Seyi has a rumour on being an owner of denim clothing store among her students because of her denim wear fashion. She owns various denim clothes range from simple ripped jeans to dresses paireed with cotton shirts and sneakers.

ambitious. seyi has strong desire to succeed in her life. she has all plan laid out the moment she entered high school in order to make her life better in the future. she want to break free from her old life hence she dreams big and work hard to achieve it. strong-minded. despite the struggles she has in life including her broken family and financial problem, seyi does not let those break her. she learnt from her own self who once tried to kill herself because of depression that, life is a test and if you want to score it you have to fight those problems or you fail with death. outspoken. she tells you what she wanted and what she dislike. seyi does not afraid to state something because she thinks that one should be confident in himself so there will be no regret later.

a bit feminist. growing up with just a mother figure gave seyi different perspective of life. she questioned the role of a man and it's unfair how woman get ill-treatment from the society without caring the fault of the male too saying like her mother did not treat her husabnd well that was why he went away . seeing her young mother look down by people and be in between jobs because of gender and social class make her bias more towards women so they could get their rights tho it's quite hard because korea is a conservative country. defensive. she could get defensive if someone try to pry on her life. knowing people can be judgemental, she avoid personal issues. she hates being judged and analyzed. it make her feels weak and vulnerable. hence, she avoids such situations when people start to talk about personal life especially family. impatient. another bad traits of her. she is the person to rush you so that everything is going to be done quickly despite there are many times to spare. her students sufered a lot because of constant nagging to hand in assignments fast. rushing things keep her busy and put her mind off things like unnecessary feelings such as loneliness and boredom.

Literature — it's one of the reason why seyi pursue literature. she just love how words are beautifully written with emotion and imagination combined. she doesn't have any specific reason as for why she chose chinese literature over others. it's simply her interest on learning new languages. 
music — enjoying good music no matter what genres is not a sin and music is a healing too. plus, she enjoys singing tho she is not that good at it, just at an average level.
BITTER MELON JUICE — she has an addiction to bitter drinks despite the occasional freak out when she has excessive intake of it. 
SUMMER— mostly because seyi is not the type to wrap herself in layers of clothes because its suffocating. she likes to exposed her skin (tho not in a ty way) and enjoy the sun bathing her skin.

dropping food on her shirt  — and still eat it. it would be gross or endearing to some people but she would not throw away some piece of heaven. you could also say she's a bit of messy eater. 
pLaying around with her hair — she would twirl them, brush her hair again and again, tie and untie it. she would do these without her knowing her fingers already playing with her hair. 
sleep talking — it's something her mother points out years ago and seyi finds it embarrassing.

COOKING & BAKING — growing up mostly alone and eating take-outs, seyi had learnt the hard way to feed herself. on lucky day, she can eat something delicious but maybe not if her try and error practice on cooking gone bad. 
NIGHTWALKING — a relaxing routine before she goes to sleep just to breathe some fresh air because she is busy in the morning. 
EXERCISING — her way to make sure she is fit and toned. seyi likes to keep her figure in check to boost her confidence.

BACKGROUND

employment — mandarin lang and lit lecturer in ewha woman's university (ewu), seoul. 

her parents get married at such an early age, right after graduation from high school. it's out of love and of course because of seyi's existence. but all that went downhill after a year as her dad left the picture. seyi's mother worked hard for their life hence the negligence happened. she also behaved immaturely sometimes such as went out partying and clubbing because of her very young age and the slight feeling to break free from her responsibilities. it was quite rough period during seyi's childhood with her mothers avoidance on facing the reality. fortunately, things were getting better when her mother's family decided to help and her mother worked in her family restaurant. she slowly became more responsible of her child.

however, seyi was then a teenager when things got better. being a teenger is hard because that's when emotions started to go haywire. teenagers tend to rebel and hate everything that they dislike. seyi too couldn't help being like other teenagers despite her past. and maybe what happened was being a fuel for her to became a lot more emotional. seyi was quite rebellious and hating everything. she would not listen much to her mother and hating how broken their family is. their relationship could not get any better when seyi shut herself from her mother. she got into teribble depression because of she hated her life (financial status, the grudge she kept on her parents for being irresponsible) and those results of bad parents' upbringing. she almost ended her life one day but she decided she don't want to die in pain. she had enough pain and that's when she started to become stronger with her past as fuel. she studied harder and forced herself to be more mature. she was then offered a scholarship oversea and that's when she took the oppurtunity to change her life completely.   

