man who prefers observing and laying low, only to strike at the best opportunity. sometimes, he thinks of himself more as a snake than a fox. he hides behind a soft smile, listening to everything. since he looks so innocent, people talk around him, they don't feel threatened. when he has a target in mind, he will never back down. he'll collect everything - he's a perfectionist and he doesn't like surprises, that's why he collects so much. he analyzes all possibilities and like a perfect chess player, always has several moves planned beforehand. try to surprise him or take him down and you'll see that he already knew what you wanted and worked to overtake you. the soft sear turns into a smirking leader when he reaches his goal, and people have been shocked by the murderous aura surrounding him when this happens.

taehoon always considers the sears before himself. what he does, he does it for the sears and they're his priority. but at some point, he also likes to think of himself. when he's alone, he's a lot more peaceful. he likes to spend his time reading or listening to music when he can. he also loves games and challenges - he gets all fired up whenever you challenge him. this is also why he often gets very excited when he is required to use his talents to hunt someone down. he never backs down from a verbal fight and has quite the big ego, which is also one of the reasons the godlings are still so weary of him.

 

he also enjoys carnal pleasure a lot. introduced to this world by the flowers he knew, he's never one to refuse , especially with them. he knows what he likes and he's not ashamed of it. he almost provokes ual encounters when he feels the person is receptive to his charms, but doesn't force anyone. he's a boy still playing with dolls but he respects them at least. he thinks of all this as a drama, a play - a game and a challenge ; somehow he fails to realize the dangers, that after the game over, there is no restart button.

 

 

 

BACKGROUND 

when taehoon was a kid, he heard from the older boys that he had been rejected by his parents, that they didn't want him. that's why he was found in front of the orphanage on a snowy new year's day and taken in by the ladies in charge. he hasn't more than a few hours old but he was already close to dying of hypothermia. in the end, they managed to save him. they named him, gave him a home and a life. as years passed by, taehoon became a victim of bullies, children hitting him and making fun of him for being so small and gullible. they stole his food and called him names, saying he would never get adopted. the young kid watched without saying a word, hoping for it to stop. 

 

somehow, when he reached the age of ten, the bullies seem to forget about him. new kids had arrived: younger, more naive, much better victims. taehoon watched as they hit them and insulted them in turn, he listened to them crying themselves to sleep. they were too young to understand why those boys were so mean - but taehoon wasn't stupid. he could get it and he hated seeing children suffering because of boys who had no self-confidence. he was the one who picked up the pieces, soon mastering basic medic skills thanks to one of the ladies who helped him. he took care of the children, patched them up and watched with a warm heart how they looked up to him like they would to an older brother. he wanted to protect them more, so one day, he decided to step up for them. he was still small and weak, so he knew he had to use his intelligence. it was during this period that he realized that being plain made him become unnoticed. he played silently next to the bullies, hearing them speak, using their chores time to sneak in their room and observe their belongings, read their journals. he sneaked into offices to read files and find something on them, before putting a little note under their pillow. those notes were secrets they had kept in journals, events they had kept for themselves and only the directors knew of. at first, talks of a ghost started, until taehoon let out one of those secrets one day. when the bully understood it was him, he threatened him - only to turn pale at the sickly smirk on taehoon's face. he shook as taehoon listed his habits, his likes, his past with details. the young boy loved seeing the bully so scared. it was... nso exciting.

 

the bullying stopped and the older boys became scared of what taehoon could do. the kid loved this new power but he soon turned away from it to focus on the other children. during the next three years, he helped him, protected them and cared for them as if they were his siblings. he didn't want to be adopted, he had found his family. he watched sadly as they were all adopted, one by one, replaced by other kids he cared for as well. when he was thirteen, the directors of the orphanage announced that it closed its doors. the children would be sent to different orphanages around the country. taehoon started panicking. they would all be separated! yet, he couldn't do anything. as the first children left, taehoon found himself fleeing from the orphanage, running in the streets of the city until he stopped in a dark alley. he felt so lost. a hand suddenly appeared in front of his face and he looked up to see a young teen, probably around 16. the boy promised him a world with no adults, with kids to take care of without them being taken away. taehoon was seduced. so he took the hand given to him and entered the family. he travelled with the boy until he reached the area where the boys where beginning to build their new world. he helped them and joined the sears. and seven years and a growth spurt later, here we are.

KANG YOUNGHYUN ; "would you like to play a game?" 

both of them arrived around the same time. when younghyun joined the boys, he was 13, just like taehoon. he was clumsy and childish, he didn't think too much about what was going on. just like taehoon, he took this as a life-sized game and he's one of the reasons hoon is still stuck in his fantasies - though younghyun truly feels like peter pan and doesn't want to grow up. as the years passed, they got closer and they can't live without the other. they're best friends and even with taehoon becoming the head, it didn't change.

 

even if there is no ranking among the sears, taehoon thinks of younghyun as some kind of advisors and he put him in charge of the finances of the gang. younghyun is the one finding out ways to get money for everything they need. he's the most likely to go in the city for the non-dangerous missions, though taehoon likes to have his friend stay with him.

 

    

 

 

FLOWERS, THE PRINCE & JO HANBYEOL (KUPURITAMA) ; "let me show you a whole new world"

it may seem bizarre and unexpected but taehoon has quite a reputation among the members of flowers. it's the gang he is the closest to considering he happened to work with some of them back when he arrived. since both are in charge of medical stuff, he was sent on errands to the top floors. he grew up treating flowers with dignity and not judging them, earning their trust as years passed. he also became rapidly friends with one of them, who would become the prince a few years later. he's as close to him as he is to younghyun, really, even a bit closer for their relationship has not stayed platonic.

