At the age of 15, he was influenced by his group of friends to dye his hair, so he decided to change it to a light brown color. His mother was very worried of this habit of his, so she made sure he took care of his hair properly to avoid further damage. Due to his inherited genes, Joshua gets a strand of white hair whenever he feels stressed. He's not the kind of guy who would often use gel, most of the time, he just brushes his hair after showering.

Joshua isn't the fashionista type but he was born with an absolutely good taste in fashion. Though he says he only follows the trends.. He gets complimented of how good looking he is numerous times no matter what he wears. Even when he just wears a white tshirt and black pants paired with some black chucks, he receives compliments from others. Joshua also loves hip hop music, so he dresses a bit hip hop-ish as well.
When at home, he likes to be in his white plain or graphic tshirt and boxers only. His reason behind is that, he's staying at home and he wants to feel comfortable. Though when they get a visitor, he is required to wear something formal. And for that, he would put on a coat and formal pants with some high class shoes for the guests.

As the son of a CEO, he attends the business parties his father hosts most of the time. Wearing black long sleeves, tie, coat, pants and shoes. His mother often advices him not to wear all black like his father but he always refuses to listen to her since his favorite color was black like his father's.However, to not upset his mother, he would wear white for her from time to time.
On a daily basis, Joshua would simply open his closet and mix & match ( cue the music jk ) his clothes. Most of the time he wears all black as being fond of the color. Although he wears white as well to please his mom. There are some times that he wears otehr colours though. He makes sure that when the weather is hot, he'd wear clothes where he can breathe in comfortably. Sometimes he wears sleeves, either black or white ( he would always fold it up to three-fourths ) with black pants. But when the cold seasons come, he likes to wear a simple jacket and a beanie. Then again, his outfit would be fully black.
When in school and he's in his uniform, he usually keeps his coat ed. Joshua has a habit of loosening his tie whenever it's non-curriculum time. Sometimes he brings a jacket with him in class, sometimes he doesn't. His school bag doesn't really contain much stuff. Sometimes he only brings a USB since he's focusing on his desired course, 3D Animation.
Despite not being a fashionista, Joshua has a thing for chucks and vans shoes. Sometimes even, he wears chino shorts as well.

[ I'm almost done Mom ] — Joshua, despite being raised in a rich family, he was taught early and oftenly by his mother to be a good son. He was told many times not to be lazy and thus growing up to be a hardworking boy at home and in school. However, his hardworking doesn't reach his sporty side. He's way too lazy to work out. As soon as Joshua gets home, he would immediately rush to his mom and give her a hug asking her how was her day. He has considered homeschooling to keep his mom company instead of leaving her at home with the family maids and butlers. In school, Joshua studies hard and his motivation for graduating with high grades is to make his parents proud.
[ Something smells. Is it you? ] — This boy is very straightforward. When he hates something, he would say it. When he dislikes you, he would say it. Joshua, so far, hasn't made anyone cry over his blunt statements as what he say would only be what he thinks of for that certain moment. As a good boy, he tries not to say any profanities unless needed. Joshua is also a daring boy. Although his mom worries a lot when he decides to take daring risks. He likes to try out ziplining, bungee jumping and even mountain hiking. He loves riding new rollercoasters the best. Joshua is also humorous. It may not be obvious due to his mature and serious expression but he can be funny in the smallest and not obvious ways possible. Or, if he's with his friends, he can be openly funny and even laugh as loud as an amplifier.

Only his family know about him being an introvert. Though some of his friends can tell that he's not the type to socialise. [ Not an american flower boy ] — On September 9 1998, Kyla Lee has given birth to her first son, Joshua Daryl Lee. He was named by his father, Lee Byunghun. His parents were already staying in America due to work, but only his mother had decided to use an English name for herself. Kyla's water broke at 7 in the morning so Byunghun had to skip work just to rush and accompany his wife to the hospital for her delivery. She was in labour for 3 hours, and finally, gave birth to Baby Joshua at 10 in the morning through normal procedures.

He was very lonely in school that time until his sister who was 2 years younger than him, joined him in that school. They were always together everytime there was a break. Studywise, he was the smartest in class, making his classmates jealous of him. He was once bullied by his classmates in 4th grade but surprisingly, his sister saved him by actually stabbing them with her pen. They didn't get expelled nor suspended due to their father's position and knowing that Joshua was being bullied. Kyla and Byunghun had thought of it and decided that it was time that they move to South Korea to get to know their supposedly native culture.

