PERSONALITY:
Let's see the warmer, more likeable side of Bang Chanmi before we get to the scary stuff. There are perks with being a hot head like her... She's passionate. Yes, that's the word passionate. Very enthusiatic when it comes into jumping into new things. Chanmi is always one of the most energetic even when the girls on running low on food and sleep. She manages to push them through with her intense desire to do something. Sitting around let's her over think, and that never leads to good things.

No matter what the antis will say about her; Chanmi really hates showing skin. Hence why when she can, she'll be wearing loose, baggy clothing (of course that ends up getting her called a prude but it's better than a ). It's necessarily that she thinks showing skin it disgusting, and she won't deny watching y performances. Showing skin simply isn't her thing, she feels cold and uncomfortable. Along with being modest clothes wise, despite her loud personality, she isn't one to show off her vocals or skills. On variety, it's a game between the other girls to embarrass her with compliments (of course at times it might not even be their choice, but Jiae's).

Bang Chanmi has had a weird switch of personality ever since the Carnation joined. When asked on interviews, it's usually said that since Carnation joined, Chanmi has been considerably calmer. Despite how some of the others have reacted to Carnation, the new girl has turned out to be the one person that can soothe Chanmi. Ever since, Chanmi has been more... Controllable. Some would say that's the only good thing that Carnation has brought to the group. Of course, Chanmi would say otherwise (explained further in relationships).

Chanmi's life motto is "Don't trade authenticity for approval." A main reason to why she's not afraid to let her temper and overal hatrd for everything show. It's better than lying all the times though. Think about it, you could have person that is likeable in ever, but then turn out to be an absolute fake. Or... you could have real person, with real feelings, flaws, relatable, someone true for fans to see and look up to, because they manage to work past their flaws and survive all this dramatic crap.

So, how does she handle all this dramatic crap anyway. Other than internally (and at times externally) screaming about it, she's got a few methods she picked up from her twin brother; organizing. Both of them are very neat and orderly people. While she may be far from a motherly figure unlike the Rose, if something's missing, Chanmi is bound to be able to find it. That or she's known where it was from the start. They sometimes jokingl call her the maid of 꽃소녀, but honestly if it wasn't her, who else would clean for 13 girls?

Aside from Taehyun, Chanmi is the other oposing force against Jiae. Even in her sleep she's ready to fight Jiae. Afterall, aside from the CEO, Chanmi doesn't her like her that much. Especially what the two do to her and the group. She yell and scream about how she couldn't care less for them, but screaming at their manager seems to say otherwise. However, it isn't only the manager that gets to face her aggression. Anyone that has anything to say better say it to her face and prepare for a fight. 꽃소녀, her friends, her family, her managers, the CEO, her fans, her antis. Everyone.

Though for the most part it's pretty easy to figure out what Chanmi is usually angry or bitter about, there are times when it seems she's angry for no apparent reason. Mainly due to the fact no one really knows (or are too scared to ask) why. Not like that would get an actual answer, for the most part she has a had a tendency to keep to herself when it comes to these kinds of problems. This is also a reason towards why people often assume she's just an angry person, because she refuses to share any actual reasons.

Does Bang Chanmi feel more than anger? Well of course, she is a human being afterall. Not only does she feel anger, but happiness, excitement, jealousy, hopefulness. A feeling that has not yet been confirmed she feels? Sentimentality, is one of them. To be honest others kind of hate her for it. When she's not disappointed or sad when they don't win anything. Does she not care enough? Is she ever sad? If so, it's not during the sad scenes in dramas or movies, or when one of their members is hurt or sad, or when the management tries to punish by taking something away.

It shouldn't be too surprisingly that Chanmi is used to being control. As the oldest in her family, it was expected that she was always to be put in charge. However, among the 13 other girls of 꽃소녀, Chanmi has found herself around the fourth or fifth oldest, basically a middle child. While she still has her many dongsaengs to be be able to control without too much question, she does tend to have problem with the authority of the elder girls. The only one that she has actually listened to without giving an attitude or compliant would be Gladioulus. Even Chanmi understands she has to respect the leader of the group.

