If a guy is comfortable with you, and talks to you then it most likely means that he likes you only as a friend. But if he's shy and reserved around you, then that most likely means he likes you more than a friend, which is why he's more cautious to do or say stuff around you, when it's just the two of you. I think he likes you!! Congrats!! I'd suggest not to rush things but just go with the flow lol.

On a serious tone, he probably likes you. Does he have friends that are potential subjects of iterest? No? He only knows you? Then he's probably INTERESTED (not love) in you. You always wait. If he likes you, (and you DON'T! show any friend-zone attitude to him), then he WILL come to you and confess. If he doesn't:

1) he doesn't like you
2) he is an absolute intellectual cutie pie and will wait for YOU to confess but that's unlikely bc he FKING HELD YOUR HANDS HELLO
3) is still confused about question fifteen in the science textbook
4) a snowman (idk)

I would just say, don't think too much about it. Yeah there's that possibility that the friend may like you back.
But it can also be that he was just joking around since he needed to reply to what you said.
"Your hand is so cold." What is he going to say with that? He can't say anything serious otherwise the mood would spiral down .
I'm not trying to make your mood down as I'm trying to think in different possibilities.
However, from personal experience, don't get ahead of yourself otherwise it can ruin your friendship.

I can feel you in a way. I also have a friend that i am/was close with. But once all of our friends started teasing and shipping us together, we stopped talking. We act like we are strangers. I think i like him but i don't know. I'm really confused.

for me it's a friend gesture because we always do that kind of stuff but the "at least you are holding mines now" part i think he/she likes you.

You can tell your friend that you like your friend. I too like my friend and every time our friends tease us we become awkward to each other but we always chat or text, but I never expressed my feelings vocally so I kinda regret that. I hope you won't make the same mistakes as I did.
