appearance » With her loose eyes and fair skin, people often say that she does not look like your average korean girl. She has a small body frame and is 163cm tall. Her wavy hair is always kept long above waist-length and was dyed in brown. When she smiles, her dimples will show with her cheekbones is evident to see. She have two small tattoos on each of her wrists after getting her grandmama's approval (Left & Right)

She's cool with any styles but she mostly goes for a simple outfit anytime. Soft coloured sweaters and high-waist jeans would be her favourite look. Aeri doesn't like wearing anything too tight or too revealing cause she doesn't like showing too much skin and her grandmama would never approve of that. She also in love with hoodies and denim. ❝ now repeat after me, be kind. be silly. be honest. ❞ — Aeri is basically a kind heart, an air of eloquentness and zest of confidence all in one. She is ever so loyal to her friends and family and is not the type to give up them or anything up. Her patience level is quite long and an furious.Aeri is a rare one indeed. She would to be angry for one would only achieve that when one has done anything that really ticks her bomb off. She's more of a listener than a talker but can be the later when needed. In her group of friends, she would be the one who knows most of her friend's problems for they would seek her for advice or just want a person to listen. Aeri has a caring side of her; which is shown when she's with her family, friends & animals and it has always in her nature to look out for people around her. She's used to be fast on her feet and would be the quick one to warn anyone for caution. People can literally feel her status through her aura and with that, they respect her.

Aeri is one of the person who hold passionate opinions because she does not like people who are indecisive in making choices or can’t make up their minds about anything. Aeri will mostly make it clear when she is irritated or dislikes someone.  Her words seem to be direct and she never likes sugarcoating anything and never beats around the bush. An introvert through and through even though she is quite the moodmaker, she can be very reserved and mostly keep her private matters to herself unless she felt that she needs another person's opinion in that matter. As she is not the type of person to let his anger all out, she bottles up most of her feelings and lets it out by either talking out to someone or sometimes trains extra hard to push the negative feelings behind.

❝ always remember; grace, poise, kindness— and fun!❞ — Her parents are both childhood friends and got married in their late 20s. Few years have passed, the wife is finally with a child but after being few months pregnant, the couple were informed that the mother will have complications if her pregnancy is continued. They were truly saddened over the news but kept on going for the mother have loved their unborn child's live more than hers. Nine months later, Aeri was born a healthy baby on a full moon with her mother passing away a few hours after her birth. Her father was left to raise her alone with the help of his mother-in-law. Sometime, when she was only 4 years old, instead of just visiting grandmama, he told her that she needs to stay with her for a while because of 'work'. Aeri is fine with the arrangement for she loves staying with her grandmama. Other than Aeri, her older cousin Jinhwan is already staying with her grandmama as well so it's safe to say that Aeri and her cousin grew very close with living with them. Her grandmama was firm but loving. She taught Aeri everything that she knew including singing and that's when the magic begins. Aeri starts singing at the ripe age of 5 years old, on nursery rhymes and disney theme songs. Then, she went on and sings trot, the 70s classics and many more which made her childhoood filled with music and laughter. 

❝ it's us three against the world❞ —She also grew up working being a waitress in her grandmama's diner. Aeri have met various When she turned 12, she found a letter from her father to her grandmama with a cheque inside while taking their mail. That's when she knew that her father is never coming back for her. Her grandmama then decides to spill out everything. Her father sent her to Jeju-do to save her from being in danger from loan sharks. He was too deep in debt that he had flee to another country and even changed his name and ethinicity. Aeri was hurt from the truth but it's better to know it now rather than waiting for him like an idiot. She did cry over the news but soon toughened up and continue with her daily life. Somehow, her lack of response was too weird for a 12 year old girl would have perhaps crying for days or begging to meet her father but not Aeri, she was poised and too calm that she never let any of her emotions to enpower her. To build her confidence, Aeri joined the talent show when she was 15 and continued joining till she was 17. She was awarded the silver trophy twice and got her first gold when she was in the talent show for the third time. Her performance was unknowingly recorded by her close friend that was spread in her Youtube channel gaining her some fans and also a music director. 

 

❝ i won't dissappoint you. i promise.❞ — The music director called her house and asked if he could come and visit. Her grandmama welcomed him well into the house. It turned out that he was a also a scout agent for an entertainment company called Starship in Seoul and wanted to recruit Aeri as a Starship trainee. As Aeri is a K.Will fan, she knew of the company's name and was quite thrilled of the news. Boksoon was surprisingly seem relaxed about the offer but it was really up to Aeri to stand and take the challenge. In her mind, it was all or nothing and her grandmama never taught her to give up on a life challege so she agreed to it and packed her things , deciding that she'll join before her last year. Joining Starship Ent. and leaving her home is a major step but it's a chance that Aeri was willing to take. Jinhwan is already in Seoul, finishing his studies and he helped Aeri to settle in her new home in any way he can. It was an eye-opening experience for Aeri who was used to live near the beach and outskirts of town. The thought of fasts cars and big roads scared her to the oblivion. Aeri then finished her high school years in Seoul and graduated in SOPA.

