PERSONALITY:

Minyoung is a very active girl. She likes to go out and do things on her day off. Normally, people like to sleep in and rest, but Minyoung will go out to the park and play with children and pets. She is a very capable girl as well. Tell her to do something, and she will eventually figure it out.  Once she sets her mind to it, she can and will do it, and it wont be half assed either. Minyoung also loves to have fun and play. She doesn't like awkward moments, she absolutely hates moments of silence for no reason, she likes to fill in the gap with suggesting a game. She basically likes doing things that are fun.  Intelligent is something she's proud of. She can easily see through things that aren't real and is always quick to act when it concerns people. On the plus to her fun-loving side, Minyoung can also be very mature. She can grasp when to be an adult and when to be a kid. She can handle situations very maturely, when it's that time. 

Minyoung is also known to doze off often. She does, and she doesn't really mind it, it just means she's comfortable with whoever she's with. Minyoung is a very aggressive person. She will it you back if you mess with her. She won't stand for people being bullied nor will she let herself being bullied. If you piss her off to the point of her wanting to hit you, you're in trouble. She will also jokingly hit her friends softly as well. Minyoung is just a naturally cute person. She can just smile at a person and be called cute, not that she minds. Minyoung is also a very neutral person. She doesn't like to pick sides, so if there's a fight don't go to her if you want someone on your side. She can be strict on herself as well. She won't let herself do certain things, and she sets goals for herself. She is only strict with herself. 

Minyoung can be very blunt. She tends to just let out what's on her mind whether it hurts your feelings or not, she'll say it, and very nonchalantly at that. She is also quite clumsy. She can and will trip on air, and very randomly. She's not allowed to handle any of the plates unless they're paper plates. This girl is so disorganized. If she takes forever in the morning, it's probably because she lost something and is struggling to find it. Despite being quite good at everything, she's insecure about herself. She doesn't like the way she looks or the way she acts, if she could change, she would. MInyoung is quite naive. She's a little child compared to the others so she trust's what they say and will follow their orders, if it's not too obvious, that is. 

BACKGROUND: 

Lee Minyoung was born on July 11, in 1999 to a single mother. Being a single mother in Korea was shamed upon, at the time, so Minyoung and her mother had a hard life. The only thing that helped was music. Minyoung grew up listening to music and nothing else. No TV, no computer, just the radio.  Ever since she could talk, she could sing and ever since she could walk, she could dance. Minyoung and her mother made do with what they had. It wasn't a lot for her mother, but it was more than enough for Minyoung. A little before Minyoung turned 5, her mother had gotten a new boyfriend, so she would often go to his house and play with his son. His son was 4 years older than her, so he took care of her well. He danced with her and he looked after her. Minyoung loved them, not only because they were nice, but because they made her mom happy. 

After her mother and Taeyong's dad got married, when Minyoung was 6, life got a lot easier for them. Even then, Minyoung was still dancing and singing to the songs that played. Minyoung did well in school, as well. She was always in the top 10 of her school and she was always trying her best. As time went on, and when Minyoung was in middle school, her step brother got scouted for SM, and at the same time, EXO came out. Minyoung had become a huge EXO fan and actively learned their choreo. In 2013, Tayong had managed to convince Minyoung to join SM, since she did like singing and dancing so much. She danced to EXO's Mama, and F(x)'s Nu ABO and she surprisingly got in.

Despite being step siblings they are very close. Minyoung grew up with Taeyong and he trated her well. Minyoung cares for Taeyong vary much. She tells him about every big thing that happens. He was the first to know about her being on a survival show.

Micha is Minyoung's best friend. Their relationship seems weird if you didn't know them. They are very affectionate towards each other. They even call each other "Yeobo" and "Jagi" because they're that close. But by no means, are they a couple, they're simply best friends.

"Nae? Want some ice cream?"
"Of course! Who do you think I am?"
"A trainee?"
"Shhhhh. The trainers don't have to know!"

Together, these two could not get any weirder. They talk about random stuff, if not, dancing. They get along well and that's all that matters, right? Nope. When it comes to dancing the competition between the two are real, but they both know Ten is the better dancer.

When Minyoung first came to SM, Taeyong had introduced her to 'SM rookies' and they played a game. Jaemin and Minyoung were chosen to play as a couple and from there it just grew. They call each other 'Hubby' and 'Wifey' whenever they see each other. They'll hug and pretend to be a couple only to fight and break up at the end of the day. 

"Wifey~ Your Hubby is here." 
"Hubby~ That's great~ Now I'm gonna go get some ice cream."
"What? Noona! I just got here."
"Welp. You wanna come with?"
"Okay."
"By the way, what happened to your face? I miss it when your cheeks were cubbier."

Lay is her favorite male sunbae. When she first entered SM, she danced to MAMA, and to Nu ABO but that's another story, and he happened to see it. He complemeted her about it after she got in and since then he had been keeping tabs about her progress in dancing. He's gotten really close to her over the 2 years she was there. 

"Lay gege, how do you do this part?" *Shows him a specific part of some EXO song*
"Ah, you do it like this." *Shows her how to do it*
"Thanks! That was the only part I was stuck on."
"When I come back you have to show me your cover."

It isn't a secret that Luna is Minyoung's favorite idol in SM. Minyoung has been a Luna fan since she was 10 and when she got to meet Luna for the first time, she fangirled, inwardly of course. Luna was one of the unnies to be a lot more caring and open to the trainees so Minyoung and Luna were able to get close. Luna helped Minyoung with dancing hen she asked for it. 

"Unnie! Free somebody is awesome! I really like it!"
"I like it too! The dance is fun. I'll teach you one day."
"I already learned it. "
"Then we can dance together one day. You're debut is soon, right?"

✩ The Bad twin - Kim Yewon (17) / trainee / goofy, sweet, secritive, sassy / 6
Yewon is the devil on Minyoung's shoulder. Yewon is the one that supplies Minyoung with snacks during breaks and is the one to drag her out to get junk food in the middle of the night. She's the only one to encourage Minyoung to eat Junk.