What kind of attitude does Chanmi give Rose and Lotus anyway? Sarcasm, because it's easier to get caught when you're yelling. It almost always involves language, because she "ing felt like it". Most people are so used to her sarcasm that they think it might just be the way she talks. Carnation is only one not used to it. Before Carnation had joined, everyone had assumed that the more sarcastic she was, the more she liked you. Apparently, she just uses sarcasm because she "ing can and therefore ing will" (this section of why is better explained in the background).

If she didn't seem mean and broody enough, well then here comes the actual bad . This is the main reason to why she's called 꽃소녀's hot head or Ice Queen; her temper. Chanmi has a lot of... pet peeves, a lot. It could take a mere two minutes for her to hate someone, hell she could hate someone purely by how they drink water. It's the little things that piss her off, it's the big things that make her want to murder someone. As much as she doesn't like, she knows she can't always be angry at everyone. That doesn't mean she tries to be understanding, heck no, it means she isolates herself a lot when she can because then the only person she can be angry at is herself.

Isolation isn't always the best solution. Okay, rephrase that; isolation is never the best solution. In isolation, you get to be alone with just yourself and your thoughts. In Chanmi's case, her really really hateful thoughts. As said before, many pet peeves, and even more dislikes (read hates). Sadly, the situation with the agency doesn't make it any better. They all assume the same thing; Chanmi's mentally ill. Because of that, she's almost never acknowledged, they say it's because her fault. She scares people away, even the instructors or too scared to be in same room as her because she'll snap. So Chanmi just sits and suffers in her bitterness alone.

"Is there every a bright side? And is it actually that bright?"

"Good news my , what's the bad news?"

"Didn't think we could fall deeper in hell."

These are just a few examples of how Bang Chanmi has managed to drag the rest of 꽃소녀 into her funk. After 9 years or facing the harsh reality of the idol/trainee life, as well as her own miserable school life. Chanmi believes that a bright side doesn't true exist. There's always a catch, always some truth being hidden. She wasn't going to indulge herself when there was definitely more than meets the eye. No, there's always a downside.

Most of it is due to her large imagination. This large imagination of hers always tends to make situations terrible, even if they do seem good. The little annoying voice inside her head will always find someway to warp reality. Go "behind the scenes" to how anything this good could possibly happen. Everything is always the worst case scenario, sometimes worse.

Now, does she do a good job at expressing how she feels. Definitely not? Does she do a good job at hiding how she feels? Hell no. Another reason why she's been dubbed the ice queen of 꽃소녀? Her constantly bitter expression and resting face. While there are some that are irritated by the fact she never seems to be happy, some will joke that it's her persona.

"Ah, look at our ice queen, bitter as usual!"

"Okay, (insert ship name) are fighting, what did Rose do to her wifey this time, she being herself again!"

"Tag yourself, I'm red head Elsa."

BACKGROUND: 
Despite what it may always seem like, Chanmi tries to lead a peaceful life. Afterall, she just can't stand violence. Or angry people, they piss her off almost as much as hypocrites. Hypocrisy makes her watch to punch someone in the face...

Seriously though, plop Chanmi back in her home in Gunsan. With the amount of kids her parents had adopted, her home way practically a foster home. Her only blood-related sibling was her younger twin brother, Jisang. As the two oldest of the house of many kids, they were the ones in charge.

Chanmi watched her own personal life ebb away. Back when it was her and Jisang, she used to do things. Chanmi played ice hockey, she was on the team for barely a year before she had to quit. While her family wasn't necessarily poor, for the amount of people they had to pay for money wasn't a luxuary. The kids were all too young to work, so their parents were always out working and making money. It was Chanmi and Jisang's job to take care of the kids. This is where her dominating personality comes from, while Jisang was the one in charge of chores like cooking and cleaning. Chanmi was the on in charge, she had everyone's schedules and tutored them when they were having hard times. She was the one that had to go and talk to the teachers. 

Jisang was always to soft on the kids. Chanmi understood though; she knew that they could have the luxuary of having friends over or going to parties. That when for the little ones as well. She was always "the bad guy" because in the end, it was always Chanmi that had to put her food down. She was the one that grounded the kids, or scolded them. At the same time, she was the one that  was reprimanded for being boring, told to listen up a little. By everyone really, especially her parents.

