Feature article.. HELP!

Okay,, so basically I'm this feature editor in our school newspaper and I'm having a block..maybe a hollow block? I don't even know...

Well, I don't even know how I got into that position.. God knows how I hate writing essays and composing long somethings..(unless it was telling a nonsense story of what happened to me the whole day)

PLUS, to get in the org you would have to have an essay type of exam where they give you a topic and you do the rest... the 1st time I DIDN'T EVEN WRITE ANYTHING EXCEPT MY NAME!! The 2nd one though the topic was "I Am..." and I wrote my recent argument with my friend in a way like how I would read stuff here in AFF then voila! I'm the new editor -----______-----

SO YEAH IM GONNA CUT THIS RANT ....

I HAVE TO WRITE ABOUT THE DANCE COORDINATOR AND HIS LIFE STORY AND I WAS TOLD TO FIND A NEW ANGLE ON HOW TO WRITE IT.... like the heck.. I can't even compose a decent essay about love and crap...then they ask me to do one about a whole life story?!?!?! And it should be freaky- long cuz it covers half the page..

Okaayyy.. so I just want some help..on how should my article flow.. I would list down the topics I interviewed him..and can you please arrange them? And if possible add more?

  1. Dance as his passion
  2. Most memorable moment
  3. Biggest achievement
  4. Experience in School
  5. Struggles/Challenges faced
  6. Inspiration
  7. Chance to change anything in his life
  8. How would he describe his dance troupe
  9. Description of himself
  10. Legacy he wants to be remembered by
  11. Family

As much as I would like to do the whole flashback and interview thing..they're too cliche.. I have ideas but they're too fictional and I got scolded a lot bec of doing that...

I did an interview for my English class once so it was similar to your article. It'll be kinda difficult to classify it without knowing the questions you'll ask him but I'll try
1. Description of himself (introduction kinda)
2. Dance as his passion (what got him into dance)
3.Experience in School
4. Struggles/Challenges faced
5.Biggest achievement
6.Most memorable moment (I feel like it could be combined with 5.)
7.How would he describe his dance troupe
8.Inspiration ( that's only if the questions are about what inspires him in his dance troupe. Otherwise you could move it)
9.Family
10. Legacy he wants to be remembered by
11.Chance to change anything in his life
