hanae has an average body frame, yet she claims to have arms as soft as putty. she is also pretty tall (163 cm). she likes wearing different colored contact lenses with gray being her everyday eye color. she also loves, i mean LOVES, makeup. she can never be seen without her base, eyebrows, and lip tint on.
STYLE
hanae usually never bothers dressing up, but she likes wearing loose, comfy clothing. oversized sweaters, oversized shirts, oversized everything! she also looks best in muted colors, and at times, she wears pastel. BACKGROUND
hanae grew up in the countryside of hokkaido, japan with her parents, tetsuya and minhee. they lived in a large house with a huge backyard, her favorite playground. most of her childhood was spent watching totally spies, singing disney songs, and playing make-belive by herself. she also loved picking flowers and playing in the field with their neighbor's dog. she used to be a shy kid, so she ended up having minimal friends. hanae then swore that she would change upon entering her next school year. since then, she had always taken care of her current friends, too afraid to lose them. when she reached the age of 12, they moved to gyeonggi-do because of her father's job opportunity.
after changing her personality, she turned into a person everybody loved. she was kind, smart, talented and popular. everything was going perfectly as planned until her mother left them during her second year of middle school. it took a great toll on her. she grew lonely and depressed, locked up in her room 24/7 watching random youtube videos to pass time. it was then when she discovered agust d. he was an anonymous rapper that posted covers or sometimes original songs on the website. hanae found his lyrics moving, and beautiful, as if he was telling her not to give up himself. little by little, she gained her happiness and motivation back through his music. after finally letting go of the incident, she also found the courage to sing and write songs, eventually posting them on youtube as well. nobody viewed her videos at first, but she now has a whopping 1,329 subscribers. hanae never showed her face either, making her identity as mysterious as it could be. just like agust d, she hoped to inspire other people to pick themselves up and keep going. no matter how busy she was, she always found time to rewind and sing a cover.

they have barely spoken to each other since he broke up with minhee. hanae doesn't know why, but he seemed to be more distant day by day. she wishes to go back to the old times when they were still a happy family, but lets him ignore her instead. hanae fears that one day he'll leave her too, so she tries her best to show him her love.

jung hoseok has been the sunshine of her life since the second they met. he always makes her smile, especially during the time when her parents split. hanae loves him to bits, and she also hopes to go to the same college as him. they barely fight, but if they do, it's always hanae who begs for forgiveness. (it annoys her how hoseok acts more like a girl than her) they enjoy watching movies together and having sleepovers. through the years they've been together, hanae has developed a little crush on her..unaware that hoseok had actually been in love with her since they were in middle school. he was just too scared to tell her as it may destroy their beautiful friendship.

PERSONALITY : hanae hates him. she hates him to bits. he's cocky, arrogant, and rude.. according to her. yoongi is actually a pretty ok-guy who doesn't bat an eye at anything. she's older than him by a few days, but he acts like he's the boss between them. he is pretty laidback, kind of like an old retired dude enjoying his vacation. he acts like he doesn't care about anything, but deep down he actually really does. he loves naps, only because he goes to bed pretty late due to his music writing. people think he looks like a gangster-who-will-kill-you-i-you-look-at-him-in-the-eye kind of guy, but he's mostly misunderstood. 1. he's not a gangster 2. he won't kill you if you look him in the eye. he probably will, though, if you wake him up in the most annoying ways possible. he likes to snooze during class, only because he already knows what the teacher blabs about. he took summer classes to be advanced in their grade. "to live life easily," he says.
unlike hanae, he doesn't get competitive when it comes to rank. he honestly doesn't know why he's first in the whole year, he always thought that hanae would snag the spot. yoongi is actually pretty self-conscious about his appearance, which is why he doesn't show his face in his videos. he also wants to be know for his music, more than his looks (pretty contradicting eh?). he's also pretty spontaneous, always changing his hair color here and there. last time, it was mint green. he now rocks a cute baby pink.
MEETING : the two first met when hanae was in line for the vending machine. the stupid machine didn't accept her bill, so she asked yoongi (who was behind her at that time) if she could borrow some change. he was feeling pretty douche-y that day, so he slid his coins in the slot, grabbed his drink and walked away with a furious hanae glaring holes at his back. he thought of it as a pretty hilarious joke; he was supposed to go back and lend her some change anyway. However, he returned to find no one in line. he brushed it off, not knowing that that was the day hanae found her arch-nemesis. she had been trying to get back at him since.
INTERACTIONS DURING THE TRIP : when hanae got to her assigned seat and found HIM snoozing, she literally dumped her bag on his lap and took a seat. they frequently bicker with each other, and moments of silence between the two merely occur. outside the bus, hanae turns quiet to preserve her 'goody-two-shoes' image. she turns more vulnerable and naive while yoongi unconsciously becomes protective of her. despite their hatred for each other, they find peace when eating. they share the same tastes in food, and they actually look like friends from afar. during the end of the trip, they start warming up to each other, while hanae discovers her feelings for him. she still tries to deny it, even after the trip.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER THE TRIP : i was thinking that maybe yoongi could try and talk to her more while hanae really tries to deny her feelings. after some cute events between the two, yoongi nonchalantly asks her if she wanted to date him. she refuses and tells him to stop joking, much to yoongi's disbelief. he then eagerly tries to prove his love, with hanae still not believing him. she only realizes her feelings for him when yoongi aggressively professes his love for her, and steals a kiss. it's up to you whether yoongi tells her about the agust d thing; i think it's better if she finds out by herself though