seyi came back to seoul only when she has her master in hand. she did not spend much time leisuring around after studying and quickly find herself a job. she got accepted into ewha woman's uni as a lecturer a month after graduation thanks to the new course offered in the uni. she gladly leave the house and went to seoul to stay there permanently 

current events

seyi lives in the middle of city because it's the center of everything so it makes her easier to drive back and forth to everywhere in seoul easily. she owns a small apartment that she bought once she had saved enough money. her weekdays are spent with work starting from 8 am till 8 pm with breaks in between before she finally goes home whereas in weekends, she keeps her life busy with chores, exercising and sometimes baking.

on the night of june 8, when the experiments broke out of SISTs and caused a city wide blackout, seyi was grading papers in her office. she then decided to call it a day because staying means nothing at that moment with no lights. she then drove home with a plan on cooking and take a warm shower before eating dinner. when she arrived home, the electricity was already fixed but she noticed that the padlock and alarm went out of service because of the blackout. she reactivated them again quickly before she got paranoid of the thought that someone might have broken into her house easily. well, she was about to find out later that night.

MOTHER — gang yewon // 44 // owner of a small restaurant // hardworking, noisy // seyi and her mother do not really have a strong bond because of the lack of affection and guidance during seyi's childhood. it's because of yewon struggles on being a young mother facing a lot of critism with no support for years until finally her maternal family took them back. however, it's kinda too late to fix the broken bond between them and they become awkward with each other as time flies. seyi comes back home sometimes during holidays but that's merely because she feels pity to her aging mother. she actually wants to be a good daughter for once despite hating everything about her memories when it related to family.

— Please answer all question to the best of your ability. 

HOW did you first meet the experiment? — he was hiding in my bathroom. i was about to take a shower after cooking a nice dinner but the door was locked. i opened it with a spare key with the thought that maybe the door is messing up again because that happened several times. everything was okay until i saw a figure crouching in the bathtub. it was absolutely creepy and scary seeing a stranger in your bathroom, hiding.  

How do you feel about meeting someone who has superpowers? did you believe him at first? — meeting someone who has superpowers is beyond imagination. sure, we can dream sometimes but honestly such thing does not exist right? i know so until i finally meet someone like that. i swear i thought he is crazy but not until he showed it to me. seeing is believing.

How do you feel about sist after hearing about the experimentation?did your perception change? — changed 100%, we all know how barbaric experiments on living things are especially to human. i can't believe the all mighty IIST did that honestly. i thought they meant good to create a better society but they ruined other people's life for just some superpower s?

what are your plans for the future? — future? well, I planned on getting a phd and get a better position in my faculty. when my life is finally stable, i just want to live in the moment. busy myself with work and maybe find myself a perfect man who can stand with me, im getting older anyway. but of course that's not what i really need to do. im perfect all alone, i dont really need a male figure in my life.

DO KYUNGSOO

— zhang yixing

personality before — do kyungoo before he was kidnapped for experimentation is beyond normal. he was the most sweet next door boy you ever met. he was very polite with everyone around him especially with elderly. he speaks with sensitivity and nice words. he was also selfless. he cared others more than himself. it's okay if he is hurt as long as the other is happy with him. overall, he was very compassionate. he was sympathetic and loving to others, showing his concerns freely.     

PERSONALITY after  — do kyungoo after four years of being experimented on is completely a different person. he is no longer soft spoken person. he speaks harshly to others and don't really care if he came out to be rude as long as others get what he meant. he is quite selfish. people can be deceiving and he did not want to take anymore risk after the whole ordeal of being selfless makes him became the easy target. kyungsoo only cares when he can benefit something from the situation. he became heartless. he displays a complete lak of feeling. showing no remorse of something awful. simply because he had experienced worse of all.        

history — first meeting : the first thing seyi did when she arrived home was to put away her things on the couch and made her way to the kitchen. she scanned any available ingredients and decided to make kimchi jjigae. she spent thirty minutes in preparing dinner and setting up the table. seyi then went to her room to have a nice warm shower before eating. she grabbed her towel and dragged her tired body towards the bathroom door only to find it locked. she groaned and cursed under her breath because it was not the first time her bathroom door has such probems. she fished out spare keys inside the nightable's drawer and unlocked the door.
 