It always made Chanmi angry. As a result, she was an angry kid; because no one really understood did they. Her parents? Maybe if they didn't have to work all the time and saw what it was like at home with around 20 kids they'd know why she can't "go easy on them" or "loosen up a little". They didn't understand that if she went soft on them like Jisang, who was going to be the one that actually got things done around the house. Who would teach them how to cook or make them do chores and learn some responsibility in their life?

She was 10 when her parents began to get on her last nerves. They thought they found the solution to all their money problems, by applying to become an official foster home. Sure, they definitely weren't as low on money, but now there were even more kids and it didn't change their neverending work schedules a bit. Of course, due to their love for children they couldn't care less, afterall, it's not like they were the ones taking care of the kids were they? Jisang didn't mind it either, apparently an unconditional love for children so strong you'd neglect all common sense was a gene that was not passed to Chanmi.

Regardless, Chanmi helped. As new kids came; some reminded her a lot of herself. Others made her realize the importance the rest of her family held the kids to. Seo Jaekwang had been one of Chanmi's favorite little brothers (but don't tell the others). Jaekwang entered the foster home of Bang when his parents gave him up as a part of a teenage pregnancy program. He was one of the cutest, shyest kids in the world. He never had any outstanding talents, but always got complimented on his looks, and he was too shy to interact with their parents on the rare occasions.

However, as much as she loved Jaekwang. Bang Chanmi's favorite sibling of all time was Kim Ina. Ina joined the house when she was 6, and she was almost as angry as Chanmi. She scared away their brothers and sisters with her constant tantrums, once almost pushing Jaekwang down the stairs because he was too slow. Chanmi loved her because she understood. As she switched from multiple foster homes due to attitude issues, Ina was a bitter 6 year old and always told everyone in the house how bad of an idea this was. She knew that money didn't come out of thin air. Chanmi had simply told Ina that if they managed 5 years so far, they could manage another 5. Truth be told, Chanmi wasn't actually sure what made the girl so likeable to her. Maybe it was with another voice of reason around (and to become very overprotective over Jaekwang over) she suddenly felt a little less lonely.

The last straw; Chanmi was 12. Jaekwang was 8 and Ina was 7. Jaekwang, always the georgous one of the family, Chanmi had expect talent agencies wanting him as a model for years. She didn't expect they'd have any success, she knew her parents hated the entertainment industry because of how they treated people. However, she didn't expect Jaekwang to agree to it. He had only looked at her with his big sad puppy eyes and said, "At least I would be good at something..."

Kids these days, so bitter... Was the only thing Chanmi had thought.

She wasn't sad, no, she was furious. Afterall, as a minor even if he does want to join it does take the legal guardians signature on the contract to give them full permission ot take Jaekwang away. No one cried, while the rest of their siblings had barely known Jaekwang, Jisang had them to attend to. Chanmi had Ina's (and her own rage) to pretend to control. At night, when her mom returned from her shift she let her have it. Yelling everyone terrible word she could think of. Chanmi wasn't stupid, she knew the stories, she knew her mother knew the stories, and there she went and sent probably their most fragile, insecure kid to the sharks.

Chanmi's attitude encouraged Ina's, which made things take a turn for the worst. Knowing her record of not being the most peaceful in foster homes, as well as the numerous number of foster children, child services insisted there were to be cameras throughout the house. Ina's temper had been inexcusable this time and she was gone in less than week. Ina's relocation invoked the same reaction as Jaekwang's. 

Chanmi was gone in less than a month after Ina's relocation. Her grades were always top of the class. Afterall, who needs sleep when they have to study and take care of 20 plus children. She admittedly has a couple strange study methods, but they work so who's the real winner?

Naturally, over the years Chanmi had recieved offers for studies abroad. Of course she never took them, she had a life in Gunsan and wasn't planning on leaving. However, no other kids other than Jaekwang and Ina were ever taken away. Not Saeron, who recieved warnings from teachers all the time. Not Minhyuk, who refused to see the therapist. Not even Jinmyung, who even Chanmi couldn't help but flinch in her presence at times. Besides, everyone always told her the same things:

"You're not my mom unnie, stop telling me what to do!"

"Don't you have a life noona, where are your friends."

"I hate you! You're such a fun sponge."

"Can't you just go away, we have Jisang oppa."

So Chanmi listened to what they said. She left for France, in the program she joined she wasn't required to actually speak in French. In fact, that was the point of the program, a test of seeing how smart you really are by how well you adapt to different cultures. 