❝ indeed, i'd prefer to keep to my originality rather than being a fake.❞ — Training seems all so easy to Aeri till she got into her dance class. She wasn't that bad but she wans't good either. It was Seola who offered to help her to improve her dancong skills and from there, they become close. Aeri was mostly known as a great vocalist among her fellow trainees alongside Yeonjung and but no bad blood was shed among them for she would always wisely fought in battles that are worth the risk. Aeri was one of the nominees for WJSN with Seola and also was supposed to join Produce 101 but she didn't made the cut. Seola debuted in WJSN and with Yeonjung being in Produce 101 and then was recruited in WJSN, all hopes for her debut seems to be thinning but Aeri kept on sharpening her singing vocal abilities and dancing skills. She did some performances in cafes and also some events when she came back to Jeju-do and her perfomances are all recorded and uploaded in her Youtube channel.

When she was chosen to be the co-leader of Sunny Days, it was then she realized that she is finally ready to take on the stage.

In her golden age, she was a rising musical actress that was famous for her eloquent nature and also her soulful voice. She retired when she was in her late forties after buiding her diner and also her two children which were Jinhwan's father and Aeri's mother. She was extremely saddened over her daughter's death but was happy that her grandaughter is living her. Boksoon have always made sure that her granddaughter is brought up to be a fine and eloquent lady. Even so, you can see her cheekily pester her grandaughter over when it comes to skinship but Aeri being Aeri will gladly play the game too; just to always remind each other that Boksoon loves her little bear. Aeri will call her grandmama at least once a day or two to check on each other.

  
Her partner in crime since 1997. His parents owns another branch of granny kwak's family diner in seoul and wants Jinhwan to stay with his grandmama so he would grow up in a good place surrounded with nature. He was about 8 years old when she first came to stay with their grandmama. Jinhwan is like her older brother and is the one behind her love of english tv shows. He took Aikido classes when he was younger and taught Aeri some moves especially to defend herself. Being a gamer and IT student in his college years, he knows the websites to download free tv shows and poof; off Aeri goes in deeper into TV land. He took care of Aeri when she first came to Seoul to train under Starship. During her breaks or rest days, he would bring her out to the cafe or the family diner to spend time with her.

As he is one of her first friends in Starship, He is her best guy friend, nuff said . She loves hanging out with him because he is like a free spirit that made her feel safe with him . He knows her well and sames goes to her; reading her like an open book and understands her best. Sometimes, he can even figure out what is she about to tell him but he kept quiet and let her tell him herself.She always go to him when she has problems for he always cheer her up she's feeling down. He's is like the twin brother that she've never had . But because of them being so comfortable with each other that they sometimes do playful skinship, some people thought that they're both dating each other (which got the both of them laugh their butts off all the time). He is the only member so far to know of her fear and is quite protective over her about that, always taking care of her while crossing roads and so on.

  
Aeri personally called Seola her angel in disguise because without her, her dancing skills will not be in perfection. They first met in one of their dancing classes when Aeri have problems dancing to the moves. Seola simply went to her and asked if she need her help and Aeri gladly receives it. That certainly made them close and already knowing each other better on the way, they become best friends. She was really happy for Seola's debut and went to their debut showcase and concert. They would also hangout in the practice rooms where Seola would accompany Aeri practicing

Her favourite singing partner and also a close friend. They often accidentally meet in the singing studio or the practice rooms at nights. Hyunseong is like another brother that would care of her other than Minsu. They can see eye to eye with each other and they rarely fight for that. If they have any misunderstandings, they quickly finish it off and move on as they have similar personality traits.

  
Among her girl group mates, she would be the first member that Aeri would go to and can be considered her closest mate in Sunny Days as they are only a year apart. Since Lana dislikes skinship, guess who is Aeri's favourite skinship victim around? Even though many hated her for her extremely blunt attitude, it's safe to say that Aeri can tolerate her well and would sometimes counter back her words. They do have several similarities but they still get along well and take care of each other.

  

Since she had met and seen everyone in her group, she had no problem communicating with them but she wasn't as close with them all as she is with Minsu. Aeri never rush on getting to know them more but slowly lets them open up to her when they're ready to do so. Whenever one of them needs help, she would gladly help them and would let the scene continue from there. Thanks to her observing skills, she tends to notice some of the member's various allergies, dislikes, habits and whatnot which she would look out on the details whenever they are out or anything.

What's all there is know is that she is proud of having a big group brothers and sisters that she greatly she cares for. 

