cheon yiseul acts like a pillar of support for the girls, she's very observant and even notices the little characteristics in others that they themselves wouldn't notice. she's especially good at reading and reacting to other's body language, knowing right away if someone dear to her is having a rough day just by looking at their eyes, or the way their fingers twiddle with anxiety. but nobody knows how she does it, she's hard to read, it's not that she's emotionless, more as if she's collected. one of the reasons why she's so easily approachable, the aura around her is very welcoming. sure she isn't the most outgoing or humorous, but people love hanging around her because she's so chill and you'll be able to talk about anything with her. she has a way with her words that's so smooth and charming, people might say that she is quite the smooth talker. she will never admit it though. she's one to get shy when people compliment her and she doesn't think much of it, she'd rather hear that she's intelligent, or compassionate. 

due to her collectiveness, she's very passive, but to a certain extent. she usually doesn't mind other people's businesses unless they involve her, but she'll rarely try to meddle and get involved. she'll let a lot of things go and isn't necessary forgiving, but she just won't bring it up, definitely a major setback to her personality, jaewon often gets angry and says that others will take advantage of her. but yiseul says that she hates arguing and fighting. 

although, there are times when she can be blunt, and a little too honest. if you are asking her for an honest opinion about something she will not sugarcoat it for you. it may come off as harsh and rude sometimes, but its just because of her passive nature that she has to have another way of being a bit more aggressive, which is through opinions.

yiseul is definitely passive, but as mentioned, only to a certain extent. and she has certain exceptions as well. when it comes down to business and working with professionals, yiseul will voice her opinion very often and if she doesn't believe a certain idea will work with her members, she will become hard headed and stick to what she believes. others may see it as being bossy, but all in all, she just wants to do what's best for the girls. despite that, yiseul does indeed work very hard and what she's asked to do and tries to surpass expectations, of course that doesn't happen everytime but she believes that she should have no regrets in doing what she loves.

honestly speaking, this is very expected of yiseul, being so laid back and all. but she is very lazy when it has nothing to do with practices, or anything related to work. when it comes to chores though, she is the laziest person out there. this little brat always complains about wanting to hang out with friends, but ends up bailing because she's always lazy to get out. sometimes it gets to the point where it doesn't seem like she even cares about anything, when she's lazy she gets very sloppy and there is the rare time where this carries on into practices as well. 

background.  

yiseul was brought up in a family filled with men, she didn't get to see her mother as often because her parents had divorced a few years after she was born and has since then remarried. her and her father were fairly close though, he used to be in an indie band before getting married and still enjoys music, hence where yiseul's love for music begun.

being an idol was never yiseul's main vision towards her future. as a baby she's always enjoyed music, and as she grew older her love for music began to grow, although she was more intrigued in the making of it. she loved the whole idea of composing and that was her biggest strength. she often composed little melodies with her father and brothers on the guitar, both of her brothers were apart of a band with their friends just as their father was in the past. yiseul often made appearances and sang in the streets with them, or simply accompanied them with her guitar or ukulele

when she was around 15 was when she had thoughts of becoming an idol, she knew that if she wanted to get somewhere in life she would have to start immediately and she shouldn't waste any time. though it was difficult, she was able to squeeze into the being one of the many trainees under jyp despite the fierce competition.

– composed a short song with her brothers called 'tears like leaves' which is basically a comedical song (like akmu) expressing all the times yiseul cried as a child whenever she was away from her father
– she eats like a guy- she has a bottomless stomach that will always go for seconds
– out of all the members, yiseul loves playing with hana's hair the most because she says it's really healthy and easy to manage so whenever she does little braids or whatever, its easier for her to do

relationships.

yiseul and her mother aren't as close as she'd like them to be. her mother being remarried with a new child, yiseul, although jealous, was understanding of it. times she spent with her mother after her parents had divorced were very little as they would only meet to go out to eat, or when yiseul visits the library. yiseul texts her from time to time, updating her mother on her life but other than that, they show no interactions.

growing up, yiseul was attached to her father's hip at all times. as cheesy it is to say, she is daddy's little princess. the two get along fairly well and yiseul is never afraid of telling him things and generally would never hide things from him. he is very supportive of her decision of becoming idol and often calls her to check up on her during her training.

despite being the older twin, yiseul treats him as if he's younger. he loves to tease and play pranks on yiseul and she often tries to get revenge but fails miserably. the two are like tom and jerry, bickering everyday about the smallest of things, but by the end of the day he cares for her more than anyone. 

– older brother :: cheon taehyuk (23) / uni student/member of indie band / collected, introverted, laid back / 9/10 /
as the younger twin, he often likes to stay out of trouble, which is why he's yiseul's favorite. she looks up to him and will often go to him for music inspiration. he's often the one pulling jaesuk's ear when yiseul is being teased, he's very protective over her so when she said she wanted to become an idol he was a bit iffy, but he only wants her to be happy.

yiseul's best friend ever since middle school, as kids the two were attached by the hip and in high school they probably weren't seen without one or the other. she's a sister to yiseul and she is beyond grateful for seola. the two can just lay on opposite sides of the bed and have a conversation that'll go on forever.

trainee life.  yiseul began her training around 2014, honestly she didn't stand out much from the rest who were very flamboyant with dancing and singing skills. but she was known to be one who was a very consistent trainee that constantly kept on improving every evaluation. yiseul went most of her trainee years without a problem and made friends with the others.