The "challenge" was fairly easy for Chanmi and she learned enough French to survive within the first year. Afterall, sleep is for the weak, and there were not kids clinging or yelling or distractions. Chanmi had a new life. Her temper was still a problem though, Asians weren't the most common ethic group to come across in Europe, a none English speaking country as well. Naturally, misconceptions were to be made. Naturally, they were going to piss Chanmi off. 

Yet, Chanmi still managed to live the peaceful life she wanted. Sure, she was still angry, but everyone gets angry and she can't (and won't) change that. She and her roommate for the next three years had a defined set of rules that neither would ever break. While people were scared of her, it meant that she wouldn't be given any problems.

Or at least, they weren't suppose to give her a problem. She was 15 when a familiar name started to circulate among her group of friends: Seo Jaekwang. He was 11 now, he was still in contract with Blossom, still georgous as ever. Chanmi was hoping she wouldn't have to think of Korea for a long while but with the news of Jaekwang coming to France for a campaign for the Korean-French bakery Tous les Jours. As luck would have it, both of them would be in Paris. 

Weekend of Jaekwang's arrival, Chanmi is yelling at his security guards that she's his sister until Jaekwang hears the commotion and gets his manager to let her in. Sunday night when she left him again for school, Chanmi swore that was the angriest she ever felt in her life. Physically, Jaekwang was perfectly fine, the company was actually feeding him and made sure he slept properly. Mentally, somehow he was worse with his insecurity issues, with had worsened to social anxiety. He had a therapist and his manager snuck him a few anxiety medications when they thought she wasn't looking.

Her newfound knowledge wasn't the only thing she gained from the visit to see Jaekwang. Chanmi's yelling attracted attention from many of the reporters that were there to cover Jaekwang's story, and a few hardcore Kpop fans that followed models as well. She soon found herself and Jaekwang going viral, Chanmi (or rather Seo Jaekwang's unnamed noona) found herself being called out for her "sisterly dedication". Jaekwang was asked about Chanmi a lot ever since, Jaekwang being the angel he was always said good things. 

Chanmi had predicted most of what would come. She expected the assult of questions her social media accounts. As well as the occasional #SeoBangSibling tage to pop up every now and then. What she had not expected, was an agent from Jaekwang's company, Blossom Entertainment, to come knocking on her door, offering her a contract. At first, she declined, seeing how her little brother's condition was she'd rather not. Sadly, the agent was quite persistent and gave her an offer she couldn't deny: she could watch over Jaekwang.

The brother and sister were reunited as they flew back to South Korea. Knowing of her fierce temper from France, the company had decided it was best to keep the two together to avoid a scandal of the company treating them cruelly. Chanmi was kept as an official trainee, gaining vocal lessons (she then went for private dance lessons at a local studio in Seoul).While they weren't together as often as Chanmi would have liked, it was better than never seeing them like she had for three years.

However, their contracts eventually expired. Jaekwang had been signed onto an 9 year contract, while Chanmi a 7 year so they'd leave together. Jaekwang, much to Chanmi's surprise, insisted on staying in the entertainment industry. He had simply given her a sad look and said. "Being pretty is the only thing I'm good for anyway." The next thing she knew, Jaekwang was signed under YGK+. Unlike with Blossom, it was harder for Chanmi to get herself to go to YGK+ as well, she hated the company with a passion, they just seemed too... Not good.

Chanmi knew quitting wasn't an option for her either however, her grades had dropped lower on her priorities list since she realized the actual amount of work it took as a trainee. Chanmi finds herself taking an offer from a new company: Bloom Entertainment. As far as she knew, they were a new forming company, so she thought what's the worse that could happen?

LIKES:

SPICY FOOD ✩ Not that it's ever actually that spicy but it's a good effort. She thinks non-spicy food doesn't have enough flavor in comparison to spicy food.

STUFFED ANIMALS ✩ A not so secret that is kept among the group. They all know of her collection of stuffed animals but are too scared to ask why. It's actually a habit she picked up from Gunsan, whenever a kid "outgrew" their stuffed animals she'd keep them because she didn't want to throw them out. Is often caught sleeping with at least one of them. (Because I found a Pinterest Board)

SHIN JIMIN, TOP ✩ Chanmi's two favorite rappers in the world. While Time in has a higher voice, TOP is the complete opposite but both are very powerful when delivering they lines. 

