Jaeyoon can easily be described in 4 words. Cold bad boy prince. Maybe it's his aura or just the way he looks but just one glance at him and the first word that comes into your head would be 'cold' or 'bad boy'. Either way, because of that, he got girls head over heels for him ever since he was born. With sharp jawline that could probably cut a rock (of course he doesn't have that when he was small), dark brown eyes, dark brown hair and a small face. Although he does look like someone who would have piercings or tattoos, he doesn't. Absolutely none. On his 185cm tall and 75kg chopstick body, though he does have biceps, he have no ink on his body and absolutely nothing. Wow, what a prince.
Style:
Jaeyoon doesn't have much of a style to be honest. He is a simple person, if it's a hot day, he would wear black tank top or just a simple button-up shirt. If it's cold he would be bundled up in black hoodie, sweater, coat, you name it. He would then accompany it with ripped skinny jeans or just plain jeans itself. You could say he goes for a chic style. He doesn't really care about what the staffs told him to wear too anyway. Whatever they gave him, he wears it. Inside, for practice, he would usually wear his sleepwear which is usually a hoodie, under it is a tank top, baggy pants and high tops.

Jaeyoon, despite how cold and boy boy he looks at first glance, is a very mischievous person. He loves to cause some kind of trouble, joking around and have fun. He wasn't actually like that when he was small, the moment he came out of his mother's stomach, he hardly ever screamed and cry. He was just very quiet and well, boring. He didn't like playing with anyone as a child, but as he grows older, living in Australia influenced him greatly. He is a lot more carefree, mischievous and playful. Jaeyoon loves playing around with his friends now and really likes causing some sort of mischief. In the group, if there is any pranks or something strange like a spider dropped on the member's legs suddenly, then it would always involves Jaeyoon in it. He just couldn't help it. Jaeyoon though, is not like a clown who takes light of everything. He knows when to be serious and when not to. Jaeyoon is a very confident person. Not that kind of confident, arrogant, but the kind that makes people drawn to him. He is not shy when speaking in front of people and have this confident, tall aura around him when performing on stage, adding that with his attractive look, charisma is born. When in front, he doesn't shake like a leaf but he stood tall and spoke so well that you might think he is lieing when he says he is actually nervous. That kind of confident that makes people envious. Jaeyoon is also someone who is very loyal to his friends and family. Once he promises his loyalty to someone, he stays very very loyal. Even if someone might've done some big mistake, he would still support them.
Jaeyoon is quite an ambitious boy. He certainly thrive for his dream alright. Once he sets his goal onto something, he would strive to reach it. It's mostly a positive thing since unlike most people who might be afraid to do something, he isn't and have a lot of willpower to reach it. But it would also be a negative thing since he may doesn't know how things might turns out as he strive on. He earned all of this from his dad, who taught him to always go for it and be ambitious. As a child, both of his mom and dad is quite busy with their work, so he had to learn how to do most things by himself. Like cooking, studying, cleaning and ect. Both of his parents teached him how to do things by himself, so he is quite independent as a young adult. Although he does listen to his leaders, seniors and peers, Jaeyoon acts on his own accord when he thinks that what he is doing is right. So Jaeyoon can be an ambitious and independent boy.
Jaeyoon can be a bit of a competitive person. Or maybe, he can be too much of a competitive person. There is something about the word 'loose' that just doesn't sound like music to his ear. He doesn't like the feeling of being defeated in some sort of competition or games so he always would go aggressive. Especially in sport and technology games. He just doesn't like loosing and would avoid it as much as possible. Although a bit lowkey on camera, Jaeyoon is quite a short-tempered person. Like said, he is not as cold as he look. Maybe his face looks like it's cold but his brain certainly not. He gets angry easily and is quick to get his head in a hot bundle. He just couldn't help it, one insult that slightly pushes his button and he is off. Although it did got better over the years since he learned not to take things too seriously, it's his nature to get angry easily. Ever since he was small, his parents taught him that money is treasure so it just naturally grew on him. Jaeyoon is actually quite an impatient boy. He have a quote that is always stuck in his head, "Time is money", and you know what his parents said about money. "Money is treasure" so time is technically treasure, so he doesn't like wasting any time and is quite an impatient person.
BACKGROUND
Born on the 12th of December 1996, Min Jaeyoon was a Korean kid. Like has mentioned before, as a child he was actually very quiet, obedient and a party pooper. He doesn't like playing around with anyone other than his relatives and just likes to sit there alone. Even in kindergarten, when he was around 5 (6 in Korean age) 2001, he only stood around the teachers and watched everyone else. As he grow older though, he actually had a decent amount of friends around him and had quite a few admirers already. In 2010, when he was 14, his dad decided to bring him and his mother over to Australia with him for a business trip. His dad had many business trips, but because this one is quite a long one, 3 years, their family decided to move to Australia. That's when his life changes. For those 3 years, he learned English, studying in Melbourne Grammar School, a school for boys. Jaeyoon was surrounded by foreigners, and they were all very carefree people. That influenced him greatly. With them around, he easily make friends with strangers, playing pranks on his friends like they does with him and well, just joking around as a teenager. He became mischievous and playful, like who he is today.
In his school, they offered a lot of different subjects to learn from. Like LOTE, that's how he learned Chinese, and one of them is music. He learned music in school and literally fell in love with it. He didn't really know how he developed a liking towards it but he just did, he enjoyed going to every music lessons and learning how to play instruments. The guitar especially. He just loves it so much, up to the point where his parents had to buy him one, he named it Tash. In 2013 when he was 17 years old, he sadly, had to say goodbye to Australia and flew back to South Korea with his parents. He was a little bit uncomfortable in Korea for a few days, but adapted back into his old home easily after that. He went back to school and kept learning the guitar.
One day, a man approached him and gave him a business card, saying that he works under NewStar Entertainment and is looking for trainees. Jaeyoon knew exactly what is going on. He has been scouted by many company many time on the road, he remembered one that once scouted him, the company name was apparently...SM Entertainment, but he rejected the offer to audition. He wasn't interested to become an idol, especially when he knows he have nothing but the looks. At that time, he was walking by himself without his mother, so she doesn't know anything about scouting, becoming an idol and all of that but this time, his mom was just right next to him. She immediately said yes, saying that Jaeyoon can play the guitar pretty well and Jaeyoon was forced to audition after that. That's how he got into NewStar Entertainment in Oct 2013.

