first impressions
when people first meet joo hae, she doesn't speak much or show facial expressions. in fact, she speaks very quietly and about two or three words. sometimes people think she's just quite rude when they're talking to her and she isn't responding (that's just how quiet she talks) or people think she's probably "all-that" because her expression when she isn't smiling or anything, looks pretty mean and everything thinks she's just mad-dogging them. so there are times where people just avoid her or won't even include her into the conversations.  but usually first-time meetings, she'll kinda distance herself a bit from people and wouldn't really participate until someone calls her in. 

in depth
however, in reality, she's quite an oddball. growing up, she's always cherished honesty and loyalty from people. so like the saying, "treat others how you want to be treated", she's always been honest to people as well as loyal. she always told people the 100% truth rather than a petty lie. though, she's constantly speaking her mind, she doesn't really care whether or not it hurts person's feelings. she isn't the type to backstab anyone (anyone as in her friends and families) but she's quick to drop people if they were to hurt her once. she doesn't give chances. she'll never do anything to hurt her friends and if she were too - it was probably something on accident or she didn't mean too but all the time she cherishes the people around her. she's a weird person, she has the lamest jokes and then gets angry when no one laughs at her jokes. her jokes normally go like this: "how does a vampire girl flirt? by batting her eyes!!" and then people just sit in silence like 'wtf'? and then starts laughing not at her jokes but because she's sitting there laughing sounding and looking like a dead seal. when i say weird, once she's gotten close to everyone and adapted, she'll occasionally go up to you and whisper in your ear and run away or she'll hump the air around you until you notice and then look away when you look at her. she's very adaptable aka a quick learner as well. it doesn't take her too long to get used to her surroundings before understanding the situation. she's very good with words, when she speaks she can easily convince anyone to do anything or whatever for her or with her but she isn't manipulative. she's very very sefless, she always had the mindset that other's lives matter more than hers. and so she'll always put her friends and families before her. you'll always see that she's the first to offer a helping hand in any situation no matter how hard or difficult the job is. 

 

though, she can be all these things, you know the saying, 'the bad outweighs the good'? sometimes her negative personality is what people usually see more. she's very short-tempered, she can get easily angered by anything - it may make her seem sensitive but it isn't, there are times she just doesn't like hearing childish comments and hates people annoying her. but if she's truly angered (by anything that hurts her deeply and not petty things) than she'll usually argue and won't back down, she'll curse. if anyone tries to talk to her, she gives a rude tone back or argues with that person too for no reason just bc she's angry. she's very impatient, she always wants things done quick and easy and clean. there's no reason to hold back onto something once it's done. she doesn't ever think before she does anything so honestly, her actions are usually out of impulse and dumb and usually gets her into trouble. naturally, she's a loud person. the girl could barely whisper, like her whisper is someone's talking voice. she tries to be quiet though. but when she notices someone louder than her automatically her voice gets louder. she's very pessimisstic at times, usually people say she has a bad mouth - not because she curses or anything, but whenever she wakes up in the morning, she says the most unlucky things. and after every time something good happens, she says something bad. because every good thing comes with a bad. ok adding onto her foul mouth, she tends to add ual or dirty innuendos from time to time when people are talking because she just finds it funny. 

 

daily base: normally, she's pretty abnormal at work or at home, etc. sometimes people consider her so over the top because at work she'll stand in one place and just shout, "oh my god, dammit!" and everyone gets worried and asks what's wrong and she grins, " i wore one sock shorter than the other today," and they groan and ignore her. sometimes when it's quiet, she'll just be like, "don't you think it's weird the sun is called the sun, like why isn't it named the moon or jupiter," when she calls for someone she sees, she'll run over to them - shouting their names and then hits them on the arms a few times. not only that, she has a pretty bad habit of cussing and curses a little too often - a little more than needed

 

daily base [pt.2]: she can be calm and serious at times she needs to be. especially when she's focused at work, working on a case or writing something up. or when her friends are talking to her, she'll understand just by the mood whether or not it has to be serious. she loves to have deep emotional talks too. many people know her actions can be out of place at times, but she's a good person to have talks with and if you need a secret kept - she'll definitely keep it. [that's also bc she has bad memory so i mean, tell her things all you won't theres a 90% chance she'll forget it]. 