 

when the prince reached the age of seventeen, he started seducing taehoon, who was not insensible to his charms. they ended with a friends with benefits kind of relationship, for feelings aren't their forte. taehoon is known amongst the flowers for being the prince's only favorite outside flowers, as he says it himself. the prince likes to sneak up on the rooftop at night just to have with him and would sometimes end up cuddling with the warm giant who would not be in the mood for it. they're comfortable together, having fun teasing each other and they're the most likely to cooperate.

 

the flowers had a hard time accepting him at this point, feeling as if he had betrayed their trust by stealing their prince, until said boy told them to try it out for themselves. as of now, taehoon has slept with several flowers members, who realized that since he was able to read body language so well, he could immediately know what they wanted at the moment and give them a wonderful round of - that plus he never pushes their boundaries nor judge them for anything they do or did in the past. therefore, his reputation in flowers is the one of a great lover boy and they all like him.

 

 

among the flowers, though he has met a lot, he does have some whose company he enjoys more. jo hanbyeol is one of them. pure curiosity led the boy to his bed after hearing tales of his 'performances' from the prince and rumors about him from other people. he ended up with a very nice surprise. however, when taehoon found himself opening his door for hanbyeol, it was mostly for conversation. the sear liked the younger boy and found him fascinating. he noticed easily hanbyeol's potential and may or may not have voluntarily brought up the godlings in their conversations when he realized the younger male was a lot more attentive when the gang was mentioned. to him, it was only a question of time before the incident happened and he was neither surprised nor judging when he heard the news. even now, he still appreciates meeting hanbyeol when the godlings reunite and is never one to deny him a conversation in the comfort of his room - and even more if hanbyeol wants it. 

 

[ if anyone plans to apply as the prince, it can be tweaked to fit or even refer to a previous prince who he'd think of as such, which would also be better if you have an underage prince in mind, taehoon doesn't corrupt children lol, he only has with those over seventeen. also, i used monsta x lee minhyuk as a potential prince but it's just my bias showing.] 

 

 

 

    

RESISTANCE & T-25 ; "let's not get involved with each other."

taehoon isn't really involved with the other two gangs, apart when he needs to collect information. he's very neutral towards t-25, though he personally doesn't like their ways and tries to make sure s aren't involved with them directly. however, he respects their members but it doesn't want to get too close. he does envy their endless wish for happiness though.

 

resistance is another thing. the members of sears are easily disliked for their weak physical strength by the members of resistance, considering the latters live of strength. if their relationship is usually cleared of fights, it seems resistance holds a particular dislike towards the fox. taehoon never really understood why, but he guessed it was because they couldn't believe a leader would be physically weak. he also tries not to mingle too much with their members but always answers when s are being provoked.

 

that way, only the high-ranked members of resistance (and t-25) know that he is the head, he chose to keep his identity a secret to preserve the 'apparently non-lethal' part of his role. he is neutral with their boss, they actually respect each other a lot considering they've been there for a while and have proved their worth, and the boss of resistance knows not to mess with taehoon. he actually likes the spine as well, but his relationship with the high-ranked members of resistance and t-25 is a purely plationic camaraderie.

 

    

his relationship with the godlings is quite... particular. he has to meet them considering he's also part of the outer godlings but both parties are wary of each other. taehoon knows what they are capable of and the godlings know exactly what taehoon could do if he wanted to. taehoon is a danger the godlings keep in check, while the latter let them do so with a smile.

 

as for now, he doesn't mean them harm because they didn't do anything against him, so he stays put and respects the hierarchy. he respects most members of the godlings for they are high-ranked and he knows it's what he should do. he has a high esteem of the oldest godlings for he knows they've been around for a while and some of them were probably previous leaders. 

 

 

REPUTATION he's been here since the very beginning, so everyone knows him by now, either because they've been here since the beginning as well or because they grew up seeing him around. he is also one of the oldest boys out there, all gangs included, therefore he is very high in ranking, only topped by the members of godlings. he is loved by sears (most of them at least), who have all grown up knowing him, he is also respected by flowers and hold in high esteem by them. he is disliked by resistance except the high-ranked members and is neutral to t-25. 

 

when it comes to godlings, it's a bit different according to the members. they all respect him a lot considering he's the head of sears and most of them know him. the inner godlings in charge of recruitment hold a bit of a grudge towards him considering he accepted to join the outer godlings when they had expected them to join the inner godlings (as if he hadn't noticed their schemes), but those who had been there the longest knew that he just didn't want to give up on the sears' members.

 

amongst sears, he has the reputation of a father-like person, of someone you can rely on. amongst flowers, he is close to a master and rumors of unheard before performances are heard (which amuses him a lot because he doesn't even know how half of them could even be possible). for those who know him just as taehoon, he is a dorky nerd who's really tall but doesn't do much, he's the plain member no one notices. for those who know him as the head and have seen him at work (and the general 'fox' reputation), he is said to be a dangerous person that should not be underestimated and that he knows way more than he actually says.

 

LIFE IN SEARS when he arrived a few years back, he was in charge of medical supplies. considering he was still young and he had treated the orphans before, he knew what to do and was eager to learn more. when he grew up, the head realized he knew a bit too much what was happening inside the sears and he understood taehoon's potential. the boy hadn't forgotten his past at the orphanage and how he had taken care of the boys, how he had fought the bullies. 

 

he began gathering intel thanks to the previous head when he was 15 and he became one of the best elements in a matter of months. the head trusted him to supervise and help those who gathered intelligence.

 

he eventually took over when the head decided to join the inner godlings, he was 18. he did his best to maintain this loose hierarchy because it felt like what a family would be. with his help, the sears prospered and he is loved by all of them for the way he manages them. they also realized he was more keen on protecting them than the previous head. but even then, the sears know he is not as harmless as he looks.

 

he is respected by everyone for his high rank among the boys.
