So I got into covers again cause I'm too lazy to do vlogs. ( a.k.a i sing so give me your attention/love/youtubemoney but jk bout the latter. )

So yeah.

I haven't done much K-Pop yet, or recorded anything worth posting. What I actually usually do for K-Pop covers is find an english translation and rewrite lyrics with the generic meaning so it can be sung over the instrumental easier. While the lyrics diverge from their initial meaning, they make much more sense on a beat standpoint and bla bla bla I'm not a music pro don't ask me how that works.

For now, I have an old thing I recorded on my phone and, hopefully, two covers that might or might not be posted by the time I post this.

I wish to say that I do not edit my voice much. What I mean by that is that what is in the song is pretty much raw, trial and error. The only thing that is modified is when I actually do takes, so I will do multiple takes for parts, a.k.a what you call '' editing magic ''. Like in the '' Punch Drunk '' cover, one of my background vocals at the end was kind of too long for the breath I have ( short breath, bronchitis and asthma kinda bs ? but also cause higher notes sung that way really ruin your breath easily ) is blended together from two parts but in NO WAY vocoded or autotuned cause it's the devil. ( Punch Drunk will, in the end, not be available because of copyright reasons. )

But it also explains why it might sound raw.

I record with Adobe Audition CS6, along with a Blue Yeti microphone ( and yes it really is as good as advertised if used right ). I have zero mixing abilities. I edit ( if you can call that editing ) the videos with Sony Vegas 10.