kwon joo hae aka vita, which is her french name, was born in bordeaux, france. she is also the youngest out of the 3 kids. growing up, she had always been the oddball in the family, the one who actually liked homework and liked going to school [mainly because she got to see her friends & bc her family was strict, she didn't go out often]. she was the one who was friends with everyone but they weren't permanent and was rly on gullible when she was younger. in elementary and middle school. she just hung out with whomever during those days and if no one wanted to hang with her, she'd sit at the benches along just watching kids go by. when she turned 14, her parents stated that they'd move to korea because of her parents work reasons. at first, she was pretty upset to be having to move. she didn't want to leave everything behind. she had like one or two friends, but even so she didn't want to leave to go to some new strange country. however, she grew to like korea after she adjusted in it. in high school, she finally learned to dress up and put on makeup to get pretty, etc. she was really well-liked and her circle of friends began to grow to more than two. she was considered class clown because she made jokes out of every situation and everyone always laughed. as she got into university, she became a lot more serious - focused on studying hard so she could achieve her dream job. but even if she was serious, there were times she was the average party girls with her few one night stands. she's currently a rookie detective but as well as a student, currently working on getting her master's in criminal psychology. after she landed her job, she's pretty much carefree with studying at times. 

 

past relationships: for joo hae, she's always been a person who enjoyed a good romance in life. she's always been a hopeless romantic basically. though she's pessimistic, she tries to look for the good in the relationships she has. in total, she's dated only four guys. 

 

guy #1 | kim jaehyuk - 10th grade: i guess, you'd consider this to be her first love. he was two years older than her and he always spoke warm words to her, treated her really well actually. she treated him like he was her whole world and she genuinely cared and loved the guy. however, around the 8th month of their relationship, their relationship together began to go downhill. they constantly argued and went on a break for a week, him being the one who contacted her first claimed wanting to fix things. and so they did, things were okay for a bit before they started fighting again. they didn't break up until their one year, which he broke off on the day of their one year. his reason was that the arguing got to him, he was tired of her. she believed that but didn't find out the actual reason until one of his friends told her he'd been cheating on her for a few months because he was upset about their constant fighting. 

 

guy #2 | im hoka - senior year: hoka was a soccer player and joo hae had met him after the game when she was still waiting for her ride, he approached her - talking to her and all. he had always been in her class but she hadn't really noticed him until then. realizing the two clicked, after two months, the two began dating. but the two broke it off after the fourth month, she saw the the dude was kind, he was sweet and all. but she felt like the relationship wasn't exactly moving far and she began to lose feelings so eventually she broke it off. 

 

guy #3 | jung minhyuk - first year uni: let's just say - ok, joo hae wouldn't even count this guy as her boyfriend, they dated for like a month. probably bc the two got wasted drunk one night and had a one night stand and just dated. the two were stupid and had nothing in common, to both of their surprise was that they even stayed together for a month. it was a mutal agreement that they break off. 

 

guy #4 | bae jongha - first year uni: this was probably her longest relationship yet at a year & four months. the two were that couple that on campus, everyone thought that they'd never break, that they were always so loyal to each other and loved each other a lot. however, behind the scenes, he didn't appreciate her for a lot of things that she did for him, whether it be buying him things, taking him out just because or supporting him at his games. on top of that, he'd often insult her at times bc he didn't like how she looked or what she did. she always shrugged it off and claimed it was because he was probably stressed because of practice and all. in the relationship, if anything - it was joo hae who poured her heart into the relationship the most, she treated him with utter love. in the relationship, he cheated on her a few times, some where she walked in on, some where she found out from his friends. and which she forgave, because she thought she was a bad girlfriend and would promise to do better and took him back bc he always was apologetic about it. so she believed it. her friends always claimed she was blinded by love but she ignored it until eventually he broke it off with her. his reason was because she wasn't enough, she didn't make him happy + she was pretty dumb to take him back. 

 

aftermath: none of the relationships impacted her the most then the first one and the most recent one. the others impacted her as well, but it was an "oh well, lesson learned." type feeling for her. her first love, she cried constantly and lost lots of weight to the point she was under 100. there were times, she found herself calling him and all because they did stay friends for a few months before she completely moved on from him before realizing he was toxic because he had also kept her around in case it didn't work out with a certain female. with the recent ex, she had been the same as well crying everyday and became underweight. she stopped contacting people and just attended class and went back to her dorm and sleep it off. during those times, her grades had dropped and she had an idc vibe. there are times today she feels that she isn't good enough for guys that'll she meet up or talk with because she's afraid of them leaving and cheating on her. or another is she gets scared when people close to her insult her or get angered bc sometimes she doesn't even know what she did wrong and she'll just immediately apologize and feel like she's not good enough. 

