Hello everyone!

First of all I would like to say congratulations on becoming an admin!
I am thrilled to be working with every one of you although... I won't be here anymore.

 

On behalf of becoming an admin at Tootle, there are couple of things and guidelines I would like to mention and necessary for all of you to follow.

1. Yes, you are an admin. Yes, you are given more privilages than others. However, that does NOT mean that you can do as you please. I want the admins to be simply be there for organizing matters (i.e. adding people to the groups, introducting people, making sure everyone follows directions, etc.) I do NOT wish for you to think that you are a "dictator" of some sort, that does whatever as you wish. You are still member of Tootle nonetheless, and all the rules follow for you as well. If you are to disregard the rules and act as you please, you will be kicked out from having the privilage as an admin. I want admins that people feel comfortable talking to, no matter what the reason may be, not someone that people are scared and afriad of (although some stern and seriousness will be needed at times).

2. Recently, there has been many drama going on at Tootle, which lead to some kickouts. You are NOT to kick people out as you please. Whether you give a verbal warning, or simply keep those warnings to yourself, make sure that the person recieves THREE strikes, before you are to kick them out. While kicking them out, I want you to clearly state their faults as to why they are getting kicked. And in order to find three reasons to kick a person out, you will need to collect evidence. I need SOLID evidence. Which means wallposts/indirects, posts on groups that don't belong there (i.e. in confession?!?!), rude behavior towards admins and other members, and much more. There will be some people who send screenshots of their conversation to you, and those are always helpful because you know what's happening in pm. People will only give you those messages, only if they trust you, so be trustworthy.

3. Relating to my last statement, being trustworthy is very important. You want them to be on YOUR side, not the "enemies'" side. This can also relate to the fact you should be friendly and social. Also, please do not be biased. Yes, there are certain people you care about more than others. I have those people too. However, while you can be biased when it comes to certain things, if there is an argument that starts between two members at Tootle, one involving whom you are biased towards, DO NOT take their side to begin with. Listen to both sides. Listening is a very important skill. Adding onto the friendly, I like it when people introduce themselves on my wall. So please, when new members join and send you a friend request, introduce yourself! Welcome them! It's quick (cause I copy and paste lmao) and gives a good first impression.

4. There are no certain way that we do it. It's pretty much free and open, and you are allowed to do anything as long as it follows the three rules that I gave you at the top. 

5. And lastly, have fun. Remember that you are here to enjoy, not to stress over things. :D

Now comes the fun part!!

By now, I should have made you all admins of the groups. Remember that it is your responsibility to keep the numbers of groups the same (while the group may be different) and to add members and kick them out as needed.

 

When introducing, I tend to do it in this format:
(song lyrics of their group)
"add & welcome snsd's kidleader taeyeon <3"
(link)
(and tag them)

Yes, this format may be different depending on your style, but it should be friendly and welcoming.

 

Taehyung (Vee) tends to take care of the anon confession himself (he has somewhere between an OCD and perfectionism- he likes to do the edits) and he's the only one that has access to the anon tumblr link (unless he shares it with you guys), so you shouldn't be needing the information for it.

 

We have a base account. This account shouldn't be needed too much, unless you want to make a public notification, or give warnings to people. Don't abuse this account thinking that you all can just access it and hate on people -_-

Account infomation is as followed:

Aff username and password is as followed:
username : tootle_
password : jackass!! (this is a combination of mine and my friend's name- don't judge xD)
these information, obviously, should not be shared with anyone outside of the admin group.

While on aff, the masterlist should always be kept clean. I don't bother with wishlist and couplelist tbh... But if you guys can, that'd be greattt!!!

You can choose to change the featured member and the song (if we have it on the layout), but if you do not know how to do these, I suggest not messing with them and leaving them to be done by someone who can xD

As for advertising, I've always done it myself, and solely by myself. There are list of intros in the other blog, so you can refer to them. I always want a welcoming/friendly/catchy advertisement. You need to win their heart in the first line or two (cause I admit, I don't read advertisements xD).  I always send it through pm instead of posting on their wall. This means, you have to go to their profile, hover over "History", click on "Mutual PM" and post your message there. Once you start advertising, you will see that for some members, you've advertised to them couple of times. After you see that the member has gotten FIVE pm from us, stop messaging them. Also the interval between one pm to another should be about... 2-3 weeks. After 2-3 weeks, you are welcome to send them another invite to join our roleplay.