Cold/Gunbin ▸So far, only the Cold seems to be a little distant from her even though he was also one of the first friends that she have made but they can still chat around on some topics and Aeri is somehow always around to help him. Somehow, she would be the one to easily convince him to join in things and etc.
Prince/Doyoon ▸Since they both have the same hometown, it's natural that they both would go to each other for some local comfort. Sometimes, she would let Doyoon talk to her grandmama or call his family with her phone or just pull him out for a walk to cheer him up if he's feeling homesick. And later, her grandmama and his parents become good bussiness partners as they are having the same type of business. As Doyoon would always tend to lose his things, Aeri would be the one to check if he has his stuff. 
Outgoing/Jihyo ▸She's cool with her attitude and all and admires her talents of song-writing and composing. Aeri would sometimes help out with the melodies and notes. They are quite civil to each other at first but they do become close at some point later. Jihyo is one of the girls that Aeri would look out more after knowing her allergies and phobias.
Moodmaker/Jihyuk▸When it comes to Jihyuk, she knew how big his appetite is that she would always have snacks or sweets for him to eat and not chocolate for she knows that he'll get sugar rush. But once in a blue moon, she would give him that to make him all charged up and ready to roll. Aeri understands how sometimes Jihyuk would be misundertood by his random outbursts and blunts words that she would be the one clearing the problem up other than Minsu. She will either call him Hyukkie or Jiji. 
Charismatic/Judi ▸Judi is Juju, her baby koala. Aeri would go along with Judi's aegyo that she too would reply to the girl's grabby hands before hugging her. She is like her ever loyal child unlike Lana who is like the other child who dislikes skinship HAHA. Anime brought them both closer along with Lana and Jangmi they would sometimes have an anime marathon together. There are several times where Judi would suddenly become self-critical of herself for not being as lady-like as Aeri but Aeri would then give her advice and build her confidence back up.  
Soft/Jangmi▸As Jangmi is much more distant due to the language barrier, she took the effort to learn some bits of Mandarin to at least communicate a bit to her. When the two are somewhat closer after some time, 
Unique▸Also similar to Jangmi, the language barrier is what keeping her getting to know more of him. They would mostly communicate with body languge.

Among her labelmates and fellow trainees, you can say that she's quite civil towards them even though she did meet most of them already. She respects them greatly and is basically her own company fan even she does stan other groups like U-Kiss, Matilda, Nine Muses, Seventeen and many more. Aeri would love to collabrate with anyone of them in singing, acting or even variety shows.She knows the Boyfriend members most for they do spend time together and meeting in the practice rooms.

personality » Yoon Woo is a gentleman through and through. He's a pacifist and he never really argues with anyone because he never likes to argue unless his point to solid enough to use. He's just as much of a talker but like Aeri, he prefers to listen and stay quiet. He is very sweet and caring and when in relationships he gets involved absolutely - he would do anything for the ones he loves, he's just a really good person in general. He cares about his friends and strangers. He is her knight; Aeri loves to call him that as an endearment for he always save her from anything when he's around or willing to teach her many things.

   

love story » They first met when they were quite young, about when Aeri was 11 and he was 13. Yoon Woo's family were having a family trip to Jeju-do and the tourist guide immediately recommended "Granny Kwak's Family Diner" for dinner. The family went there and was welcomed with open arms. On that night as well, it was Aeri's job to usher them and to be the waitress (more like waitress trainee) for the night.After the job was done, Aeri went to her usual spot which is her favourite swing near the diner exit and closed her eyes for a bit. Yoon Woo on the other hand, was full from dinner and left for a short walk as he left his parent chatting happily with Boksoon. 

He saw Aeri sleeping but thought that it was something else that he went closer to her. Just as he was about to tap her shoulder, Aeri nodded off in her sleep that led Yoon Woo catching her in time. That made the young girl abruptly awaken from her sleep and stood up in shock. Immediately closing , not wanting to draw attention; Yoon Woo apologized without missing a beat. Long story short, you can say that how they introduce themselves and became friends. 

Yoon Woo and his family's trip become more lively with Boksoon gladly showing them the great places in Jeju-do, bringing Jinhwan and Aeri along. The three bonded over the trip but Aeri and Yoon Woo got even closer. As his trip was coming to an end, it wasn't that hard to say their 'see you' laters' for they both believe that it's not the end. They exchanged numbers and did text each other from time to time. 

It was Yoon Woo who helped Aeri to get used to Seoul by taking her to lots of cafes and be her tourguide when Jinhwan is busy. When Yoon Woo first started acting, Aeri was already a trainee in Starship but she made time to go to his last shooting scene where she gets to be a replacement to act as the lady who suddenly ambushed Yoon Woo in the toilet. They both would always support each other in their careers.
