appearance. not much difference at all. being too meticulous with the way she looks, she has no interst in piercings and tattoos

Her out of office wear usually looks way different, she usually looks a lot more comfortable but her shoe preference will always be pumps, wedges, anything not under 3 inches but nothing more than 5.

personality. drama queen would probably be the best word to describe her. At first glance she may look ice cold but working with her, there would be times in the process that yeah you'd probably want to cut her head off, throw her in a volcano but hey, aside from she's good at what she does, gayoung can be a breathe of fresh air. you'd think she'd be 100% serious to the point it's scary but no, she'd be making faces and sounds usually not to be  heard from classy looking women like her.

In the office/work:
WHen it comes to work, she's nothing but focused and completely obsessed into getting whatever it is she needs for her article. she can be surprisingly charming if she wanted to. a real surprise if you have not seen her on the job. she can also be very immeresed to the point that she goes undercover or would be willing to do things for a story and that's one that thing that keeps her grounded. she knows she has the talent for writing but its not something she boasts about. people would often take her as either just another pretty face or at times, they doubt her talent by often saying that her parents paid people to get her to finish things, ofcourse that frustrated her and she knew she couldn't please everyone so instead, she shows them how hard she works when it comes to her job and how serious she is in taking up her field.

she creates bonds that are usually less than friendship but more than aquaintances. her methods for being able to gain information are always clean surely, because she actually gives it time for people to trust her and ofcourse create a away for them not to know that she sometimes only uses them. gayoung has a way with words when it comes to conversations and being able to get the information that she needs out of someone.

the field of journalism isn't a walk in the park either, one must always be uptodate and alert of their surroundings. she doesn't easily trust people and always careful with the things she says around them. one slip can break the career she had worked so hard for.

often the team captain/leader in all her groups eversince she'd been young, she comes off with a strong personality. work means work for her and there are no breaks and there would be times that she gets a little too authoritative and irritated when things don't go her way.

She can be completely intimidating and annoying when it comes to work. nothing but perfection, she'd rather do the job herself than to let someone else do it for her if they don't seem sure. a flaw, not much of a leadership skill, but she doesn't want to tarnish that name she had built for herself.

at home:
having three elder brothers and basically being the baby and only "princess" of the family, they all wanted to give her the world. they all wanted to give her the love they think she deserves and that had been one reason why she often gets what she wants (in terms of objects). a little tantrum here, throw in another sad face, to the point you'd think she'd taken up acting classes. she surely knows how to have them wrapped around her fingers. she wants that new gucci bag and doesn't have much funds for it yet, well.. let's just say she knows her family's weak spot.

but despite that, she's very caring and would never do anything to let her family down. gayoung makes sure that these presents she would ask for are worth giving to her. although she may look independent when it comes to work, she's very clingy and passionate when it comes to her family.

with friends:
she's not really the type to go out much and when she does hang out with friends, its mostly shopping or doing those boring normal girly stuff but she tends to avoid creating close ties. for her, her line of work can be very crucial when it comes to the people around her. and besides, she's too skeptical of new people. she's even incharge of the profiles for people they hire in her household.

A fast working brain? check. well off family? check. pretty face? check. great fashion sense? check.

coming from a well off family, gayoung surely didn't have to lift a finger to get whatever she wanted and if she wanted something, she is almost always able to get it. sure her family's wealthy but that didn't mean she could buy everything to her heart's desire.

as a child, she'd get gifts of sorts from her family but there would be times that she felt like she didn't deserve all these blessings for doing nothing. it took her a while to find that one thing that made her feel useful. born and raised in new york, surely, one look at her you'd know she's asian physically but the vibe she gives off can come out as intimidating. she's quite confident because at an early age she had been able to accept her flaws and deal with the fact that there will be times people would doubt her and her abilities and possibly why she doesn't let this wealth get in her head is because all her life she wanted to proove people that she can do something.

junior highschool, everybody had been talking about their future and things they'd do after highschool graduation and there she was, still so unsure and had thoughts of just taking in business administration to follow her father's path but no. she learned how much she enjoyed their writing activities that her work would often get praised by her classmates and teachers that she'd been told to atleast try out for the school paper. and that's how it all started.

Her english writing skills were perfect, a lot of people related with most topics she wrote. she had stories to tell, thoughts to express and opinions to voice out. with all those possitive feedbacks, she pursued writing until highschool and finally decided that maybe this was her calling, that maybe she can do change thourgh the use of words and a pen and paper and so she did her best to enter a good college that offered the best education when it came to journalism.

But as time flew by, there were times in her junior year that she felt bored because the topics became repititve and there was no source of a new idea or a new story to tell.

summer before the start of her last year, she had written a letter asking to allow her to take an internship from her mother land. gayoung felt that maybe it was possible she'd have new views, new idas and a new outlook in life if she came back to know her roots.

it was more than just her internship, her disseration paper was also at stake. she was out of ideas good enough and even her work in the publishing company became boring. she had interned as a lifestyle writer for a magazine, her korean wasn't as good yet and corrections here and there during her first weeks was a good challenge for her but afterawhile and getting the hang of it, things felt easy and she didn't like it.  for somsone like gayoung, a challenge to jer ablities and skills were always her drive to performing top shape.
it might have been fate or maybe skill, but three days after doing nothing, hushed whispers and stories started flying around the office, their sister company (one of the biggest south korean media comanpies) talking about the possible biggest scope in all of south korea, something related to the police task office and their supposed secrets when it came to handling "justice". surely, it was something she thought she couldn't pass out on and as soon as she saw an opportunity to volunteer herself into working for them, she quickly grabbed the chance.

all too enthusiastic to challenge her self and the thirst to prove that she can make a change, she was supposed to be the one who did things the least in that team but turned out, gayoung was able to get half the info they needed to the expose.

after that, she was offered a job back in her home country. one she accepted rather graciously. it was a challenge. being away from her family and starting a new, her korean not as perfect yet but shes been willing to learn and to try and adapt to new things, wanting to try living out of her comfort zone.
