Growing up a child of Aisan immigrants, there are small thing that you grow up with that is not the same as everyone else. 

I saw this video on YouTube that really struck a chord with me.

Please watch it as I feel it will be able to open your eyes or remind you of things that you don't exactly realize your parents may be sacrificing. it's really short under 3 minutes but it is very impactful.

When I first watched it I was literally in tears, because I know exactly what he is talking about, even though I have never explicitly said or thought about there things before, they weye definitely sometides where I probably subconsciously thought about it.

I have my own stories that I remember.

Things like how I hated being the last child to be picked up from day care because my parents had to work until late.

Or how I would complain how my mom's fingers were hurting my eyes when she was putting in eye drows for me. in reality it was because my mom had been cleaning the house all day, and so her hands were dry and cracked.

I only realized when I was older that these things the I disliked were all for me and my sister so that we could live the 'best' life that they could provide

My parents shielded me a lot from problems that were going on in the family because they didn't want me to worry, so that I could  be a child with a good childhood.

After watching the video I was reminded to thank my parents.
