I have a question.

I have a question in general. I've been on aff for 2 years now and for me its difficult for me to write a story and continue to write a story.

When I try to work on a story, its difficult for me as a writer to know what the reader is thinking besides updates? I used to write good stories and got pretty descent comments before I deleted a lot of them. Then when I try to update the recent ones, no one comments or barely for couple chapters I barely get a comment which I dont know if the readers are thinking or something. So is there something for me make interactive with the readers because it seems like Im just making the story for no reason.

does it feel like to have no motivation to write or do you guys keep writing without comments?

honestly i think as the writer i enjoy writing the story maybe the reader may not but it is for me better to know the readers feedback , theyre like little ghosts other wise :P but in all i still continue writing.

Depends on the authors. Personally, I want to finish writing a story because I like the story itself. I don't get a lot of comments and that's sad, but I still write it though

I think it depends. Everyone is different. As for me I write for the fun and joy of writting. To me every single piece of my work is precious so I dont really get bothered even if no one comment.

I have the same thoughts as you.
I always doubt my writing when no one comments on it.
Like 'who am I even writing this for' but the thing is that I still write and its addicitng kekekeke.

It would be better to get an idea about what the readers want but most of them are silent readers :(

I just write for myself. though it's kinda sad if no one else comments. There are alot of silent readers
