I'd rather be cheated, even though truth hurts. It may laid to explaination and pain is inevitable. But you might get over it in a short period of time. Rather than not knowing what had happened why dt person left w/o a word. Questions might pop out to u for d rest of ur lives and it cause u to be empty as hole.
I honestly would choose to get cheated on instead. If I got cheated on, it will at least lead to an explanation why the person cheated, hence, knowing the reason behind it. At least you would know. Having someone leave me without any explanation is more painful for me for it will haunt me forever, unless that person shows up again. Thoughts like "What happened?", "Where did I go wrong?", "Why did he/she leave me without any explanation?" will be engraved in our minds. It won't be healthy for us too. Of course, getting cheated on will also hurt (a lot), but eventually, you'll move on. Not like when someone leaves you without any explanation.
For me, it's like... it's better to read a story that didn't have a happy ending than a story that is torn halfway through the last page, not knowing what happened in the end.
Oh, I am the only one having different thoughts so far TT I would choose getting cheated :( Because I would rather have my relationship broken knowing the reason behind it. I would want to have closure. I don't want to spend my life wondering what went wrong with that relationship that it ended that way because it would hurt me more knowing that I am not even worth of an explanation. I would chose blunt honesty regardless if its painful. Idk, that's just for me. Hahahahahaha but you all have a point too though. Either way, they're both painful haha
Either way makes you feel like u weren't enough but I'd rather be left without an explanation bc the thought of not being enough to the point where my love cheats on me isn't a situation I wouldn't want to be in
I think its better to be left eventhough it hurts cause there's no explanation than to be cheated by the one you love so much..and i think that is much painful than being left(but i really do not know cause i haven't in a relationship yet.)
