I haven't really shared my thoughts on the whole "Minzy leaving the group" issue. I guess I simply couldn't bring myself to comment about it or make a huge thing out of it. It's been a 3 months when she left the group. I know that this is 3 months late but I'm ready to voice out my honest opinion about it. For starters I want to apologize in advance if I ever come off as mean b*tch or my if ever my choice of words would be degrading. I am in all honesty just sharing my thoughts about the whole thing.

I have Minzy's noticed odd behaviors since 2014. There was something fishy about her actions and I've also noticed that she was rather keeping her distant from the other girls. And when she changed her IG name I knew that something huge was about to happen. The only question left was the "when" of it.

When 2NE1 first debuted, I was leaning towards Dara the most because she was from the Philippines and I was most familiar of her. But not long enough I started to love the other three, Bom, CL & Minzy. I really liked Minzy because she was so talented and I was amazed that she was able to achieve so much despite her young age. They have all became my Queens and my world only revolved around them. I was hooked.

Everything was perfect until Bom's scandal came up and that's when it started to get messy. Minzy kept her quiet for a while but then she started doing stuffs like changing her name on IG, changing her bio, releasing music ect. Something changed. She changed. She rarely hang out with the other girls on her free-time, sure they were busy bodies but a short coffee-time with her members wouldn't hurt right? Minzy often flew to L.A. Some moments CL would be there too but I've never seen a picture nor simply something saying that they've met or Minzy visiting her. Unlike Dara who always make sure to post a picture for us to see. Dara also comes earlier that her schedule or for-long her stay just for her to be able to hang with CL and have a moment together.

Last year's MAMA was an epic/glorious moment for us. After not seeing them perform for 2 years, they were there standing in one stage and performing. I seriously cried when I watched it. But after that Minzy posted a picture of her saying "Mission accomplished".. yet another proof that Minzy has been thinking about leaving for a while. She was just waiting for her contract to end. Right after that speculations/news of her leaving 2NE1 came up again but this time neither YG nor Minzy denied it. Instead came a confirmation that she was indeed leaving the group.

To be honest when the news first came out I wasn't shock but I was disappointed and sad. I wasn't shock because it was bound to happen anyway. They were going to eventually disband in the future, but what I wasn't prepared was for it to be this soon. I kind of understand Minzy's feelings.. she has been the longest trainee out of the four and she has improved a lot since their debut. I definitely agree that YG is an for not letting her shine, at first. But on the contrary YG probably didn't let her do solo works because he probably thinks that she wasn't ready for it. Maybe he didn't saw what he was looking for in Minzy that's why her solos were scratched. It's a given that Minzy is talented and there's not a doubt in my mind, but I don't find her charming. Her stage presence was kind of meeh.. for me. She was often overshadowed by the other 3 with presence alone. At first I was very considerate, understanding and supportive of her. I wished her nothing more but luck and cheered on her because I knew that she wanted this. This is what her heart was saying and most specially it made her happy. But then came her "ingenious" remarks. Tsk. That's when she called hate upon herself. Remarks such as "Four is just a number".. "I'm my own goddess".. yada yada yada.. And let me remind you that letter she posted on IG. Not even a mention of 2NE1 or YG. Tsk. I was so disappointed when I read her letter. After all the years of being together not even a "thank you" or an "I'm sorry" for your members? And don't get me started with her friend Ashley but it doesn't end with her. In fact she's not the only one who made such remark, All of Minzy's friends who were brave enough to voice out their opinions gave out such inconsiderate comments on the other 3 that all I wanted was to throw a bomb at them. Choi and probably the entire Gong-family kept on insisting that CL was the bad guy. Girl! CL ain't the freaking bad guy. She freaking worked hard for it. She sent demos after demos for 2 years before YG even considered giving her The Baddest Female. She worked hard for every blessing she is receiving right now and that applies for the other members as well.

As YG once said to winner "... I'm feeling uneasy so you guys can't be comfortable. You need to be uncomfortable. It has to be harder, more uncomfortable and scarier that it was during your time on WIN.."... "You don't succeed just because you came out of YG. You are going through the eye of the needle. You are competing with hundreds of other groups. The second you guys think you're doing well is the second you guys are finished." Despite YG being the king of trolls he got it right this time. Just because she can compose songs and throw a little something here and there doesn't always means that her songs were good. I guess in a way YG is somehow protecting Minzy for not giving her the opportunity to release her music and do solo works. He knows that she isn't ready so he is protecting her from the haters and their ty comments. 2/3 days ago news of Minzy un-following everybody (except for her fansites) on IG and twitter(?) came up. She is definitely working hard trying to erase anything conneting her to YG and 2NE1. She forgot where she started and forgot about how much she owes both YG and 2NE1 for letting her achieve her dreams. She's trying to throw the name 2NE1 when she is still taking advantage of it. Tsk. I bet Minzy never told her plans to the other 3. Because the way Dara's acting right now we can definitely say that she is deeply hurt by her actions.

I don't know. I've moved on.. But if Minzy keeps on doing stupid thing like what she's doing right now.. then she can bet her life that I won't stop voicing out my honest opinions and I certainly won't stop defending my OT3. I'm not gonna keep my mouth shut.
