Piano vs Violin

So pianos and violins, both nice elegant looking instrument that produces smoothing calm music.  

Piano

a large musical instrument with a keyboard that you play by pressing black and white keys and that produces sound when small hammers inside the piano hit steel wires.

Violin

a bowed stringed instrument having four strings tuned at intervals of a fifth and a usual range from G below middle C upward for more than 41⁄2 octaves and having a shallow body, shoulders at right angles to the neck, a fingerboard without frets, and a curved bridge.

I just want to let out the feels and emotions I experience while listening to them. (I know most of you will just ignore this blog but I just want to let it out so I will). Well, these both instruments are quiet different but there is something they have in common, which is being an instrument duh. Sorry that was just a joke but hey, that's true though. Anyway, what I'm trying to say they have this similiar thing to them (which I don't know how to explain clearly in words) and violins and pianos go along quiet well. I've always wanted to know how to play the piano professionally (I miss my old keyboard T.T ) and also lear the violin. It's still one of my dreams that I'm not letting go of. Moving forward, what I actually wanted to say was that hearing these instruments being played, both of them give me different kind of emotional feels. 

 

Well, let's first see the piano. My bae. :") Hearing the piano being played, it sometimes make me think a lot. I think about life (and basically going all deep, but I'm not that deep  lol). Sometimes it could make me feel even more depressed but it would also help me through the tough times the other times. I don't know whether you get what I'm trying to say...  Pianos make me sad and emotional really easily. It helps me to reflect on things. The notes are mostly supposed to calm people but piano notes doesn't really help me be calm. It just makes me feel emotional and sometimes I feel breathless. It like brings out my inner emotions out to the surface which I guess is good once in a while. Don't get the wrong idea, I'm not saying I don't like pianos. I love them.

Moving on, violins. They're my sweetheart. Unlike the pianos that make me think about things deeply and refelect on things, violins help me to calm. They tug at my heartstrings when I hear them being played. Everytime I hear them, goosebumps rise. Violins relaxes my thoughts alot. So I guess a mix of piano and violin would help me alot. But to be honest, no matter how much I love violins and pianos, there are still music styles in which they are played which just makes my head go boom. Sometimes due to the style it could give me a headache. So I guess there are ups and downs to even instrument lilke these. However, I love them very deeply. As if they're my life. My family and friends. Love you people who are like muses to. (that was quiet random haha ^^;;) Before I go, I'll drop here two videos that I recommend you guys to check. Honestly speaking there were a lot I would love to recommend, but guess I can do that some other time. >3<

You precious baby~ Violins and Pianos, they are both extremely hard instruments to learm. But i know, one day you'll be able to do it! ^^ Its also a dream of mine. To play the piano and the violin. Well in my case, the harp too xD Im not all that great on the piano since i taught myself. Zero on basics lol. And the violin, im clueless. I self taught a few songs but I doubt i remember them...I have bad memory when it comes to making my brain learn music...tehe~ ;P Lets not get started on a harp...
Well point is, i know exactly how you feel. They both are such wonderful instruments and honestly, I cant even imagine picking one. They both make such sweet, calm and heavenly music its hard to resist. They make you feel things you never imagined you could feel. Listening to them is like an emotional roller coaster ride. But not a bad one. Because in the end, you feel relived. As if a big burden has been lifted off your shoulders.
Remember on the trip, when i played the grand piano? Let me tell you, playing a song on the grand piano, it felt so amazing. As cheesy as this sounds, i felt like i was flying. As if i was walking on clouds. I was so immersed in playing, i didnt even know. The feeling is unimaginable and inexpressable. Maybe its just me, but i can tell you it was a wonderful experience. And I want you to know this feeling. So i'll help you learn a song, but i cant teach you the piano, sadly. I want to play a song with you :') And i hope the day we play comes soon. I look forward to that day! :D

You precious bubble, I know you'll do it one day :'') I'll go with you if we're going somewhere to learn on day. And maybe both of us can mix those piano and violin sounds together x3 And yeah, this is all so true...

My mother and both of my brothers play the piano(my youngest brother is actually a freshman in college heading towards a degree in music) and piano music can be very nice :) I love violins! I love the sound of them :) JunCurryAhn! I actually have gotten to see twice, both at KCON, and I was able to get my picture with him :) He is GOOD.

I see your point here. Yes, the piano allows us humans to realize the world beyond our view, the 4th dimension, time, space, matter. The piano is the way most try to think deeper. Yet the violin is such a simple instrument with so many ways to think in it. It calms one, it heals souls, and most of all, it allows you to relax. I know, I must be spouting some nonsense crap here, but I think that your blog post really should be noticed more. It allows one to use their brain and rack for pieces of information they didn't want to look for before. Thank you for the interesting, yet unfortunately short, blog post. ^-^