CACTI ✩ Another obsession of Chanmi the rest laebeenabk to explain the is as kids she and This any would sing a song about cacti to keep the kids quiet. Lyrics- 

"Cactuses, cactuses, I love cactuses.
Cactuses are my favorite animal."

STRANGERS ✩ It's always better for Chanmi to be around people she doesn't know rather than people she hates already. 
 

DISLIKES:

CHEWING GUM ✩ The managers had quickly realized to avoid an controversy they would have to find a way to keep Chanmi (and all her vulgarity) quiet. In order to keep themselves from being throttled, Taehyun came with a simple solution: chewing gum. If Chanmi looks like or has acted out, the managers will give her gum to chew until they say to stop. Chanmi doesn't fight it because Jiae threatened she'd come up with the punishment next time. While Taehyun opts for regular gum flavors like fruit or mint, Jiae will give her strange ones like wasabi or pickle.

VIOLENCE ✩ Believe it or not, this is the truth. Chanmi doesn't fight because she wants too, she's just so short-tempered she tends to lose control and goes biserk. While she might never express her regret for hurting someone, she hates to do so.

BEING UALIZED ✩ Luckily as far as she seen for the discography, nothing is too y but she's ready for something. She's heard is from Blossom Entertainment as well, that she had a good body. Chanmi has honestly never felt so flustered until they start to talk about things like that.

FAKE SKINSHIP ✩ Chanmi understands where it comes from, they have to look like a family; like their close. Sure, she won't mind the occasional hug or hand holding, but clinging or something that just seems over the top is a bit too much for her to be able to handle.

MOST PEOPLE ✩ Pretty self-expanatory reasons as she is a pretty easy person to piss off.

HOBBIES:

KNITTING ✩ Chanmi's been knitting for 8 years now, it was one of the first things she did upon returning to Korea. While she can knit an assortment of different things her favorites are socks and scarves. She likes it because it takes a bit of prescion but she can space out and think while knitting.

CALIGRAPHY ✩ While she doesn't practice as often, it's been a hobby since she was 10. Back then, she only had a gel pen but for her 20th birthday Jisang had bought her a traditional set. Everyone knows not to bother her if she's writing because it means two things: she's so angry she's trying to just stop thinking (and concentrate on caligraphy) and she'll be even angrier if you made her mess up.
 

HABITS:

GLARING ✩ Well it's not really a habit as much as it's her face. She tends to glare at people for no particular reason. It scares most people away so Chanmi is glad people don't come up to talk to her.

CHEWING GUM ✩ She gets in a lot of trouble with Jiae, another reason for her constant sour expressions, because bacon flavored gum is disgusting!

AVOIDING GAZES ✩ Chanmi has an attitude issue, she knows, the older line do to and tend to try talking to her, which just pisses her off. She'll avoid making eye contact with most people older than her to avoid confrontation.

TRIVIA:

✩ People can usually tell when she's exhuasted based on how easy she is to get along with and how affectionate she is. In fact, one time she had cold medicine before a variety show and accidentally took one meant for night, during the whole show she ended up clinging to daffodil and rose.

✩ Out of boredom, she has read her own Mature fanfiction. In all honestly, she doens't mind the shipping, but why does she always have to bottom, and HOW?!

✩ Chanmi's favorite member of the group is Carnation because she thinks she's very young and should be protected and her least favorite is Lotus because she hates her "older sister" role because that used to be Chanmi's role.

✩ Much to her disappointment, her biggest ship is with Lotus becase she's always dissing and talking to Lotus. Even stranger? In fanfic, Lotus and Chanmi often end up having a child in: the Carnation.

✩ Before debuting, Chanmi had never done aegyo before in her life, always been the oldest and her family never really did yaja time. When it comes up for the first time that she has to do aegyo, she doesn't exactly understand how.

✩ While Chanmi can cook, that was usually a job left to Jisang. With the girls, she usually takes charge of doing the laundry or cleaning around the dorms.

✩ Chanmi is petrified by loud noises and balloons due to an incident that happened when she was about 3; while lost at a birthday party she wandered into a room full a balloons. She ended up accidentally stepping on one and popping it. Alarmed, she ended up jumping onto another balloon, and another and another and another.