His mom is always there for him, teasing him, boasting about how handsome he looks and always tries to set him up with some of her friends' daughters. Since she stays at home most of the time, she became someone who Jaeyoon can lean on. While his dad is his role model. His dad new many things and taught him many things and became someone who Jaeyoon looks up to.
- Best Friends / Jeremy Jay / University student / 20 / Jaeyoon and Jeremy met in Australia and both of them were classmates. They were both very similar in a way, mainly because Jeremy is the one who influenced Jaeyoon the most, and both gets along with each other very, very well. When Jaeyoon went to school for the first time, Jeremy was the one who came up to him and befriend him. And from there, they became best friends. They joke around, play pranks, gang up on some teachers and well, have a lot of fun together. Within those 3 years, Jeremy and Jaeyoon became really close bros. Although distance is a wall between their friendship, since Jaeyoon moved back to Korea, both of them are actually very loyal to each other so they would still interact with each other through their phone. They literally texts each other everyday, facetime at night, heck even the members knew who he is, and spams each other. They are still very close overall.

The guy is just too nice and reserved for his own good, trolling Jinsung would probably be Jaeyoon's favourite thing to do. (Though, he could say the same for everyone too) On the serious side though, Jaeyoon became kind of fond of his hyung. He saw how Jinsung acted as a leader and respect him just as much. He listens to Jinsung, well...kind of, as a leader but it doesn't mean he'll just sit there and follows what Jinsung says. Jaeyoon is an independent person so he acts by himself when he think his actions are needed, especially with how nice the leader is.

As much as he wants to be patient around the guy, he can't because he is an impatient person. Jaeyoon loves playing pranks on him the most to be honest. Jaeyoon doesn't want to go that extreme since [Black Knight] is also a person but once in a while, or maybe 3 times a week, he likes to push his button a bit.

While [Thorn Rose] and him can be a little bit hard to get along with, he still considers himself close to her. Even though they are females, it doesn't mean he doesn't play pranks on the members, because he does...but he went a bit light on them.

Trainee Life:
He joined NewStar Entertainment back in 2013 when he was 17 years old. Jaeyoon knew he was going to struggle a lot seeing as he had no talent in dancing and rapping. Although he guitar skills is good af, he knew that is not going to get him anywhere to become an idol. Though Jaeyoon had to admit, he had the looks and the voice, which he never knew about until the audition. He struggled with dancing and rapping a lot, but since all trainees in the entertainment were friendly, he got better. While training for the 2nd year in 2014, the reality fell on him when he graduated from his Korean school. He knew he had to find a job soon, but here he was, in this room just to dance in front of the mirror. He felt a little bit stupid but he didn't backed out. He was an ambitious guy, so he practiced harder. He knows he is half-way there anyway, so what was the point of turning back now? So with a very small part time job, he continued his training.