as she started to her dress shirt in front of the mirror, she noticed that the shower curtain was drawn around the tub. she hated it when that happened because it looked messy hence she would always keep the curtain together at one side only every morning. seyi frowned and made her way slowly towrads the bathtub. she swore she had drawn the curtain to the side, she never forgot to do that after bathing but...seyi huffed and carefully pulled back the curtain to her left side. her eyes fall on a figure in the tub and her heart stopped for a moment.

there was a guy in her bathtub! seyi stopped breathing for a moment before finally deciding to make a dash towards the door. but the second she wated to run, the man who dressed in weird attire looked up to her with tears in his big, doe eyes and said  "don't let them find me please". when empathy is a trait that seyi loves about her, she might hate it at that moment. that man looked terribly broken, he could not be a burglar right? or a criminal. for some reason he looked harmless at that exact moment when their eyes met.

the truth revealed: seyi basically forced the stranger out of the bathtub, pulling his ear off towards the living room. kyungsoo basically shouted profanitites and tried to escape (he can do it easily tbh but he did not want to cause any scene which lead to him being sent away). seyi interrogated him and reluctantly kyungsoo told her the truth. seyi did not believe all of those until kyungsoo went mad and caused a small earthquake in the living room. seyi could only wished she was hallucinating but seeing the man ready to blown up, she just kept mean remarks to herself.

the fight:  the fight that was the turning point of their relationship. seyi as has been mentioned before was very very reluctant on telling people about personal issues. she would get defensive if ever being questioned about something personal becaue she did not want others to know how weak she actually was. Having a dark past and all are somethig Seyi wished people would not know about her because she thinks that as her weakness. 

the fight happened when seyi went home and saw her mother in the living room with kyungsoo. they seem to be talking about something deep and seyi felt nervous and scared. she was then felt angry. why is her mother here in her house when she never once visited her? why kyungsoo opened the door to starngers despite seyi telling him that everyday? they both now were together seyi was so scared her past will effect her present. she worked hard on hiding every of her weaknesses so this meeting between two people that changed her life in mny ways should not happen at all. she was scared kyungsoo would know evrything from her mother.

her mother excused herself to go back home once she saw how pale seyi was. she knew her existence there worsening the situation. seyi just nodded as she walked her out the door not sayng anything at all. then, all hell broke lose. seyi was screamng and shouting profanities to kyungsoo, demanding what they were talking about. kyungsoo remained quiet and that was when seyi knew her dark past was all exposed. she did not want to see how he was going to judge him and all so she told him to off without litening to kyungsoo. 

and kyungsoo being defensive of himself felt mad. he should not get shouted like this. he was trying to be understanding like how he used to be which was very hard to do yet seyi pushed him off like that. it's hurting him. he too then fight back with harsh words and being rude although he actually did not mean it at all. at the of it, they both end up crying alone with seyi hiding in her bedroom and kyungsoo still in the living room. they wee both feeling guilty for hurting the others.

but this where the point where they both started to be more open and tell about themselves more to each other when both realised they did not want to hurt the one that mean so much to them anymore. 

RELATIONSHIP — they both grew from total strangers to someone they depends on emotionally. they need each other for their own happiness because when they are with each other, they find calamity and relaxation as well as feeling nervous and scared which are normal in realtionship. they open up to each other with every revealation of their own weaknesses and traumas and later on develop this sense of security on being close together. it's like they are the anchors of each other to keep making themselves stable and have that support to keep getting better and be happy. 

it took times of course for their relationship to develops into something with seyi having issues with men and kyungsoo being rude all the time but eventally they grew close. they took comfort in each other. they were both sad people that need a break in life. maybe not much words are being uttered and they mostly would fight but it's all good when at the end of the day, they do things together trying to mend and fix what is broken.

the good vibe their developed through spending time together (eating together, cooking and baking, watching dramas etc) is noticed by seyi and kyungsoo but neither wanted to comment on it. they relationship was awkward but everyone could see how they are actually fit. seyi started to became less feminist and kyungsoo started to care again. they sacrificed few things like ego and theor bad traits for the other half yet they also gained faith and love.

most importantly, one thing about relationship is, one would not be lonely when they are with the other. seyi and kyungsoo fill those gaps in each other's heart. they might have problem with admitting but showing is a lot more meaningful.         

ENDING — surprise me? haha they can end up together or not or dont have any label but have that something like idk up to you babe!
