personality.  hyemi has a set picture of what she wants to do throughout life in her head, as her parents had taught her so. so when that set picture isn't always painted the way she likes it, she becomes a bit argumentive and tries to change it to her liking, however she's very slow in realising that what has been painted out for her is what will help her in the future. in the end, she always agrees with what has been painted out and will follow the lead, however this was a challenge throughout her early trainee years. she learnt later on that as well as it is to be outspoken, sometimes you just need to go with the flow. she also tries to do everything perfectly, but once again she learnt that that can be impossible at times.
when she's not being her critical self, you can find hyemi being cheerful, often trying to bring the mood up of her fellow members. due to being a trainee for a long time, she wants to let her members know that its okay to be sad, but you should always smile. she isn't the funniest member, or the most cheerful but she always tries to be as energetic as her fellow members because they always look like they're having fun, and she wants to have fun too.
hyemi is often told that she's surprising, and that's what makes her captivating. hyemi has always been small. her movements have been small, her body has been small and she is told to have 'small' thinking, yet when she sings her voice becomes big, and it makes it seem like she's big. her strong voice is her best charm and when she sings she feels on top of the world. 

background.  how did their background influence them?

hyemi always lived in a small neighbourhood on jeju island, and apart from chores she had to do she didn't have much to do. instead, she sang. for the first few years of her life, it was spent waking up, going to school, coming home and doing chores, singing and then sleeping. every day for those first few years she did that, and from practicing, she learnt that she had an amazing voice.
when she was six, she was rushed over to seoul due to new jobs opening up, and both her father and mother needed some high paying jobs. hyemi wasn't used to the big city, so instead of going out to karaoke and resturants with the rest of her friends, hyemi spent her time singing. she entered the choir and many more singing related school activities while at school and she was the choir teacher's favourite singer. she got teased for being a 'country bumpkin' and they called her stereotypical things, as well as saying that instead of going to resturants she hunted for her food.
the choir girls were her only friends and many of her choir friends had talked about jyp, sm and yg but it wasn't until her friends pushed her to try out at one of them.
hyemi was still just a country girl who had no idea about the city even at the age of 13, and her voice was her last hope. luckily the judges liked her voice, and when the role of artemis, goddess of hunt was laid upon her she smiled. she smiled because she could look back and think that her past, being the country bumpkin who hunted for her food was a positive part of her life which lead her to be here, standing on jyp grounds.

– she wants everything to be perfect, and will often stay in the practice rooms to get either her dances right or her high notes right.

-- she has a pet cat called tinsel at home and her mum sends a picture of tinsel to hyemi everyday
-- hyemi is close to all the members but she wants to/is close to hana.
-- hyemi is quite athletic due to doing chores most of her life and she wishes to participate in isac.
-- her mum recently divorced hyemi's father and her mother has moved back to jeju, leaving hyemi to feel homesick a lot.

– olympia member :: heo hana (19) / idol / sarcastic, loud, friendly, / hyemi likes someone she can joke around with, and hana is that person. hyemi often teases hana about how short she is, just because hyemi was always the shortest in her class and now someone else is shorter than her. i feel like the two would be really close, maybe like how jessica and tiffany were back in the days? good friends, that type of thing.

last words.  i really love the idea of this group, and i'm excited for it!! also, i didnt add a love interest because im not too interested in romance, instead hyemi is the type to tease others for it and she's the ultimate wingwoman!

– hyemi isn't doing too well with a dance move, so she asked for some help from the other girls