Joshua and his sister, Pauline, were very excited meeting their grandparents on their father's side. They moved to South Korea because their father decided to start a business there. That was when Joshua and Pauline felt pressure on their shoulders. They always ran to their mom whenever they needed a shoulder to cry on. She was a journalist, so she wasn't as strict and determined as their father about them being the heir to their business. Joshua and Pauline were still close to Byunghun, they still bond. However, they, at all times, try to avoid talking about their studies or even the future. They hate being reminded that they are being forced to study an elective module for years just to work on a job they dislike for years till they die.
[ The Graduating Batch ] — Joshua is in 12th Grade now and is about to graduate soon. He has been thinking of escaping to a college in America with his cousin, Dominic, to study 3D Animation. Only his mom knows about his plan on escaping the country to pursue his dream in America. Joshua and his dad may be close but he knows his dad would go beastmode if he were to find out Joshua was interested in the arts. Back in America, his father was supportive and proud of him getting high grades for Art Class but that has changed when they moved to South Korea. The first time he showed his dad his Art grades, he received the most hurting statement his father has told him, "Art will get you nowhere JD." Joshua always flashbacks to that moment and silently throws profanities at how much he hated the society in South Korea and that he wished they were back in America where they were all happy without being pressured of having a business.

Joshua's father cares about his family a lot and is very close with the kids. If not for his good fatherly traits, his family wouldn't be in good conditions by now. Byunghun is very formal at work and finds discipline the key to being successful. At home, though, his weakness is his wife, Kyla. He always gives in to whatever she says. To Joshua, he often bonds with him by playing video games when they're both free. However, he cannot agree to let Joshua pursue his dream of being an animator as there needs to be an heir to their business. Kyla has talked to him multiple times about the kids disliking their situation. Byunghun tried to let them have what they want. Unfortunately, he has became a puppet of society as well. No matter how much he wants his son to be happy, pursuing his own dreams, he can't.

Joshua's mom can be described as the opposite of his dad most of the time. For example, their taste in color. Byunghun likes black while Kyla likes white. Total opposites. Kyla is an extrovert whereas her husband is an introvert like Joshua. She's the one who cheers up the family when someone is upset and the one who always encourages the kids to do the right thing. Joshua, despite being close to his dad, is definitely closer to his mom.

Pauline and Joshua has been partners in crime ever since she was born. She would sometimes be the one to lecture her brother even whenever he makes a mistake. Pauline inherited her extrovert personality from their mom, being Joshua's opposite. Joshua is particularly protective of his sister, along with his father. They would never let a guy go near Pauline. Since Pauline and Joshua are very close, she refuses to separate from him and is insisting on following him to America to study her last years of being a student.

Joshua became close to Dominic as being in the same school and class as him. Dominic and Joshua had the same ambition of being an animator and they both had the obstacle of convincing their fathers to allow them to study 3D Animation, thus making them the best of friends. They often talk about pokemon and girls. Sometimes school work. Most of the time, they just talk without being sure what exactly they're talking about.

Jinye was the first person to greet him in his class. He was sitting next to her on the first day which made them develop a friendship. Jinye could tell that Joshua wasn't the type to make the first move to make friends with other people so she started introducing him to her friends which helped improve Joshua's social circle. As time flew, Joshua eventually started teasing Jinye, finding it amusing and the only way not to bore himself in class.

Basically, his father is a CEO of a big mall company with many branches in South Korea. Whereas his mother is a famous journalist in a big company. Both earns a lot of money. Thus, there is no reason for Joshua and Pauline to waste time on part time jobs. Their mom, being raised in an average family, wanted to make sure Joshua and Pauline would be ready once they finish school, so she already started teaching them how to save money and pay their taxes at a young age. Well, when they moved to South Korea. Although, whenever their dad is around, he would always buy them anything they want at the moment. They just have to keep it a secret from their mom. Byunghun gives all his salary to Kyla. She's the one taking care of the money of the whole family.
Calculating their savings, they could probably buy the apple or samsung brand. Maybe even google. Joshua was given two credit cards by his mom. One where he could spend money in things he like and the other where he had to keep his savings. Byunghun being Byunghun, he gave Joshua an extra two both already containing a large amount of money just in case he can't help himself. Despite their wealth, he tries to practice saving his money and not giving in to temptations. The most expensive thing he probably bought with his money was an ice rink for his sister who was very much in love with ice skating,
school life
Joshua doesn't really like any class in school but he hates Science Class despite being absolutely excellent in it. Why he hates it is because the more he excels in Science, the more his father insists him to take over their business. Joshua was also very good at Mathematics but being an artist and having an artsy mindset, Mathematics is his worst enemy. The only class Joshua enjoys is Art Class and, if it was considered, Dismissal time.
As Joshua is the shy type, he doesn't make friends with the whole school. However, he catches the attention of many girls due to his unknown charm. Maybe it's because of his hair color, he's not really sure. Though when Joshua is in the mood he would often say that it's his inborn cuteness.
Jinye is that one person who has helped Joshua in making friends with other people. Without her, he would've only stayed close to his Pauline and Dominic. He may not show it but he really appreciates Jinye a lot.
