This is my first blog post, but I felt I was obligated to tell this story that recently happened to me.

I just started college this year (~ahhhh) and I was walking around campus with some of my friends. We started talking about our ideal man and one of my friends jokingly said that she'd go up to and talk to the next guy who passed usince and get his number for me.

Then two Korean men walk past us and sit down on a bench across from us.

No hesitation my friend runs over and starts talking to them and she comes back with one of their numbers!!!!!! I CAN'T EXPLAIN TO YOU HOW MUCH I WAS FREAKING OUT!!!! 

We started texting after that whole mess. This is where it gets interesting.

Halfway into our conversation he just randomly asks: "Do you know Jinwoon from 2am?"

I was curious as to why he was asking me this out of the blue and replied " Yes, he's my favorite member." 

I'M NOT MAKING THIS UP HE REPLIED "My best friend is cousins with Jinwoon."

DJBDUWJDISNJEOU!!!!!)$(%[@&$*"&×      *keyboard smashing*

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL SPASMS ENSUED. HE KNOWS JINWOON. FREAKING JINWOON.

AND THEN HE SENDS A PICTURE OF HIMSELF, HIS BEST FRIEND, AND JINWOON!!!!!!!!!!

I died a little on the inside from the excitement. He asked if I'd teach him English and said that I was his first American female friend.

I told and showed my friend the texts and she flipped out (she's also a kpop fan) and now she goes around telling people she found me a kpop idol.

The world is a mysterious place. A place that (according to my friend) has gifted me a kpop idol.