 

her friends or the people around her think that she doesn't care about those relationships anymore because once she's moved on, she becomes a better person. she, herself, think she doesn't care but she'll sometimes lay in bed and think about it. what she could have done differently and maybe she wouldn't be so angry and upset with the past. 

could it be love?

he caught my eye
when she first joins the house, the person who caught her eyes was kim taehyung. she thought men with deep voices were very attractive, so whenever he talked, it was in a way soothing to her. but he looked like a kind and friendly person to approach, very happy and go-with-the-flow type person to her. she has a good impression of him because he was quite easy to talk too and all and quite funny. however, she doesn't really approach anything more towards him because she didn't feel like they were vibing. 

when jin enters the show at first, he laid eyes on joo hae. at first, she seemed shy and a bit mean so he didn't really have much thought on her other than with her looks, she was probably not a nice person. but he constantly found himself looking at her whenever she wasn't paying attention or looking elsewhere. whenever she occasionally smiled or made a joke, he tried to make a joke to see her a smile which he thought was pretty. so he eventually gathered his courage to talk to her, she wasn't enitrely a bad person like he had thought. in fact, she was actually a fun person to talk to and be around. so he tries to talk to her more often and get to know her more and hang with her when he can. 

the chosen one

 

 

 

 

for the two, at first, it was probably a small feeling and they thought it'd go away. going out to eat one day, just the two, they talked about each others work and family, the usual small conversations. as they were talking, they drank and got drunk. the two started talking about their dating lives and what or who they were interested in. namjoon hadn't responded much to her questions so joo hae went over to namjoon's side and sat next to him, she looked up at him, she was a bit more drunk than namjoon. "you know..." she slurred her words. "if no one in the house or outside goes well for you..." she poured herself another glass of alcohol. "theres always me!" she smiled before downing the drink. namjoon who was still just a tiny bit sober, looked at her in confusion, "you?" she chuckled, "yeah me, dumbo... i, sure as hell like you." she poked his shoulder. she then laid her head down to the side and closed her eyes. namjoon stayed quiet trying to process what the girl just said, she's drunk. she could be spouting nonsense. but then again, people normally say what they feel when they're drunk. he had soo many thoughts run through his head. then her head popped up and she leaned against the seat before leaning her head against namjoon's shoulder. he turned to see joo hae fallen asleep on him, he gave out a small laugh. "this girl is such a trouble sometimes," he sat there, thinking about the fun moments with her, whether it was her angry and wanting to shave his head off, or her doing something stupid for everyone to laugh - she sparked a bit of something in him that he began feeling attracted to her. for joo hae, after being around him for a bit, she developed feelings for him. he was always caring for her even though there were times that he pissed her off and annoyed her, but he was always willing to be there and talk to her, he was never mean to her on purpose. 

 

he was different from the guy that caught her eye, taehyung was a good person, but she just thought he was a bit too child like and she just felt like more of a sister to him. initially why she felt more inclined towards namjoon. he's also different from the guy who noticed her, even though jin made sorts of efforts to get to know her or get close with her - it didn't work out. he was always taking care of her every single bit of the way and she felt like jin was more of a brother. she joked around jin like a younger sister and acted like one. around namjoon she acted as her real self. 

the end

happily ever after
joo hae stays till the end of the show and between her and namjoon, they end up telling each other they genuinely like each other. but namjoon starts to see a bit of his ex in joo hae, the way she acts and all at certain times. namjoon begins missing his ex-girlfriend again, joo hae was whatever about it at first, whenever he mistakenly called her by his ex's name, she shrugged it off. it took her awhile to get over some of her ex's and she could see that for namjoon. it was slow and just a small phase so she didn't minde. but moreso often, he began calling her by his ex's name regularly, getting her things that his ex liked but she didn't like and so she began to be upset. annoyed and angered by his actions and so their little bubble together burst. with that being the case, namjoon realizing his actions, he left the show [if thats even possible] to try and give more time to get over his ex. joo hae is pretty broken hearted but she then decides to focus on work and friends and a fresh new page to start all over on.
