Well, to say something different from other comments, you can read stories here for free. One you comment on any chapter of a story, you get a karma point and your comment reputation increases. You also get karma points by others commenting on your blogs. When you get 25 karma points and verify your email, you can up-vote your favorite stories. Hope this helped somehow.
