insomnia

warning: strong language ahead, kiddos.

so, idk if it's actually insomnia but like, i can't get to sleep easily anymore and when i do manage to sleep, i wake up at four in the in' morning and it takes me two hours to get back to sleep, and then my alarm wakes me up and i'm grumpier than my cat and want to hurt something. and then, to top it off, i'll sometimes wake up completely terrified and have no idea why, or sometimes i'll have nightmares that are so ed up that i can't sleep again and then i cri. again.

so, that's my life rn and why i kinda stopped with everything for a bit and why i technically had a hiatus without letting anyone know because i am a terrible person with these things and i'm sorry but like, i have so many things to catch up on and idk if i can do it so. yeah.

This is a stupid question, I know, but have you tried doing the things you'd normally do if you wanted to go to sleep? Like turning the lights off or drinking a warm glass of milk or something or listening to classic, soothing music? 'Cause if you have and none of those things work, then maybe you need to go see a doctor and get a prescription for that. Insomnia can get pretty serious if neglected because sleep is as important as eating the right kinds and amount of food and hygiene and all those physiological needs.