✩ Chanmi is one of the most likely to cheat on her diet, Jiae occasionally threatens her that her diet would consist of only chewing gum.

✩ Airplane rides are terrible for her because the sound of the loud engine, she often has a hard time falling asleep and ends up glaring out the window the whole ride.

✩ Back in France, Chanmi had dated a serveral guys, many of them ending up dumping her so she tries to avoid dating.

✩ Jaekwang is one of Chanmi's biggest supporters. Since she keeps contact with him over text he is usually the first one to tweet a congratulations out for any of her accomplishments.

✩ Chanmi sneezes like a kitten, so if you ever see her look like she's choking, it's most likely her holding in a sneeze.

✩ She's really prideful about her ability to take care of little children as it surprises people a lot. She hopes to one day have an appearance on Return of Superman.

✩ The only times the others have ever seen Chanmi cry is when she's listening to some of her favorite music. These songs includes The Manuel by Eddy Kim, Pray by BtoB, Remember by Apink, and Mistake by Drug Resturant.

✩ Every year on Christmas, as a gift to her family and herself, Chanmi sponsers a child in the Plan orginzation. She is currently sponsering 5 kids.

            Like with most people; Chanmi is aggressive around her little brother. However, with him around it's more of a mama bear type of aggressive. With his strong belief that his charming good looks are the only thing good about him; she can't help but be extremely overproctective of him. As both of them have busy schedules it's seldom that the two are to see each other in person. He always tries to see her when she goes on stage for promotions, however.

           Unlike the Carnation, that miraculously is able to calm Chanmi done, Jisang is just good at ignoring her anger. He has a loud motherly feel to him, not to mention his over affection for his twin sister. Being busy with med school, and Chanmi's own busy schedule the two haven't seen each other ina long time. Chanmi hopes to see him soon...

          Most of the other girls have the same opinions about Bang Chanmi: one, she absolutely terrifying, two she's a bit annoying. As much as her constant sarcasm and angry attitude scares them at the same time it makes seem immature and childish to them at time. From time as trainees they have learned how to keep her from getting ticked off but there are still the few rare occasions and fights. Hence why Chanmi isn't particularly close to anyone aside from the Carnation. Some fans will call her the 13th wheel of the group because of this. Also because she tends to keep her distance from the rest of the group when she can (reasons explained in trainee life).

          Chanmi isn't exactly sure how they came to be such good friends. Hell, she's not even sure how they met. While neither are known for being the kindest people in the world, they're known for being on the most badass pairs. Jessi and Chanmi constantly seen on each other's social medias with #Jessmi. While both may be busy with schedules they manage to work something out, and if that doesn't work out there's always social media. Their friendship has been since predebut as Chanmi met her back when Chanmi was in Blossom Entertainment, they do collabs occassionally.

          He tries to be nice and he tries to calm her down; Chanmi tries to appreciate the effort. While at times he may annoy her for treating her like she needs to protected all the time, she can't deny that Taehyun is a good guy and she does feel grateful for him going up against Jiae. While he's not her closest friend in world, and has suffered her wrath more than anyone else, she's prefers to hang out with him in her free time over the group. He asked her about it once, she invited him to have lunch with him while she did some knitting, she simply said, "Why? Do you hate me too now?" And he never talked about it again.

          Don't let these two stay in the same room together and not expect one of them to die (it's not going to be Chanmi). The two have a complicated relationship to say the least, Taehyun has even jokingly called Jiae the mother and Chanmi the teenage daughter (which caused him to get yelled at by both of them). One of their main problems has always been Chami's wardrobe, while she understands that Chanmi doesn't like short or tight clothing she has attempted to get her dressed that way anyway. However, while Jiae doesn't "soothe" Chanmi like Carnation, she's the best for actually controlling her. Chanmi may be strong, but not strong enough to stand up to Jiae forever. Some members have heard Chanmi even call Jiae "mom" sometimes.

          Bo gum joined Blossom Entertainment shortly after Chanmi had left so they only just met after the debut of Flower Girls. She gives him her advice from experience of dealing with certain people in the company. Being around Bo gum helps Chanmi to feel like she's actually needed, he's too sweet to yell back at her like her young siblings had, girls better be careful before flirting with him.

