WINGS Theory Continuation

WINGS Theory Continuation

Jin's film entitled #AWAKE has just released and it's all clear now. Before reading this, so that you won't get confused, do read my previous post which will explain you about Herman Hesse's Demian and how the story links to BigHit's BTS' short films from Jungkook's #BEGIN to J-Hope's #MAMA.

Before explaining about Jin's film, I'd like to add a few things about my previous post — thanks to two users (yoominfly and dreamshade):

1. The word that appeared on the telephone booth is 'LIAR' which I assume will be BTS' next comeback. 'LIAR' will tell us more about Jungkook's death and how it links to Jimin's lies.

2. The snickers represents chocolate in Demian. Whenever Sinclair does something right, his mother would reward him with chocolate. Once, he fell ill after lying to his family, his mother gave him chocolate but he refused to eat it.

3. Aside from Jungkook, J-Hope had wings too in #MAMA. This strengthens my point that everyone of the members plays Sinclair but of different stages of him.

4. There's a whistling sound in both Jungkook's and Suga's film; in Demian, Kromer, whom Sinclair is afraid of, used to whistle every time he called for Sinclair. The whistling represents fear.

5. There are also similar scenes from other BTS' eras, showing that there has always been a story throughout their comebacks.

So, let's get back to Jin's film. Jin's the last stage of Sinclair's development. Everything is much clearer than before, thus, the better and elegant background. Everything has come together for him.

The apple. (Jimin)
The scratches. (V)
The lighter. (Suga)
The reflection. (RapMon)
The confusion/the blur effect. (J-Hope)
The wings. (Jungkook)

All of the BTS members were actually one person: Sinclair.

That scene when he looks at himself at his reflection and realizes that the mirror is water just shows that it's clear now. It's clear as water. He decides to leave behind everything and go to Abraxas.

It's the final stage of youth. It's done. That's it.

I couldn't understand the words-scratches on the walls since it's Korean... I still don't understand the camera and the flower. But maybe that's just recapping? Anyways, if you have any ideas, just share it with me through the comments.

And... When I just started playing Jin's film... RAPMON WAS ACTUALLY READING THE SAME QUOTE THAT I HAVE POSTED IN MY PREVIOUS POST AND I WAS LIKEEEEE GODDDD THIS IS ITTT!!!! ;; I was soo happy. I even used the quote as my status yesterday... I DON'T KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN THE FEELING!!

the camera represents sinclair's family since he lied to them and wouldn't accept the chocolate when he got sick he started eating apples. The flower represents the maturity that was in bloom has now blossomed into a matured man.everything else is correct though but that's just what those mean.

I like it, your conclusion. But I read from somewhere else that Jin is Sinclair while the rest are Demian (inner self, or in BTS concept, alter ego). The whole story is talking about Jin, the one who was finding his true self. Since the story Demian talked about self-discovery, something like that, BigHit used it as a reference for the short films and thus, creating a connection to each one of it. The last part in the story, though, Demian left Sinclair. He reminded Sinclair that if he needed him (Demian), just listen to his heart/thought and he would find Demian within himself. In Jin's case, the members portrayed Jin's six different personalities as he tried to figure out about himself. When each member dies, they are internalized in Jin, thus, creating the real, mature Jin (his true self). The truth is no one could actually decipher the real meaning behind all those short films. But with Jin's Awake, at least, we could have the grasp of what's going on with them.
