Evelyn is a confident girl - she knows when she's right and is not afraid of saying it. But she's also her own worst critic; when she does something wrong or is mistaken, she will ascces the situation solemnly and diligintly. Her ability to think with a clear head, rationality and logic help her form a plan on how to improve and get the things she want. Her rationaltiy is dominant in all aspects of her life - even if she doesn't look like it at first glance, this girl is smart. She is also very bossy, and likes to be in control of the situation - if there's a group project she feels the need to take control, and prefers to do everything herself rather than deviding the chores equally, since she rarely trusts others to do the job rigt.
Despite the logical approach, she is very messy. Her pages are disorganized, her room is a mess and everywhere she spends time at becomes chaotic.
Being ambitious is one of Evie's most dominant traits, as is her over-competitevness. She wants to be the best, no matter what, and she'll do everything to win - cheat, sabotage. seduce.. anything goes as long as she wins. She also works extremely hard to achieve what she wants; she will pull all-nighters before tests, operate on 8 cups of coffee, memorize material the size of game of thrones. She has determination to succeed and acheive greatness, but the only problem is she doesn't know in what. As someone who is non-comitical, Evie has a hard time to decide important things that will have an impact on her life. Even though she's majoring in the subject her family wanted and pushed her to, she has constant doubts and thoughts whether she's doing the right thing or not. This is also why she has difficulties maintaining a full long-term relationship. She never talks about these insecurities as she's afraid people (especially her family) will judge her for it. She's afraid of dissapointing her family as a whole.
A lot of time she's envious of others, especially those that have the freedom to do whatever they want with their life and not worry about the future and providing for the family. Because her parents are immigrants, they did everything they could so Evelyn could be well-off in her future, and Evie feels like she owes them for that, and she needs to have a safe, high-paying job that will help her return her parents everything they'd given her. She feels jealous that she didn't really have a choice but to go for a major like engineering (or other major that ultimately scores a high paying job without any risk whatsoever), while others could just decide to study whatever their heart desires.
Along with being competitve, Evie is also a dare-devil. Her strong desire to win makes it difficult for her to say no to a challange, no matter how hard or weird. This goes to the extreme when Evelyn drinks - as a drunk the part in her brain that can say 'no' just shuts done, and she will accept any dare that comes her way. Anything. Jackson and her compete a lot during parties when both of them are drunk and there's no limit to what they'll dare each other to do.
She is a very sociable and eloquent person, but also an attention . You'll find her in the center of the room, talking to people and charming them with engaging conversation. She enjoys having people's eyes on her.
Evelyn's creative side come out a lot - she often comes up with ideas no one even thought of, mostly trivial things like food combination, party theme or an idea for a prank. She thinks out of the box - when facing a mission or a task, she will supply something not ordinary, something no one thought of. it's sometimes a big risk on her part, but at least it makes her memorable.

Evie didn't really favor the idea of sharing a small room with some stranger, and so she opted to rent a small flat nearby the campus. But her parents can't afford to pay the rent for her (being immigrants, they're not poor, but definately below average class), and so she was forced to pay for her rent. That is how Evie ended up with a flatmate, a weird, mysterious girl by the name of Natalie Pierce. But a few days before the story begins Natalie is kicked out of university for her bad grades, and now Evie is desperately on the lookout for a new flatmate. She needs to find one soon, because her job as a waitress in the sushi bar on campus doesn't really cover the bills.
Majoring in Mechanical Engineering, sleep is a luxury rather than a neccesity for Evie - her parents had put their entire life-savings into paying for her tuition, she absolutely can't afford to be kicked out of this university, and so she needs to maintain good grades. Operating on four hours of sleep and eight cups of coffee (when she doesn't even like coffee) is a regular for her, and so is covering her dark circles with concealer. Maintaining good grades, taking shifts at the sushi bar and being a part of KASA take a good chunk of her time, but it doesn't matter since she manages to juggle these so far. At the apartment, food is always package ramen (unless it's pay day and then pizza is ordered), and that's why when she's over a friend's house she always eats.

When weekend comes Evie likes so sleep, but she also doesn't want to waste her entire weekend on sleeping, and so she sets her alarm clock to 12 AM in case she doesn't wake up until then. She doesn't work on weekends (unless she really needs the money) because she has the policy that weekdays are for stress and weekends are for fun. She usually just hangs out with her friends or by herself during the day, and when the night comes she's out partying with her squad. As her weekdays are usually very stressfull, Evelyn is known to be a wild partyer - this is her way of handling with the stress.

Evie was never a goodie-two-shoes who was innocent and naive and never partied in her life; she had her fair share of alcohol and parties as a high school student, but nothing over the top. As a university student, though, she got exposed to much wilder parties, and as a result her behaviour became much wilder. On the first week of uni she tagged along to a gathering her flatmate Natalie was attending. There she got so high on weed that she remembers a proper expeliarmus duel taking place at one point during the night. She enjoys the thrill and fun that she feels in a party, and her competitve dare-devil persona simply can't resist the adrenaline that comes with drinking.
As a drunk she's even a worse dare-devil, and the part in her brain that can say 'no' simply shuts; she's up to any challange and competition (usually starting off in a drinking competition and advancing to crazier stuff from there), and the next morning everyone will be talking about the crazy thing she did the night prior. If Jackson is in the party, most likely they'll start the night by arguing, continue to competing with one another, and end up drankingly hooking up. A lot of times Evie doesn't remember what happened the night prior, and every time she wakes up to find Jackson sleeping next to her, she screams frantically and escapes. Her hangovers are rough, and she always says that's the last time she's drinking, but then it happens all over again.

To be honest, Evelyn is a little scared of Natalie. She's so mysterious and so weird, and Evie never found her weed stash so she must've summoned it through dark magic or something like that. Evie is kind of pissed at Natalie that she was kicked out of uni and forced her into going through searching for another flatmate. As Math and Mechanical Engineering share some courses, Evie and Daeho met during class and not in KASA. After realizing that both of them are Korean, they became friendly with one another, and as both of them share love for math they got along quite well. Tisha and Evie met each other on the second day of freshman year in high school, where Tisha tried to sass Evie so that she'll move seats. After failing, Tisha was intrigued by Evelyn's lack of response to her intimidating technique, and decided to adopt the asian girl as a hood sister. The two connected well and became good friends; Evelyn helped Tisha academically, and Tisha adviced Evie on dressing matters and hood talk (though Tisha has never hanged with people from the hood herself, being a sassy, trying-to-be-intimidating geek herself). After high school finished, Evie moved to New York to study, and Tisha stayed in Detroit. But the two chat frequently and meet occasionaly. When the two meet, Evie's hidden black persona comes out.