STAGE NAME: Chanson - means "song" in French, while it's something that most fans have tended to forget about Chanmi as most focus on her savagery, the French Kpop community are deeply touched by the small shoutout.

PERSONA: The Ice Queen: Seldom to speak, and when she does it has people gasping for hair or absolutely flustered. Her blunt and sarcastic comments are often directed very generally at everyone. Many fans have also tended to catch her glaring at nothing in particular.

It's safe to say Chanmi has a reason for being so bitter as of lately, or in general. While the comments have stopped coming to her face directly; doesn't mean she doesn't hear them anymore. The hateful voices seem to everywhere: behind her back, the comments online, across the hall, inside her own head. The worse the comments get, the worse her mood is. The comments have always been coming since the day Jaekwang came back from France with her to Blossom Entertainment. While she hadn't had her own photoshoots up until 2 years with Blossom she's always with Jaekwang and got to take some opportunites with him. For example, the pair were often chosen to be part of family photoshoots for lifestyle magazines. 

Chanmi had also recieved some acting and has made some cameos in dramas by her 6th year with Blossom Entertainment. Throughout her career in Blossom Entertainment, Chanmi always heard the comments. They first started when she joined the company, "She only got in because her brother is that kid model.". It bothered her, because she knew they were right; if Jaekwang hadn't become a model, neither would she. At first she lashed out at people who would make comments, causing herself lots of punishment and disciplinary action. While her habit of getting angry and lashing out never died, Chanmi learned it was better that she were to keep some stuff to herself (like why she's so angry). 

Being herself, she couldn't simply ignore what everyone said. In her time alone, she can't help but think about it. Maybe no one really needed her, who needed a hot headed like her, she was only up for a vocalist role anyway. These thoughts only made her angry of course. They got especially worse when she joined Bloom Entertainment. It was easy for everyone to realize that she and Jaekwang's contracts ended to together and the bad comments would come back immediately. 

"Blossom Entertainment didn't need her anymore, Bloom is so small right now they just took what they could."

Chanmi was angry, but for once, she hadn't lashed out. She became a loner in the company, being alone she couldn't be angry, she couldn't lash out, she couldn't be a monster. Being her quiet broody nature, Chanmi didn't stand out enough to have a main or lead position. No, she was just well known enough to be in the group. Neitzens made sure she knew that, they made sure she knew if it wasn't for her little brother being famous model, even a new company like Bloom wouldn't have wanted her.

         Bloom Entertainment's first girl group, Flower Girls, has caught the eye of media lately. One member in particular, Bang Chanmi, better known by her stage name Chanson. Chanson has always been known as the Ice Queen of Flower Girls, often described to be sarcastic, blunt, even jokingly known as "bully unnie". However, at the group's lastest fan meeting, "bully unnie" may be more than a mere joke. A fan reports to social media that she is officially unstanning Chanson after seeing the way she treats her fellow groupmates-

"While it all appeared to be friendly and funny on TV, seeing Chanmi with my own two eyes.. I've never felt so ashamed. Chanmi is genuinely bullying the younger members. She pulled on Carnation's hair and occasionally interupted Rose when she was talking. It seemed funny at first because it was her being herself but I wished she'd grow up a little and treat the others with more respect."

          The group has yet to make a comment regarding the matter, but more netizens have been opening up, disapproving her behavior. Many bringing up how she doens't even seem to be all that close to the other members, while there were 6 paris of two, Chanson is often put off to the side as a 13th wheel. Since the first comment had been published, Chanmi has also been noted to be off on her own more often than being seen with her group.

         While it's been known for a long time that Flower Girl's Bang Chanmi is not the nicest person in the world, especially after her bully scandal in 2018, is it entirely her fault? Fansites have caught the vocalist on several occasions alone with sunglasses and a hat. Many speculate that the accessories are used to hide her crying as she is fine travelling bare face. Not only this, but Chanmi has missed numerous activities with her group due to "health issues". 

          Bloom Entertainment releases an offical statement after it's revelaed Chanmi will not being joining the group for the next comeback-

"Chanson has been going through a lot every since the scandal of 2018, for her mental health we will be placing her on hiatus. We do hope that she makes a full recovery."

           Sadly, not toomany fans shared in the sympathy for the vocalist, some going to social media to say this was what she deserved for bullying the others. Others say more hurtful comments of how she was most likely faking it to get people to like her again.
